The fact that Anna blundered mate in 1 and the higher-rated player didn't see it gives me faith in myself 😅
Ikr
Yeah, even i, a 100 elo saw that mate
We all need that faith
@@yalsem You didn't see anything with 5 seconds to play 10 moves.
@@jaymike3302 It was literally mate in 1 with the queen. If you didn't saw, it is not my fault
04:20 : "No, I have a life" ... Destroyed.
Wow. That high speed ending was killer. I will never play at that level
I was just thinking that!!! So impressive to watch at that speed!
This is a beautiful video. Liked it so much I slowed down the player-speed. And Anna is like a whole different experience at a slower speed. Hilarious.
Anna, I’ve learned a lot from you. You rock!
just for someone as slow as me: in the end he moves his rook while in check
thanks for that - i was being ultra dense - I saw the illegal move sign but couldn't suss out why it was illegal (oh dear)
A shrink being insulted at being called a psychologist is one of my favourite coffee chess moments.
Karl, you're not wrong about mocking him being insulted, but if psychology is useless then so is marketing, business degrees, criminology, law.... literally all of those have psych as a base
@@karlwithak. Dude, shrinks are physicians... They are specialists just like cardiologists, ophtalmologists, meaning they are already more than a generalist which is already a high degree ... It's like calling a computer science engineer a technician who repair printers. It's 12 years of study to become a certified psychiatrist, and it is a true medical discipline.
@@karlwithak.Looks like somebody didn’t get into medical school…
@thak. You just have to look the first sentence on wikipedia "A psychiatrist is a physician who specializes in psychiatry" or any definition. What is crazy is that you ignore that. People go to jail, get the death penalty or go to a medical center based on shrink expertise... Which are also medical generalist, you can get treated for general disease at a shrink office if you want...
Maybe you are confusing "psychiatrist" (a physician specialized in psychiatry) with "psychologist" which only require a minor degree
Hi Anna! This isn't related to this specific video, but I wanted to tell you that your cow opening is OP in fog-of-war chess. People keep blundering pieces because they don't expect the knights to be on the B and G files, it's great.
😄
I love it. Have never lost a game with it!
Awesome suspense at the end! Great job with your videos as always!
Bruh when he said “I treat ppl like him” 😂😂💀 2:45
.. guy is in deep thought, Anna is chatting with the crowd... love it.
Talking while playing chess is a streamers talent
That was so enjoyable; the endgame was like watching a guitar solo!
This opponent was very good and a great person as well. It does combine sometimes.
That was great fun and the end speed was insane!
9:25 he missed mate in 1 lmao
Ye, but he had little time to think
Time scrambles OTB are a whole different thing
he is on 0.74 sec , u expect to see m1 , she also missed that queen was hanging
if you spot the possibility a few moves bqck you can do it
Probably let her win for content purposes
I bet the Spanish GM was her dad
Those new silicone rollouts are pretty snazzy. I picked one up the other day with new quad weighted pieces and I’m back to playing over the board all the time. It’s refreshing
Anna i love your sense of humor a little dry but very witty. You hilarious.
you are so Awesome, thank you for these uploads.
Anna's laugh is beautiful and genuine she is non pretentious 🎉
Yes, love it when she laughs for seemingly no reason, or for a reason that she alone knows.
we do not care XD
Anna is so likeable. Her smile and laugh are amazing! Even when she trash talks it's adorable😊
Yes, good game Anna...you won fair and square...:) I am subscribed.
Heel goed gespeeld Anna. Winnaar op meerdere aspecten.
Vind ik ook🎉
I was so confused with the last few moves of the game😂😂
Anna going all berserk in the beginning there lol.
My ear drums exploded after this video
Love all ur videos
"I have a life" said the man.
I might be mistaken , however it looked like he made another move while you had him in check when you both were moving very quick towards the end .
Yep, he knew he was about to lose. Notice how fast he jumped up to get out of there at the end.
@@mpi5850 Notice how he said it's 1-1?. And they rotate to other people. How long was he supposed to sit in the chair after putting the pieces back?
Definitely two moves in a row were made by black near the end.
