You're the first reactor who referred to Caccini right off the bat. I was blessed to attend this concert. As soon as he stopped singing I sent his teacher a message and asked about this arrangement, and he also said Caccini.
I love the Caccini/Vavilov version - I have some history with it! So it's what I think of when I hear Ave Maria. Then, hearing Igor's version, it became obvious it was the basis for this composition; or at least for part of it! I'm glad you got to attend this concert - I'm sure it was wonderful!
Thank you, Sir. For years I've searched for a reactor that: - Objectively knows music theory and explains it well, without being cold and emotionless (I've watched countless reactions by people breaking down chord progressions, key changes, sound engineering and whatnot, without reacting as a person) - Subjectively actually reacts, sharing their individuality, without being overly dramatic and theatrical (tearing down the curtains and eating the carpet screaming, without having a clue about music theory) You're that person. Subscribed of course and am looking forward to discovering your other reactions. Thank you again.
Dimash is 29 this year. Even though he's been singing/training and performing since the age of five, I saw a short video of him working with a vocal coach to make sure he perfected the somewhat difficult technique for the last two notes. Simply Amazing. He worked with Igor, asking him to create an Ave Maria for him. The original being a Christian song, he wanted his version to be for everyone, no matter their faith or beliefs.
Thank you for this review. What I found unique is Dimash wanted to reach all religious people. Muslim Dimash and Jewish Igor collaborated on a Christian Catholic hymn done as vocalize. This is how Dimash views humanity and as you can hear, he is a divine gift to all of us. I have heard this video probably over 250 times and it still captivates me. Enjoy your journey.
Mother Mary was Jewish, as was Jesus, Mary is respected with reverence in the Muslim faith, & Ave Maria while most notably used as a catholic hymn is far more than that. I always see this comment, but I’ve never heard of any of these thoughts actually being attributed to anything Dimash or Igor has said about it? Please let me know if you can direct me to any interview or anything that does.. I think the sentiments you speak of are nice, but at the same time perhaps not entirely accurate for the above reasons. I say this in part because I myself had no idea the Muslim faith recognized Mary in this way before someone educated me.
@@lolawants2008 It is the symbolism and the gathering together I was referring to. Starting with Abraham there is so much crossover into the origination of the most profound religions. @@stevepierce1238 oh I’m far from literate on this subject. Many dears commented and I’ve tried to learn is all. Agree on the togetherness, Dimash’s ultimate goal it seems. This song is another level. Take care
Igor wrote about the creation of this on his Instagram. 😊 "One evening, about three months before the "New Wave", Dimash called me and asked if I could write "Ave Maria " for him, explaining that he wanted to sing something in that style... Coincidentally I had a free evening and I gladly sat down at the piano and, remembering the Italian formula of responsibility, worked with inspiration until I achieved the desired result. . . After taking a few days for the composition to "rest" in my ears, soul, and heart, I sent it to Dimash, who literally within half an hour answered that it was exactly what he wanted to hear. And of course, the reception and applause given to Dimash by the audience at the "New Wave" show what happiness it is to do what I love, to write for such a genius singer, to evoke deep emotion in the audience, and to be in demand... Just a short essay on " What is happiness?"
Can anyone now say they've never heard an angel sing? Most interesting is that his name, translated to English, is "gift from God", or "God given". I believe either one. We are indeed blessed to be alive and able to hear such a musical talent. As usual, the choir is amazing, as is his backing musicians. The "vocalise" technique has never before done better.

