@@aewhhy The video's message I believe is "To give ones life is to release one's soul, in return, grants new life". As a way of saying even after a life died, there will always be new ones to come.
"beautiful" "wholesome" /facepalm I need to get out of here. So many people just full of shit so they can say "something nice" and cure their own need for validation. Beautiful? Which part? The teeth bursting out of the dead minions skull? Their march from the factory? The circle of minion life as described by Meatcanyon? The last one...maybe. Wholesome? Which part...the part where we watched an aged minion lay down naked on a forest floor and starve themselves to death? How about when Felonious almost snorted a minion like Tanjiro snorted that one guy. It was neither, you started writing your comment for social validation, and didn't even watch his show. Your community is a toxic one...I am honestly impressed with what this creator puts up with and filters out. You heard a David Attenborough impression, and those were the words that came to mind when you immediately took to the comment section in an effort of "NOTICE ME SEMPAI!!!". I'm not kidding, I wouldn't care about any of you flakes. If you are kids, well that's just wrong, his shit is clearly not for kids so you should probably speak up.
These little dudes lived since the dawn of the world, and are seemingly invincible. To think of them dying, and to do so of old age, surrounded by their family for billions of years, to the very end, having lived a long and eventful life... brilliant. Even if some were expecting the minions to all gang and eat the dying old minion, or some other horrific thing only MeatCanyon could pull off, it's an oddly peaceful thought. The only thing can be said of this being strange, is the way they reproduce, or that they reproduce at all. Quite strange, but a great story, truly.
This speaks a lot about mortality. The crowds gathering around the dying minion, showing they aren’t a sad species, because they know this isn’t the end. Gru taking the Minion Elder on his final day, and ending in a beautiful forest. The direct comparison between life and death is beautiful too. Showing that while on thing is ending, more things will go on to do greater, better things.
I'm surprised this isn't actually horrifying or all that weird but this was quite sad and beautiful to see, the cycle of the minions, they age and birth a new. Thank you for this wonderful documentary of the minions, something I definitely wanted to see.
Every single thing about this short is genius. The story arch. The animation. The voice acting. Most especially though, the script is just 10 out of 10. You need your own television show.
"It's not a matter of if they left a mark on the world, one to be transcribed for endless seas of people to revel over for millennia, it's a miracle that they lived at all, and that they did so with love in their heart, and to others that were so close to them." Okay, this is insanely beatiful
A lot of modern animation over-beautifies everything, hiding the lack of artistic meaning. Papa Meat’s grotesque animation emphasizes the depth of the art. I think it’s pretty cool!
@Manaj remember, you cannot just judge a book by it's cover (or it's grotesque art style to be exact) it can have something special within the art of it's writing
I love how the true horror is only implied. Either the minions have a very high child death rate or their population growth is exponential and will eventually cause them to overrun the earth.
@@SpringDavid That makes some really odd sense that Gru would take an interest in them. He researches their species and helps give them higher survivability and in turn they help him out around the lab and do housechores. They aren't a low intelligence species, but their understanding does not go above that of an adolescent child due to their brain capacity and they aren't an aggressive or predatory species. Think something like the Oompa Loompas from Willy Wonka. However, they can still learn how to do complex things and even have their own language. I guess I just like to theorize and make up background information on fictional beings. Especially since the Minions are a semi-intelligent species, but what they lack in size or strength, they make up for in ingenuity.
This was actually… good. Good as in no horrific ending or disturbing aura, which is what I was expecting from MeatCanyon. It was pure, yet suspenseful, knowing what this man is capable of creating.
@@inkmania_yt1877 idk man them giving their nutrients to give the best possible chance for their offspring is pretty wholesome in a fucked up kinda way
This is an absolute beauty of a documentary, the tragic long life a minion lives through to grow its species after death. This video accurately and properly explains the circle of life for this indigenous creature and me must never look at a minion with an evil eye, for now it is known that their sacrifices are are necessary for their life to continue.
It’s grotesque but…it’s just life. It’s the beauty of life. We can all hope that this is how we go out…surrounded by our loved ones…our bodies returning to the Earth that nurtured us. Knowing that while our loved ones will miss us, we’ve lived a good life…
I love how everyone here is so desensitized to MeatCanyon’s content that they’ve dubbed flappy tited minions starving to death to give birth through their teeth with Gru sniffing them to judge whether the young ones are ready to be hatched as wholesome “Everyone” includes me too obviously, such beauty
In defense of Gru, the minions are a species that have existed for millions of years as seen in the movies, so it's not like he created them to be like this. It is simply nature and he's the farmer. Many creatures sacrifice themselves for their children before they die.

