That's me. I'm in love with Taeil vocal. He is amazing and still amazing. I bet he would be my favorite nct vocalist all the time, but THEN Xiaojun exists. This dude changed me literally in a second he opened the mouth.
the slight lyric change, _“i’m sorry that i walked away”_ in the last chorus of *yestoday* is my favorite part in the entire song. doyoung sings with such wistfulness, while the instrumental and lyrics evoke such regret + nostalgia.
which is why it’s the best song off empathy

Finally, someone acknowledges the beauty that is the From Home rearranged version. Taeil’s vocals are unbelievable in this song. And when Doyoung hits that Mariah Carey run at the end? I almost fell out!

ikr punch is structured weirdly and I also really like it. it's a song full of chaos. someone's whispering then shouting they sing in chorus then doyoung be all out. I can't explain it properly but really Punch is a really really good song and it's rare as far as I know.
It gets more melodic too. I didn't listen it for few weeks the listened to it, it sounded so good, so melodic . It has magic
