Ten’s vocals is still very underrated he’s sang countless falsettos and high notes and yet only gets appreciated for his dancing
He get 10 bcz he's ten. Same thing happens when kpop dance ranking come. It's super annoying.

I don't have any knowledge about singing, but I observed that his voice is quite versatile too? I mean he can pull high and low register very well.Also, his voice can fit to any genres as well. But him singing in rnb genre is superior to me.
I just don’t seem to understand how and why ten is placed in number 10 for vocals when he has showcased his abilities (especially in his higher ranges) countless times.

People underestimate jaehyun just because he is a baritone. Boi i tell you he’s got a lot of potential as a vocalist
yess, even lucas. like lucas is a bass but he sings soooo well. he even said we he was auditioning, he originally auditioned to be a singer. LIKE STREAM YEAH YEAH YEAH AND KING OF HEARTS
True for a baritone he has good range and support he's not able to belt like tenors at the higher tenor register but objectively speaking he's better than haechan and maybe renjun but not xiaojun.

As an Ot23 Stan . Taeil got the best vocals among all of them . They're all vocal kings but Taeil hits different
Taeil is the only NCT member in top 10 SM vocalists (number 1 is kyuhyun)… but others NCT vocalists are better than most of main vocals in other groups outside SM, no offense, just my opinion

Heechan, Doyoung, Taeil as well as the rest of NCT members are one of the most unique, refreshing voices I have heard. I am a Shawol appreciating talent. NCT visuals and voices are no joke.
today I really think that Xioajun. with Doyoung to # 2 because it's hard to choose! Xiaojun vocals. He's amazing, listen to his new single LIVE or the high notes on Beautiful LIVE! He's fucking awesome! He can sing high notes while sitting in a driving Shindong car from Suju!

Bruh jaehyun that low why u sleeping on him. Yes he can't hit high notes like other tenors out there but for a baritone he has a good support and range and nice vocal control.

(Top 4 and 5 are pretty similar it just the differences in the vocal range and vocal color. But having wider range doesnt make one is better than the other. Some of them are better in breathing control than the other. And some members didnt get chances to showcase their vocal skills enough. Besides top 3, the others are good vocalists.)

I happened to listen to Kick It (I came from Girl’s Planet) and found Doyoung’s voice extremely attractive hence the reason I’m here lol. There’s just something about his voice - like Kyungsoo or Kyuhyun’s (my biases from their group). SM’s vocalists are the best. It’s crazy how good looking they are too.

My rest of the list and ranks keeps changing with the songs but the vocalist who unequivocally stays at No.1 position is Moon Taeil.
His voice has it all, be it the voice, the vocal color, the range, the stability, the tone, the emotion...just everything.
Unfortunately, he is also the least appreciated member by NCTzens.

Xiaojun should be ranked first. His vocals have such a beautiful range he can do everything and when he’s singing live he never strains or looks like he’s struggling even when he’s in the recording booth he’s perfect.

NOT Y'ALL SAYING JAEHYUN'S VOCAL IS WORSE THAN HAECHAN, RENJUN AND CHENLE LMAOOOOO. Renjun and Chenle literally cannot support their voices and Haechan has really shallow support (he is on the weak vocalists rank) while Jaehyun is on the standard vocalists rank (which is really REALLY high). I think every one just sleeps on WayV :/ he is incredible, I think this video isn't based on fan's votes, or at least a good and reasonable sample of all fans, I searched it up and some sites had polls ad fans could vote right away and the result was way better at least in my idea :) (maybe that's why this video is disliked by many viewers)

The amount of Jaehyun vocal slander in the comments is just sad, but at the same time, not surprising given that deeper-voiced idol vocalists or vocalists with lower comfort ranges/tessituras in general are just under appreciated compared to their higher-singing counterparts (ex. BTS, (G)I-DLE as well). As a baritone, I would give him a slight edge over Xiaojun for his mixing (he can definitely support higher than C#4/D4), but if he's a lower tenor (which I think he is btw), I would give him a nice edge over Xiaojun due to the development of his lower and mixed/middle registers (either way, they're still 3/4 respectably).
Also, there was a bit of a time when Doyoung was (maybe still is) better than Taeil though (his approach to G4-B4 was better compared to Taeil), but either way Doyoung and Taeil are now closer to each other in terms in technique (I think they could be interchangeable now depending on the point of time) lol.
Yo factss, he actually has great technique and can support really well. His vocal tone is also very pleasant to listen to. I feel a lot of people overlook him just cuz he doesn’t do high notes, which is honestly just sad.