Every time I listen to Dimash's angelic voice singing Ave Maria I think he might be the human equivalent of the Amazonian bird called uirapuru. Yes, Sir combines extremely knowledgeable objective analysis with heartwarming subjective reaction: an exceptional combination. He's a true gem, that I'm thrilled to have discovered!
Dimash spends lot's of time lately in Budapest, where he is special judge among P Domingo on an youth international classical music contests, anf he recorded this song there with the leading chello player. Byw, he will have a concert there in May.
For me it is like a prayer for the world that everyone can understand, therefore there is no text in this version of "Ave Maria". Dimash sends a message of peace and love to the whole world without using words! The New Wave Festival began its history in 2002 and for many years has become one of the most important musical events not only for Russia, but for the entire creative world. The TV audience of "Nowa Wave" is over 200 million people. In 2021, Dimash was one of the jurors and sang 3 songs as a guest "Ave Maria";"Stranger";and "Fly Away" Igor Krutoy (composer and friend of Dimash) revealed the creation of the composition "Ave Maria" for Dimash, a composition that is included in the new album (music. I. Krutoy). Igor Krutoy's words: " Italians like to say that each composer is worth exactly as much as his last work, that is, all the successes and achievements so far do not count ... and now) and I started to perceive my new compositions through the prism of Italians ... One evening, about three months before "New Wave", Dimash called and asked if I could write "Ave Maria" for him, explaining it by wanting to sing something like that ... remembering the Italian formula of responsibility, I worked with inspiration until I achieved the desired result ... Taking a few days for the composition to "pour out" in my ears, soul and heart and I sent it to Dimash, who literally within half an hour replied that it was exactly what he wanted to hear. And of course the reception and the standing ovation that the audience gave Dimash on "New Wave" speak of how lucky it is to do what you love, write for such a singer with a brilliant sense of music, evoke deep emotions in the audience and be desired. .. Well just an essay on "What is happiness?" ... Since this stunning performance, certain reactors have spent our precious time arguing "this isn't Ave Maria!" Thank you for providing an expert reaction; how refreshing! You will probably be interested to see/hear Dimash's own composition, El Amor en Ti (his first song in Spanish, Almaty, 2022) soon! ❤❤
Isn't it amazing that every time you see a new song from Dimash He really does amaze even though you're prepared.... And you're more prepared than the average bloke. You have very good insight into the song as well as admiration and the jaw-dropping that we love. 😮😂
This speaks to his statements of humanity. An example of harmony of cultures by way of a single vowel written by a Jewish composer sung by a Muslim of a classic Christian song. All of this is intentional. They are made for each other
I've watched so many Dimash reactors over the years & you are are among the very best..... Everything we see and hear is the result of colossal conscious work. The artist has revealed to us what we can enjoy from now on. From time to time, they are messengers of the Universe, reminding us how limitless our possibilities are.❤
I just love your knowledge that uncovers depths and meanings of Dimash's performances and Igor's intentions in his compositions. Your insight is rather unique in the world of Dimash reactors. Also, the 'Ah' sound in Hebrew is the sound of the letter 'Aleph', which represents God. So, actually the 'lyrics' are very deep.

Thank you. Dimash asked Igor Krutoy to compose this for him and he did. It is a new composition. Dimash is Muslim and Igor is Jewish, so this is not a Christian composition, but instead it is for everyone. It is gorgeous and Dimash's vocal skills are stunning. It is like he channeled the angels. I was hoping that you would do this one. I truly appreciate your reactions and analysis. 'Ethereal' is a perfect word to describe Dimash's singing. I loved you giving an example with your voice over his to help us understand what you are saying. :)
That last exquisite note pierces my soul. Every. Single. Time. Important to note is that Dimash wanted the song written with only vocalizations to make the message universal. It’s obviously an intensely spiritual song with the soaring high notes invoking angels. With the title it connects to the divine feminine.
I have heard that Igor did base his Ave Marria in part, Caccini's version. Dimash called Igor two weeks before this performance and told him what he wanted. The maestro said he felt some pressure concerning but told himself he could do it, and so he did.
Notice at the beginning when Dimash is getting ready to sing you hear the heartbeat slowing down before stopping then Dimash sings its like the passing of life to be greeted by the angels. To me this is the closest you will get to heaven without going there. Even though this isn't the Catholic Prayer version it still gets the message across beautifully
Thank you for your professional analysis. Again I learned something new about music I never heard of before. I missed to mention it the last time but now I will do: You have a beautiful voice too, absolutely pleasant to listen to.
I was told it was after Franz Schubert, but I appreciate being set straight. As a non musical student, your analysis and explanations are highly educational and interesting. Kudos. You still got Dimashified 😂
Yeah I don't see musical similarities between the Schubert version and this one! Thanks for your comment 🙌 And I sense Dimashifications will become a regular occurrence here 😅
Thank you for sharing your lovely voice with us. Thank you for the explanation of the similarities to the other versions of Ave Maria. Igor dis su ha wonderful version for Dimash, and I believe Dimash also may have had some input in the song. AND, WHO NEEDS WORDS, when Dimash is vocalizing a MASTERPIECE! 👼
Wow, I can imagine what a happiness it was for Igor and Dimash to meet each other. Igor is a genuine composer and such singers as Dimash are immense source of inspiration for such people. Likewise, Dimash is happy to have such a "second Father" to him, who is able to considerately gift him such great presents, as such songs which fill his heart with happiness and allow him to expose his talents to the full, while making other people happy as well.
Thank you!! I must say , you really are a special reactor to Dimash. I am learning some interesting things from you. 🌹🌹🌹🙌🙌🙌❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥🔥🔥🔥🌟🌟🌟💥💥💥🙏🙏🙏💯💯💯❤️🔥🌹❤️🔥
Great reaction, thanks SH. My favorite version of Caccini's Ave Maria is by Inessa Galante. Do you have a favorite? It's incredibly masterful of Dimash to sing Ave Maria on just one syllable!! He is so gifted and amazing. I read somewhere that the peculiar sounds at beginning and end are sounds recorded from space. ❤ from the Netherlands.
Thanks, I'm listening to Inessa's Ave Maria right now as I type this! I don't have a favourite. But the one I used in the video above is by a countertenor called Daniel Taylor - I don't know why but I'm just particularly fond of that recording
Yes! I'm extremely familiar with many countertenors and have heard numerous countertenor performances of Caccini's Ave Maria, but for some reason it's his I like the most! @@Елена-д5у8м
@@SirHairless Thanks for your response. I just listened to Daniel Taylor's version. It is also beautiful, almost like a 'unplugged version' of the song. Very soothing. And it might seem silly, but I do hear Igor's arrangement better through Daniel's version than Inessa's. But the latter is imho more my taste. More dramatic in the arrangement :-). Thanks so much! And to all the comments in this thread too - appreciate you all 🙏

