It is Igors sister besides him. She persuaded Igor to go watch this .. and after D's performance the two started working together (some say that Igor skipped retirement to work with Dimash) .. Btw often Dimash just let a hand shake be the contract of doing a job together

Most Dimash fans see Hundreds of diff reactors but you are among the best b/c it's rare someone can break down the Vocals & the Chord Progressions & instrumentation - High level analysis worthy of Dimash's Virtuoso performances - Bravo!

My absolute top recommendation for you would be Ikanaide, from the Tokyo Jazz Festival. I feel like it's Dimash's grand-masterpiece. It's the most nuanced, intricate, emotion-inundated performance I've ever seen, of anything. A master-class in conveying emotion and telling a story in a language that not only do I not understand... but neither does he.
The composer originally sang it himself, not trusting anyone else with the emotion. The title (said EE-kah-NAH-ee-DAY), which means "Please don't go," is sung many, many times, and every single one is meant to be with a different emotion and connotation, and the composer said that Dimash did it even better than he did.

@@ordinaryvalleyDimash adds a lot to the arrangements from himself, sings as he feels the musical material, actually turning it into personal. In addition, his friend and music producer Erlan Bekchurin participates in many arrangements. But Dimash was self-willed from childhood and sang as his soul felt.

For those who like information about Dimas' songs:
Sinful Passion - The story behind this song is very interesting: The band that accompanies Dimash is the same one that composed the song, without the singer who died after a heart attack! The band is also from Kazakhstan and this performance by Dimash revitalized the song. Moreover, in the final part he added, with an oriental technique (from the Kazakhstan region). The song was originally performed in 1998 and the band name is A'Studio (Kazakh pop music group based in Russia, "Alma-Ata Studio", Almaty city). The dead singer (who Dimash was a fan of) left the band in 2000 and passed away in 2015 and his name was Batyrkhan Shukenov. The lyrics are by the poetess Ilia Reznik together with Baigaly Serkebayev, who is the long-haired keyboardist, who we see in the video that accompanies Dimash.
    Hugs from Brazil!

Western music is constructed on the tone and half-tone. In the folkloric passages in this performance and in "Stranger," Dimash demonstrates his level of comfort and his skill with quarter-tone music, readily found in Middle-Eastern and Indian music. I'm sure other cultures are utilizing quarter-tone music, but those are the two with which I am most familiar.

    • @SirHairless
      @SirHairless  11 месяцев назад +15

Very interesting point! Quarter-tones are a tricky area because of tuning and the frequencies. Equal temperament has a very interesting history - here's an example of music from the 16th century making use of a 24-tone octave which I think is quite cool ruclips.net/video/0akGtDPVRxk/видео.html

Dimash’ performances can not be explained as simple ranges or techniques of the singing skill. His idea of performance in the message for the listeners, could be love, passion, peace…..and he uses his limitless arsenal of methods to deliver those messages. His aesthetics and skills of performance and a stage presence used for this purpose. It is why when people ask him how many octaves can he takes he is kind of surprised, because it is not what he wants listeners to get from his performances. Emotions are what he is looking for….❤

It seems you haven't reacted to Kim So Hyang yet, and you absolutely should. She's a Korean singer who sings mostly soul/gospel, and has an absolutely incredible voice. Despite having had many offers and opportunities, she opted not to get into the music industry as an internationally renowned singer. She sings instead as a way of bringing people comfort. This is because she is a cancer survivor and a devout Christian. She was left unable to conceive a child as a result of her cancer, and so she felt that her life's goal now is to use her gift to bring comfort to those in need just as music and her faith gave her comfort in her time of need.
Her rendition of Bridge Over Troubled Water is incredible, and her most iconic performance is of a song called Arirang Alone, which is a modern variation of an old folk song. The theme is always of love and separation from that love, often involving tragedy. The modern version she sings speaks to the separation of North and South Korea, and the song is seen as a sort of unofficial national anthem on Korea.

