I agree about doing this loop counter-clockwise. You get the worst of the climbing and descending out of the way while you've still got energy and before the daytime heat builds up, and can cruise through the last couple of miles with relative ease.
Hi there! The 1st time I went the weather wasn't very good. It was nasty rainy and wet. I went counterclockwise and started the Bagley Lake. the 2nd time I went I started the information centre took the Goaz trail to the Artist Point clockwise. the weather was nice and clear day much enjoyable. Thanks for the video.
Thanks for the video! We are doing this same loop on Oct 6 of 2023! I hope we get the same nice weather. Your doggies are so cute! I’m from sea level (florida) so I’m training now to be able to handle the elevation. What are some of your must have on trail? What time did you begin and end?

We started around 7:30am
must haves would be water and sunscreen(spf 50 or higher) and salty snacks