Like some vocalist who screeches out a “high” notes even if he or she doesn’t support that well is automatically placed higher than a vocalist who sings comfortably in a range that he or she can relatively decently support more or least in this world.😂💀

Doyoung and Taeil are pretty interchangeable.
Taeil has a better lower register (the best in NCT), a better mid range (stronger support in the E4/F#4 range) and better agility. But Doyoung in the G4-B4 range is much more open and he’s the only vocalist in NCT I’ve heard supporting A4. He’s less nasal and pushy, with a healthier approach to his singing as well. I would say he’s slightly better but it’s very arguable. Imo Doyoung>=Taeil.
Xiaojun and Jaehyun are at a pretty similar level as well. They both have pretty average lower register and pretty strong mixed. Jaehyun is a slightly better mixer, he has better placement so I would say he’s third.
The fourth place goes to Jungwoo, his mix seems decent up to F4. SM needs to showcase his singing more because he lack material. Then it’s Haechan, who’s very shallow tense and nasal but has shallow support going up to Eb4. So for me

@@orianebrissot5173 I meant that his voice normally sound that way I don't think he is singing nasally ,his sound itself sound nasal naturally ( I don't know how these vocal ranking works to be honest) .I just love haechan's voice so much ( NCT is just so much of talent:)).. for rosé her sound is not nasal itself but she uses that techniques or atleast that's what I thought . I don't think that's how his voice works.. I didn't even realise their voice are nasal until I read comments both in the cases of rosé as well as haechan..( I guess I have a thing for nasal voice then😭)
@@lele-he3zf I love Haechan’s voice too, but if I have to rank their technique I also have to point out their flaws. In Haechan’s case one of his issue is placement, and it’s not good to project your voice. And there’s no such thing as natural nasality, if he had good technique he wouldn’t deal with nasality as much
Yes!!! Jungwoo has a super strong head voice dominant mix and an easy sounding low register. His voice is super sustainable! He’s a really strong vocalist in NCT, not sure why they haven’t worked him towards main vocalist.

I don't trust people who rank Jaehyun below 4/5 just because he's not a tenor like the rest of the vocal line. The only baritone in the main vocal line. Look at that.
Eh I think Jaehyun is a lower tenor (either a dramatic or spinto-but yea his passaggi (where your voice switches from chest to mixed and then mixed to head/falsetto naturally) and tessitura (comfort range) definitely lie slightly lower than the rest of NCT), but yea he's definitely in the top 3 for sure (I think he's better than Xiaojun and definitely Haechan), and doesn't take away the fact that he is under-appreciated as a vocalist compared to the rest of his fellow members. I find that most KPOP idol vocalists who are not lyric tenors tend to be under-appreciated compared to their higher-pitched counterparts (ex. BTS, (G)-IDLE, 2PM).

@انس انس Jungwoo's technique is actually really solid though. If he had a wider range (or showed it to us), he'd be better than Dream's vocal line tbh. However, Ten has improved a lot during the last couple of comebacks. He might actually climb but for now, I'd still rank him 9th

Pretty solid ranking but I'd have Jaehyun above Xiaojun and Jungwoo higher, he's honestly more technically proficient than Haechan now
@@rfmmike6096 I agree that Jungwoo's technique is better but he sumply lacks range (or hasn't shown us his proper range yet) so that's why I put him lower. Same goes for Jaehyun to some extent. I feel like Doyoung, Jaehyun and Xiaojun are really close when it comes to technique but Xiaojun's range is really wide and pretty developed all the way through while Jaehyun's head voice isn't as good
Yea Xiaojun's upper mix is better than Jaehyun's but I think Jaehyun;'s mixed voice and lower range is better, it's pretty close though so it can go either way. Doyoung I think has surpassed both now that he's supporting G4. But 2016-2019 Doyoung was on the same level as both of them, he's just improved a lot in the last year.