I could be mistaken but (1) did she forfeit the win she earned by his illegal move by failing to claim the illegality in time BEFOE making her next move, , or (2) is she still allowed to claim a few seconds after they both made more moves and her clock ran out that she won by illegal move at that time so that her clock running out half a second later is irrelevant? I like rule #2, but I am guessing rule #1 applies and he wins.
@@violinjoel He didn't win. He declared her the winner.
Anna, I'd love to see you play the cow opening on coffee chess and to see their reaction when you tell them how you created that opening move =)
it’s opening mooove in cow chess.
You won, and it was so such fun to watch. Chess Princess.
We need a rematch! 💯 I love the energy here. "Still cozy." "Are you sure your king is having a good time?" 😄 It's not really trash-talking, because there's such a good spirited nature from both of the players. Watching how quickly they move, especially toward the end of the match, I feel like a basic calculator admiring the processing power of a high-end computer -- but I don't feel jealousy, it's only inspiration!!
The Excitement. The Determination. Loved it : )
Anna indeed won when she was serious. As prommised.
She deserved to win, too. She was very controlled.
I love how you constantly challenge yet ttill teach
OK, non-chess player here. I only played when I was a kid. It would be good to have a reaction/analysis video of your more challenging opponents. That would be good contact for curious novices.
Queen on e6 was hanging, but she didn’t capture it. Time pressure made her overlook it
I'm not a fan of using the clock for this very reason.
@@TheRealScooterGuy others are fans of using the clock because of this very reason.
But, it really came together @ the end(Anna Won).
More hilariously mate was also hanging on the next move if he took the rook instead of moving his queen out of the way. otb blitz and bullet can be so crazy
@@TQo1 I get that it adds a new dimension to the game, that it adds excitement for observers, and using chess as a metaphor for war (or as a metaphor for anything, really), it adds to that metaphor. I'm just not a fan of playing this way.
Dude, i really couldnt play with people hustling. I would just "you're right... i risign"
Watched the Cow opening video and the first variation would obviously be called the "Udder Variation".
Love your channel Anna
Sorry, I would have a hell of a time concentrating while playing you... Your awesome Anna...
Lol the distaste he had for being called a psychologist!
new to chess here, a dumb question, @9:26 why didn't black queen move to e1 to checkmate white king? do I miss something? (nvm, I understand by reading others comment)
Just like a girl: "Did I win?" OF COURSE YOU WON CUTIE!
That got intense
A fun game. Thanks to you both.
9:25 what a sitation.... haha miss strike for both
classical variation of the Nimzo-Indian. nice
..Dang Anna....That was "CRAZY-FUN".!!!!
Casually blundering mate in 1, but noone sees it :D
Everyone watching this video saw it. It´s easy to spot a backrank checkmate, if you have no time pressure and the column turns completely from totaly white to totally black and back within one second.
@@m.rubland6737 Obviously I meant both players with noone
Shrink keeps adjusting pieces on the board that are even the tiniest bit over the border lines of their squares. This could be used. LOL
Butcher was moving before Anna hitting the clock and Anna flagged first I guess.
I just love her energy
6:50 That look 😆
After seeing the first game on coffeechess, it's nice that you got your revenge in the 2nd game!
Cómo se llama la apertura que hace, veo que la ejecuta con mucha frecuencia
He made an illegal move when he picked two pieces. She should have called him on it.
unless you call it out, it's gonna be legal. That's the setting in coffee chess.
@@awekeningbro1207 pretty sure their rule is that its not against the rules as long as you havent pressed your clock.
I left a comment in another of her videos about castling sooner, rather than later. And here (3:30), that strategy is brought up again. I am no expert, but was taught that castling was better later, to disrupt someone’s strategy and make them have to rethink. And it looks like she used it that way… causing him to wonder why she didn’t castle as soon as possible, like her mother told her to do. And her reply was… that her mom also told her to play good chess. Why does everyone think that castling should be done as soon as possible, instead of as a later disruption of strategy? Or just as a move of safety, but done later… after things develop a bit?
Good point. There are always exceptions to the rules.