Dimash spends lot's of time lately in Budapest, where he is special judge among P Domingo on an youth international classical music contests, anf he recorded this song there with the leading chello player. Byw, he will have a concert there in May.
The clip, a fragment of Ave Maria with Dimash and Cellist Hauser, has already had more than ten million views! ❤
Angel's voice. It doesn't need lyrics to be a beautiful song. Yes, I agree with what you said. Thanks for your reaction ❤
🙏
What an intelligent reaction. I m learning so much from this. I hope you never stop reacting to Dimash.
I'll keep going for as long as there is content out there!
@@SirHairless no worries about that. There are so many great songs by him, just tonight he premiered two new ones.
In 2021, Dimash was one of the jurors and sang 3 songs as a guest "Ave Maria";"Stranger";and "Fly Away"
Igor Krutoy (composer and friend of Dimash) revealed the creation of the composition "Ave Maria" for Dimash, a composition that is included in the new album
(music. I. Krutoy).
Igor Krutoy's words:
" Italians like to say that each composer is worth exactly as much as his last work, that is, all the successes and achievements so far do not count ... and now) and I started to perceive my new compositions through the prism of Italians ...

Loved your educational reaction and especially when you sang along. The match up of the melody snippet with Dimash made me tear up. Thank you.
I'm so happy to hear it! ( I hope you weren't crying out of pain because it sounded so bad 😂)
Dimash is really outstanding! But seeing an enthusiastic reaction with a rich music lesson is rare as well! 😊 Thank you!

Incredible performance by maestro Dimash ❤❤❤
I have been truly enjoying your analysis of Dimash, Sir! Thank you.

Dimash voce unica al mondo 🌏 ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
To me this is a Dimash original that is incomparable by any other. He puts me in a peaceful dreamlike state as if an angel is guiding me make peace with my unsettling emotions.
Thank you! El Amor en Ti is on my list 👌
Es un himno para el alma y solo Dimash lo puede hacer!
Un gusto compartir con usted ❤

The story of the sky !!! sa chanson la plus époustouflante écrite par lui même durant le covid !^^lol^^
Please, watch his movie first, then live performance, you'll see why.
Isn't it amazing that every time you see a new song from Dimash He really does amaze even though you're prepared.... And you're more prepared than the average bloke. You have very good insight into the song as well as admiration and the jaw-dropping that we love. 😮😂
Exactly! Thanks 🙌
the way he uses his body to self-conduct as well as use his diaphragm is indescriable.
This speaks to his statements of humanity. An example of harmony of cultures by way of a single vowel written by a Jewish composer sung by a Muslim of a classic Christian song. All of this is intentional. They are made for each other
The story of one sky live version. It'll be the most insane experience.
Movie first, then live performance. Please.

I've watched so many Dimash reactors over the years & you are are among the very best..... I enjoy the structure of your content - it's clear you put a lot of thought & work into the arrangement of your thoughts w/ the performance..... It's just a superbly tight organization of content.... You have an absolute Gift for Instruction..... Thanks SH - sublime analysis as always
Wow, cheers! Appreciate the support 🤝
Honestly, I watch some new Dimash reactions every couple of months, loving people's reactions.
Real reactions are getting thin though.
I've binged all SH's Dumash reactions now.
Love it! The obvious expertise, generally pleasant demeanor and apparent joy expressed while listening to this, makes it a joy to watch!