I know you think I am biased but I am not, maybe nct is better then nct but it just my opinion and you have your own opinion, so please don't fight me.
For me, every member of nct can dance, sing and rap really well, all boys are really have talent and pretty!♡ Even though, there is some member standing out in each ability.
In my opinion:
For vocal, i love voice of Taeil, Ten, Kun, Xiaojun and Haechan so much. SM has so many best vocal.
For rap, i love Teayong, Mark and Lucas, powerful and smooth rap.
For dance, i really love Ten. My god, his dance move is attractive and powerful, has so many detail and really smooth.

Ehh, I’d put Jungwoo way higher. Definitely above Chenle, he’s soft spoken but his technique is more stable than Chenle’s.
not even gonna mention his low notes which are mind blowing, even though his voice is naturally high
@@jungwooaceofkpop OMG yeah!! I was so shocked by his lower register in that one video where he was singing trot. It was so effortless. If only he debuted earlier or had more lines, he could’ve been one of NCT’s main vocalists.

@@jungwooaceofkpop Yeah true, he’s part of 127 so in that unit he’s most likely gonna be outshined by the other vocalists. Hopefully they give him some high notes and more lines in the future, I think people would really change their perspective in these vocal rankings...

I'm honestly disgusted how most fans place Jaehyun lower than vocalists who barely support. Like Jaehyun is literally 1 of 4 Vocalists in NCT who has sold grasp of breath support, this is annoying me so much him getting ranked lower than vocalists like Haechan, renjun, chenle, kun, Ten etc
Ikr? He has better sense of support and development of registers (especially his mix/middle) and less issues with nasality than the rest of NCT aside from Doyoung, Taeil, and maybe Xiaojun (if Jaehyun is a lower tenor though, he would beat Xiaojun for sure though), so I don't know why people are placing him lower than Top 3-4 in these rankings, but to be fair though, deeper-voiced vocalists or vocalists with lower tessituras in general (whether they're baritone or lower tenor) are just under appreciated within their groups in general (like also look in BTS (a pretty severe case actually) or (G)I-DLE for instance lol).
If you are disgusted, it is your problem. Most people enjoy to watching thrill singing like high notes and Jaehyun doesn't promised so much. Support is important, but not everything nowadays. People want entertainment to comfort theirselves, that is why they watch artist singing. It is not opposite where artist singing comfortably and people just watching.
@@avril5757 I agree with you that support isn't everything as there are other things to consider like pitch, placement, vocal cord connection, tension, openness, larynx position, presence of resonance (openness + good placement + great support), etc. to consider, and yeah, you can enjoy high notes (it's all subjective preference), but if they're hitting high notes without the proper support or healthy technique, then it's pretty likely that you won't be able to hear them sing these high notes that frequently anymore in the sometime future (or it won't be as great as they were in the past). I mean yea support isn't the only indicator, but the rest of NCT vocalists below Jaehyun also have other and worse issues compared to Jaehyun aside from shallow to no support as well such as nasality (they have worse issues with nasality compared to Jaehyun lol), throatiness, closed throat, tension, high larynx, etc. For instance, Haechan, who fans tend to rank ahead of Jaehyun, has worse issues with nasality and keeping an open throat and neutral larynx (high larynx) compared to Jaehyun aside from shallow support lol.
Also, Jaehyun is of a lower vocal type than the rest of NCT which means his tessitura (comfort/natural range) is lower than the rest of the guys, so of course it's not as natural to him to hit the high notes compared to the rest of NCT (who are (light) lyric tenors iirc), but that doesn't mean he's not as good as the rest of the group as in compensation, he can hit the lower notes more naturally compared to the rest of the group (if y'all can appreciate high notes, why not low notes which is the opposite side of the spectrum?) and his overall technique is more developed than most of NCT except for Taeil and Doyoung. I mean if we're going to use high notes as an indicator of good/interesting vocalist, are we going to say that females are more interesting or better than males in singing because they can reach the high notes more naturally or easier since they have higher comfort ranges (so for instance, is Momo better or more interesting than Chen as a vocalist just because she can reach higher notes more naturally and easier than Chen despite her almost undeveloped vocal technique? Nope.)? Not necessarily.

Ten definitely should be higher than what he’s being placed at here but I get it’s a subjective opinion/ranking. Ten has showcased his vocal abilities often (especially his higher ranges and notes). He’s an outstanding vocalist that can sing notes that even Baekyun can. I get that some vocalists can be under-appreciated but Ten shouldn’t be one cos he has showcased how versatile he is severally.

Jaehyun is actually slightly better than Xiaojun, but the difference is really small.
