I have learned that if you put a little something under the rear feet it will slope away from the grease trap and your eggs won't be a problem.

Great vid especially since shot on Iphone. Questions: What griddle plate did you use? Amazon has several and if you got it from them please let me know by sending me a link. I know the plate will hold temp when open but the Ninja XL shuts off (Verified by Ninja Customer Service) When you close it fires back up as evident by the fan sounds. So, have you done something to maneuver around what Ninja called a safety feature? I hope so because it seems pretty dumb to me.

We were actually told it stays on with lid open in grill mode. And it appears that’s true because it doesn’t tell you to close the lid. As far as the fan and Ninja customer service I don’t know? We also had to leave it open for the perfect pancake video. I hope this helps and I hope you have the BEST DAY EVER.
Is the grill difficult to clean?
Not with that new griddle plate. We have already started a deep clean video, and it will be out soon.