Yes, the precision of that crazy long complex run at the end... { Had everyone on the edge of their seats - shouting at their screens; " Breath Man! BREATH!!!" 🤣 } I believe this was the first Dimash performance that Igor Krutoy saw and immediately during /after decided to compose for this unique voice. He has written new works and rearranged older works, both his own compositions and a number of others in collaboration with Dimash.
Dimash's voice and precision techniques are always impressive, but what I REALLY Enjoy is watching so many people from so many extremely DIVERSE cultures, ethnicities, backgrounds, age groups, and genre preferences etc.- sit up and 'react'.
Aside from the regular jaw-drops, the comment I hear so often is; " I didn't know I'd like THIS kind of music!" Dimash clearly has a number of motivations driving his creative choices, not the least of which are his anti-war and humanitarian messages, but his original goal of bringing classical / contemporay cross-over music 'to the masses' I think is really having 'cut-through'. 😅😊

As a mucisian you really should watch "River of Love" Totally instrumental...Dimash on the Dombra, and his friend and the composer of this beautiful piece on the keyboard. Dimash plays several instruments. Infact, his very first award was for piano, when he was 6. Then for a composition of his own, You will see why Dimash has a Master's Degree in Composition, watch "El Amor en Ti". Dimash composed this song for his Spanish speaking Dears. I am enjoying watching you discover Dimash.

Dimash comes also with Diana Ankudinova in the package. 😂 Please listen Rechenka. After the contest where she sang Rechenka Igor Krutoy brought her in Moscow with her mother in order to have her close. She was 14 years of age. So, Diana is a pupil of Igor. He can not retire with such talents around him, not only Dimash.

Dimash is the best singer in the WORLD and there are no doubts about that, his voice is a prodigy of nature and a genetic marvel since his parents are two glories of singing from Kazakhstan since he was 5 years old, he sings publicly and has more than twenty years of lyrical training and graduated from the university of music, he is a singer, composer, arranger and multi instrumentalist, he plays more than seven musical instruments and sings in more than twelve(12) languages, he is also a great performer and a great artist who lives and feels music He is not an imitator of voices , Dimash has his own style and is one of the forerunners of the "POPera" he also has a very pleasant, HUMBLE and simple personality, easy access, which makes it very easy to follow, he always travels with His family and friends is a very educated person and an example to follow, he has become known for his musical talent not for getting into trouble or scandals, It has a very wide vocal range of approximately 7 octaves ,he is a singer with a wide vocal range very versatile is Baritone, TENOR , Soprano, counter TENOR, mezasoprano, everything at the same time is how to have 5 singers in one, it has a male and female voice, also many resources such as vibrato, "melismas", falsetto, Staccato, whistle tone, reaching a( D8 )live "Outside of Piano"at the concert of Gakku in an unforgettable day, at his young age he continues to improve and grow musically to perfection, he has a good physical presence he measures 191 cm or 6 "3", he is very famous and recognized in Asia and now he is becoming known In Europe and America, ALL their songs are spectacular, it always goes from low to high, soft to spectacular at the end, in my almost half a century of life I never heard so much quality and it is the hope of continuity of the classical genre because all the old tenors have already Almost all of them died and Dimash can sing like them but none of them can sing like Dimash, being a Man he sings better than any Tenor and his female voice is superior to that of any average Soprano, greetings and a hug from USA 🇺🇸 "Dears" Forever ❤️ Sorry for copying and pasting my informative comment in ALL the Video reactions to Dimash what I see but I do it with the intention of sharing information about him and what I think that in the music industry there are many artists who have been successful and have no talent and are bad people and they do not set a good example for the youth, Dimash and his music deserve to triumph in America, Europe and the whole WORLD, do you want to have already read my comment please come by without problem there is always someone who for the first time knows this information and I won't get tired of sharing it with all my friends"Dear" around the world, thanks for reading and for supporting Dimash 🙏🏻S.O.S.
