He goes extremelyy high, but it's all strained and sometimes unsupported notes. Try watching a duet with him & Kyuhyun together. It'll be a bit more easier to understand if you aren't trained to hear his ability alongside Kyuhyun. No hate though i like him. JYJ definitely had some of the best vocals though
What Changmin? Even in TVXQ (5) i would rank him 4th. Junsu and Jaejoong were the lead vocals. Changmin just stands out for that one high note but he has to strain to reach it.

Well I'm no vocalist or vocal teacher but from what I watched and according to specialists top 5 is D.O, jonghyun , Chen, ryeowook, kyuhyun and not only one or 2 vocal teacher a bunch of them said that . And people it's not about your favourite vocalist it's about best technique , stability and things like that if you ask me D.O is my favourite from the 1st minute I heard him sing which is 4-5 years ago ( this list isn't by an expert I think it's by voting or something) .

Not that I don't love Kyungsoo or that he isn't a good vocalist, because he is, but putting Kyungsoo in front of Baekhyun? Baekhyun actually has better vocal ability than Kyungsoo. I don't know if it's because Baekhyun's voice is stronge or if Kyungsoo's voice is soft or what but if it's in terms of vocals, it would be Baekhyun. Not saying you're wrong or anything, I'm just surprised by SM's choice. If its in how pleasing the voice is though, I woulds put it: Kyungsoo, then Baekhyun, then Chen. I feel like Chen and Baekhyun have strong voices while Kyungsoo has a soft voice. Even though Chen has the highest notes, I think Kyungsoo and Baekhyun's voices are more soothing and calmer. This is just my opinion though. No to offend anyone, I love EXO and everyone in it, especially my bby Jongdae.

Baek does more sustained notes as he pushes his voice more. Kyungsoo on the other hand doesn't do that much sustained notes and just touches the notes (like hitting it in a vocal run) but he doesn't push notes. I'd say DO is a lot better over all. Not because of vocal ability, but his musicmanship that allows him to make adlibs and runs that fit a song's key.
The line between Baekhyun and DO's vocals aren't really that clear. Baekhyun is just a little inconsistent with hitting notes even in his supported range. DO, on the other hand, has more precision.

There’s a lot of thing that have to be fix with this list... First, baekhyun at 10th?! I really try to calm and say: let’s see who is in the list.. and there I see sungmin.. Sungmin has a very beautiful voice, but baekhyun has the technique.. daaa... and I hope you know how great ryeowook is.. he is the MAIN vocal... and last, this is just my personal taste, but I don’t think changmin would be that high... he really have a high voice but I really feel uncomfortable about that.. and he do that almost in every song they have... it feels like he can crack everytime, even though he’s not... he’s using mix voice too much and if he keep doing that, he can hurt his throat... over all, that’s what I’m thinking... 😂😂

Well I'm no vocalist or vocal teacher but from what I watched and according to specialists top 5 is D.O, jonghyun , Chen, ryeowook, kyuhyun and not only one or 2 vocal teacher a bunch of them said that . And people it's not about your favourite vocalist it's about best technique , stability and things like that if you ask me D.O is my favourite from the 1st minute I heard him sing which is 4-5 years ago ( this list isn't by an expert I think it's by voting or something) .

remember that best vocalists are based on TECHNIQUE, not timbre. timbre is a personal preference so it's based on people's opinion, while technique tends to be more absolute and can be classified and also 'measured'. it's actually nothing if you can hit notes as high as the sky but you strain it. people also have to learn the fact that best vocalists are not based on who sounds better (which of course, relies on your opinion). it's also not based on who belts and hit high notes the best, but you also have to notice the lower register and be good in many aspects. unfortunately, this video only shows the singers hitting high notes, so people only judge them based on their high notes. if this also includes low notes, you dumbass can't deny that kyuhyun rips off all the singers there and also your head. so be smart.
PS: the singers who aren't numbered are the singers who (as i know) are not the main vocalists in their groups, because you know, this video itself is titled "...main vocalists."

Not that I don't love Kyungsoo or that he isn't a good vocalist, because he is, but putting Kyungsoo in front of Baekhyun? Baekhyun actually has better vocal ability than Kyungsoo. I don't know if it's because Baekhyun's voice is stronge or if Kyungsoo's voice is soft or what but if it's in terms of vocals, it would be Baekhyun. Not saying you're wrong or anything, I'm just surprised by SM's choice.
If its in how pleasing the voice is though, I woulds put it: Kyungsoo, then Baekhyun, then Chen. I feel like Chen and Baekhyun have strong voices while Kyungsoo has a soft voice. Even though Chen has the highest notes, I think Kyungsoo and Baekhyun's voices are more soothing and calmer. This is just my opinion though. No to offend anyone, I love EXO and everyone in it, especially my bby Jongdae.

Baek does more sustained notes as he pushes his voice more. Kyungsoo on the other hand doesn't do that much sustained notes and just touches the notes (like hitting it in a vocal run) but he doesn't push notes.
I'd say DO is a lot better over all. Not because of vocal ability, but his musicmanship that allows him to make adlibs and runs that fit a song's key.

The line between Baekhyun and DO's vocals aren't really that clear. Baekhyun is just a little inconsistent with hitting notes even in his supported range. DO, on the other hand, has more precision.