❤❤Thank you from Italy Sir, great reaction for great artist.
When I listen to it, I have a picture in my mind of dolphins frolicking in the waves, calling to each other in their dolphin, beautiful, cosmic language... Miracles are what we think they are. Everything we see and hear is the result of colossal conscious work. The artist has revealed to us what we can enjoy from now on. From time to time, they are messengers of the Universe, reminding us how limitless our possibilities are.❤

Thank you so much for a full description of Dimash's Amazing Song!
Dimash Kudaibergen, Magistral 👏👏👏👏❤️
Thank you for your very educated and professional analysis of Dimash's Ave Maria. This is the first time after prof.Georgievsky's analysis of Ave Maria by Dimash over a year ago that I experience a true intellectual delight, listening to you! Thank you once again, Merry Christmas, all the best to you and your family, may your wishes come true, I'll stay tuned for new encounters with you 💖🌟🤗🎄

It is such a pleasure to watch your reactions. Maybe because unlike a lot of reactors, you actually understand the music, the dynamics, and the performance. By the way there is a clip of Dimash singing Queen of the Night. Please react to his performance of Passione.🎶🎶

THANKS for your reactions to Dimash!!!!……. Ave Maria by Igor Krutoy for Dimash….more perfect and surprises us once again, sweet voice and with high notes of madness, he gives us a piece of his soul every time he sings with beautiful modulations, choirs and impressive music, a three Key changes and a beautiful in crescendo (Messa di voce) at the end (F6)… saludos desde México….👏🏻❤️🇲🇽🇰🇿
🙏👋
Blimey, indeed. :)
Thank you, Sir. For years I've searched for a reactor that:
- Objectively knows music theory and explains it well, without being cold and emotionless (I've watched countless reactions by people breaking down chord progressions, key changes, sound engineering and whatnot, without reacting as a person)
- Subjectively actually reacts, sharing their individuality, without being overly dramatic and theatrical (tearing down the curtains and eating the carpet screaming, without having a clue about music theory)
You're that person. Subscribed of course and am looking forward to discovering your other reactions. Thank you again.
Wow, thank you (again haha)! That is extremely gracious of you to say
@@SirHairless You're most welcome and thank you for your quick replies (yes, I posted my compliment under your pinned comment too, to be sure you saw it 😊). Cheers 🎶

Hola! Espero estés muy bien. Gracias por tu reacción y explicación, ésta versión del Ave María interpretada con tanto respeto por el queridísimo Dimash te traslada a lo profundo del alma por lo menos así lo vivo yo. I really love your reactions to Dimadh , you take the time to analyze each part really appreciateit
Thank you! Glad you're enjoying
Thank you!
Dimash has been given the gift of a voice of heaven.❤
That last exquisite note pierces my soul. Every. Single. Time.
Important to note is that Dimash wanted the song written with only vocalizations to make the message universal. It’s obviously an intensely spiritual song with the soaring high notes invoking angels. With the title it connects to the divine feminine.
I have heard that Igor did base his Ave Marria in part, Caccini's version.
Dimash called Igor two weeks before this performance and told him what he wanted.
The maestro said he felt some pressure concerning but told himself he could do it, and so he did.
Спасибо! Ценно слушать разбор от профессионала. И очень полезно.
С наступающими Рождеством и Новым годом! Благословений! 🙏
Thank you and Merry Christmas!
🙏
Thank you for your professional analysis. Again I learned something new about music I never heard of before.
I missed to mention it the last time but now I will do: You have a beautiful voice too, absolutely pleasant to listen to.
Thank you so much 🙏
I was told it was after Franz Schubert, but I appreciate being set straight. As a non musical student, your analysis and explanations are highly educational and interesting. Kudos. You still got Dimashified 😂
Yeah I don't see musical similarities between the Schubert version and this one! Thanks for your comment 🙌 And I sense Dimashifications will become a regular occurrence here 😅
So, jetzt fühle ich mich so leicht und frei, dass es angenehme Träume werden 😇☺️
Thank you again! Always love your explanations!

Nice to hear a reactor that knows what he is talking about...Dimash will give u plenty of material
Your singing overlap was perfect. It could be AVE MARIA #2. Thank you SIR for not just an educational but enlightening theoretical analysis. So good.❤
Thanks! 🙏
Definitely sounds like angels singing !
Thank you for your great and educational reaction to Dimas. Happy Holidays. ❤️☮️

AMAZING AGAIN THE VOICE FROM ANOTHER WORLD/ AND SIR HAIRLESS AS SUCH A HUGE KNOWLEDGE THAT I APRECIATE.
Bravo❤❤👏👏👏❤️❤️🌺🌺🌺
Cheers from the Netherlands.
@@Елена-д5у8м I will also listnen to Cecilia Bartoli's rendition. You can never have to much Ave Maria these holiday's!
There are no words as to make the message Universal
Thank you, Love Dimash!!
Could you please do a reaction to KNOW. It’s a Vocalize. 🤩👍🇨🇦
It's on my list for the future!
