  • Since it had been 5-6yr since I last hiked this wonderful trail, I decided to hike it again. It was as exciting as I remembered! All 6 of the 'chain of' lakes has its own personality. And the spectacular views of surrounding peaks constantly change as you navigate the 360 degree loop. Highly recommended!

    I enjoy all your videos but rarely comment. I love how informative and scenic they are but more importantly, I enjoy your attitude and outlook on here and FB. Thanks again Joe, it's much appreciated by all of us. Happy Trails!

    Met you on top of Plumbers Peak today Sept 11th. You were full of wonderful information about local hikes! Way to go on hiking all the amazing trials in Washington. Also big thanks for all your work keeping our trials cleared!

    Beautiful trail. Can't wait to do this one again soon! One of favorite views is being able to see both Baker and Shuksan from Herman Saddle.

    Hey Joe, also Joe here! My wife and I did this hike the weekend after you on the 14th after being inspired by this video. We love watching your hikes and love your positive demeanor and passion for the outdoors.
    Maybe we’ll run into you on the trails someday :) we’re out in the mountains almost every weekend.

    Missing this hike from BC! Was hoping to make it down there this year but looks like it won’t happen.

    Thanks for sharing this! This is such a beautiful video. May I please know what time you started your hike?

      Shortly after dawn - setting up my tripod dozens of times for video clips adds hours to my hikes.

    Hello joe. Watch your videos all the time. Coming out to WA this summer 2022. Do you think they will have artist point road repaired by then (late july). ..

    Great video, Joe! About how long was this hike for you? Adding it to my 'to do' list!

      I honestly don’t know. I stop up to 30x per mile for video clips and like to spend 1-2 hours sitting enjoying the best views. ‘All day’ is my best answer…

      I think you need a permit to overnight - I have seen tents at the lakes

    Where do I pay for parking? Do you pay at the trailhead parking lot?

    • @HikingInMemoryOfHeidi
      @HikingInMemoryOfHeidi  Год назад +1

      I think there is a pay station at heather meadows. Also a USFS visitor center in Glacier, Wa, last town before the trailhead.