they come from the teeth, youre just so babified and disconected from real life that anything will only be disturbing if it has blood or woemn skin in it, anything else is like showing it to a bby (youre not developed enough to be a real person)
@@siriusmywaifu4043 You mean the most tamest video lmao
Agreed
This feels like your watching a real document about life instead of a horror 3 minute video about the life cycle of minions
Exactly what I thought!
@@FragileAsAFlower i liked this comment instead of the op cause i want it to stay 666 :)
Probably the David Attenborough like narration
I mean, life is horror.
Sorry to say this but
*you're
the only heartwarming meat canyon video to exist.
Those tiny minion babies are probably one of the cutest things meat canyon has ever drawn.
And I want to squish it, Torture it, and Kill it
What about dababy
What about papa meat PFP?
But disgustingly
Also very normal hmmmm
This was Suprisingly *wholesome!* almost felt genuine and warm even

That's their life cycle so it shouldn't be strange
Also the fact that they burn the body sounds like that's their culture as well

I love narrations by Sir David Meatenborough!
“A wonderful moment of clarity that life is ever fleeting and to be cherished at every moment it’s not a matter of if they left a mark on the world one to be transcribed for endless seas of people to revel over for millennia it’s a miracle that they lived at all and that they did so with love in their heart” that was actually beautiful
Enough to make a grown man cry
TRULY
that lack of punctuation was horrible
@@abandonedaccount123 ima be Fr with you it really was
this was actually pretty wholesome. a story about a minion that embraces death and says goodbye to its world, and gives life to the world it said goodbye to, and how its family and friends said goodbye to it.
this also really felt like a nature documentary
probably because of the British accent lol
And the babies cute
This is really, really beautiful. My mother passed away just last year. Her life was anything but extragant. It was quite mundane, but she was more than content. The message - it's a miracle that we live at all, is something I can appreciate. I'll still try to chase after worldly things, but I wont beat myself up over it now. Thanks for this. Really.
We exist to produce offspring, she obtained her purpose in life. Now go impregnate some fertile wombs

I feel you bro my mother and sister past away by an accident while I was 10 years old at the time sadly my father wasn’t there also because he was on another woman leaving me and my 3 siblings.
bro i did not understand the video at all. but still, i hope good luck for your life.
@@aewhhy The video's message I believe is "To give ones life is to release one's soul, in return, grants new life". As a way of saying even after a life died, there will always be new ones to come.
After seeing the gumball machine boss “reward” his employees this one wasn’t bad at all.
I expected something actually quite gory or terrifying. I never thought I'd see something so beautiful and wholesome this made me shed a tear.
Oof all the bots attacked your comment

"Shed a tear" ok good 4 u
Uh
"beautiful" "wholesome"
/facepalm
I need to get out of here.
True. You got a good point!
Not all meat canyon vids can be messed up
@@chemicaljack818 Oh, they certainly can. But they aren't. 👍
It…. Starved itself to death.
@@Monster_NopeNope the circle of life is often incredibly harsh, and very gruesome. But somehow remains beautiful in the eyes of most.
Lmao it’s crazy how a video about MINIONS can make us feel
All of us are desensitised cuz this just seems sad and happy at the same time also cute weirdly
I'm surprised this isn't actually horrifying or all that weird but this was quite sad and beautiful to see, the cycle of the minions, they age and birth a new. Thank you for this wonderful documentary of the minions, something I definitely wanted to see.

I came back here cuz of Despicable Me 4. And our asses will always be flipped off from the life cycle of a minion💀
Either the minions have a very high child death rate or their population growth is exponential and will eventually cause them to overrun the earth.
i think they are a longlive species so the need to reproduce only after one dies and baby mortality is a part of nature
honestly the high child death rate, while not as terrifying as overrunning earth, seems like a more realistic (and kinda sad) implication
@@Maniacman2030 I like this take
Nah, there's a simple explanation: most minions don't reach such an old age that they're able to spawn due to a high rate of work-related accidents.

That actually quite makes sense. I've always wondered how they were able to reproduce since the dinosaur age.
Yeah every dead minion means like 20 new ones.
Have you watched film theory? He proves that they don't repopulate but rather gru is able to turn humans into minions.

“Everyone” includes me too obviously, such beauty
In defense of Gru, the minions are a species that have existed for millions of years as seen in the movies, so it's not like he created them to be like this. It is simply nature and he's the farmer. Many creatures sacrifice themselves for their children before they die.