If you are safe in the centre, delaying casting can be great, because you wait to see where your opponent commits their pieces first. If you trick them into launching a Kingside attack, for example, then castle long it can be a great set back to them. Of course, nobody likes getting trapped in the centre....
Way too easy and harmful to get trapped in the center with a bishop seeing your back rank or taking a knight check. The right to castle has a "use it or lose it" quality in many ways. But overall I think Anna is right- principles and general rules always play second fiddle to making the right move for the position and "playing good chess"!
A Happy Anna is always a Jewel. I think Anna was like 5Points up when the clocks expired, So Im thinking she won. Would have loved to see how it plays out if she 0-0-0.
Anna, Beat him he deserves it😊
After he castled I would have lined up my queen behind my bishop and sacrificed the bishop to take two pawns to leave his king naked and afraid.
Yeah, but then he would build a shelter, find water, learn to fish and hunt and he would be alright.
@@amieres 😄
Wasnt Qc4 instead Qb5 attacking both knights bettter?
i need to find this chess set some one help. I just love the pawns and the colors
9:40 a normal fellow bullet chess player belike
@2:57
Anna says that she could stop all his plans,
Can someone explain to me what moves she meant
I think Annas clock zeroed out
My mom is a grandmaster in snakes and ladders
COW OPENING IS SO AMAZING ON FOG OF WAR CHESS
7:52 anna could have moved rook to d7 and in next move queen to f7 for mate
He really didn't like losing
Who does?
Great win for Anna, and always enjoyable to see how a good attack pays off!
And i think anna mist 2 opportunities to checkmate
What's the jazz song at the end of the video??
Oh you know just moving my queen somewhere:) not gonna mention how many doors that opens
her not taking the free queen was sad or easy checkmates
7:16 He cheated, he had taken his hand off of the King, so he should have been forced to make that move.
Most people play clock move when playing blitz.
Are there any left-handed chess players? I've only seen players moving pieces and operating the clock with their right hand.
Bro she blundered by not taking the queen and there was a mate in 1 lol
Why'd he stop at only two consecutive moves? Shoulda made at least ten.
Me siento triste le mandé una solicitud en chess porque quería jugarle una partida a Anna y me cancelo la solicitud, quería una oportunidad ya que nunca voy a poder viajar y jugarle presencialmente😢😢😢
At 7:17 he moves his king and Anna asks "Are you sure?" and then he moves it back to move his knight instead, but as far as I know he should have moved his king?
Good game to watch.
@4:16 The mystery of the missing 10 seconds: what illuminati secrets were revealed? 🤔
Make the shrink sweat👏🏻🤣
Watch at 9:47 in 0.25 speed . You will see that he loses the game because she didn’t push her button but his. Than he did not have 0.02 seconds left.😅
This guy has a horrible poker face. Haha. Good game.
Taking no prisoners 💯
You did win. :) His time would've ran out with his accidental illegal move.
I can never tell what happens at the end. I assume the clock ran out as usual.
Yeah, and they counted it as a win for Anna because he made an illegal move right before.
@@sterlingdriggs8806 Yeah I didn't pause it to check all those random moves to avoid losing on time. Some who did are saying both sides missed checkmates in 1 & 3. But of course they can't see anything with no time.
“She’s playing like Botvinnik”
So all that guy has to do is play like Tal.
Seems easy enough.
@9:26 Anna could have taken queen with rook and force a withdrawal couldn't she? Time pressure made the butcher blunder a queen.
I'm sure Pia approves of this game
Who cares?
Anna butchers the Butcher. very nice game. all the while smiling sweetly and doing a bit of trash talking. well done Anna!
@USERNAME)Miss_AnnaCramling what did i win? a game of chess with Anna?
ANNA THE BUTCHER! I like the sound of that.
You can't have that smile and be 'the butcher'.
Is there a book anyone would recommend for chess?
I'm just confused on why you didn't open with the cow???
Play the end in 0.25 mode and you will see that the higher rated won by 0.1 of a second. GG!
So into him...
I don't know anything about chess and don't know what just happened but it was exciting and entertaining!
I see the blunder about the rook
