Even though I'm 11, I worry I'll never find the one. I worry I'll end up lonely and single for my whole life. I'm a total weirdo, literally you can ask anyone who knows me. I had begun to think of giving up on looking. And then,my grandfather passed away. And a young man had come to help us with the house who knew him, and we got to know each other he had already given up on being with anyone. And now it's been nearly 5 years and two beautiful girls later. I would have never though we'd both find love again until we met.

Even though I'm 11, I worry I'll never find the one. I worry I'll end up lonely and single for my whole life. I'm a total weirdo, literally you can ask anyone who knows me. I don't look like other girls. I don't fit in with most people at my school. I know, I sound real stupid and silly right now. But I do worry I'm TO different for someone to ever like me in that special way. This song helps me reassure myself. I know a lot of people total think I'm a stupid and complain to much. But I can't help but worry. Especially when your one of the only girl that hasn't kissed a boy. Like ever girl in my grade has dated or kissed a guy. Everyone talks about stuff like that. It makes me feel like I have to change to find that person. Like the only way boys will like me, is by being what they want me to be, what the other girls are. I know I have a long time to find "The One". I just fear I'm gonna have to change myself into another person just for people to like me. Oh well. I'm not gonna be a a little bug anymore. I'm probably sounding like a brat right now. Probably the reason I don't really have many friends. One last thing... Reba is awesome! You rule Reba! That is all. ❇
Your way too young to worry about such things live your life find happiness in the small things then worry about the big things when the time comes for all you know someone likes you in all of your weirdness

You'll find your someone special some day! Right now, you need to live your life for YOU! Go to school and concentrate on your education and your career! When you can be independent and totally self sufficient, then worry about that special someone! You have to be able to stand on your OWN two feet first! Men/women are a dime a dozen, take care of YOU first!
Wow we sound like the same person! I'm 14 and I always have a fear of never meeting anyone. I'm chubby and not the prettiest girl in school. And I am incredibly weird! My friends even tell me that I am so awkward and crazy. But I've learned over the past few years that as long as I love myself, someone will love me. There's nothing hotter than confidence!
Tina is 100% correct worry about yourself and don't lose yourself for someone else when you actually find someone. Right now school should be your number one priority to worry about. Unique people are usually considered weird and not normal you are yourself love it and embrace it.
This song is special. It doesn't demean the reality of singleness, instead it honors the idea of waiting yet watching with a discerning eye. It's one thing to be attracted, quite another to get to know that person and setting boundries. That way nothing get's skiped and the seriousness of commitment can fully be experienced and not used/abused. Like it says on the 90's version of Sabrina: "You seem embarrassed by loneliness. Love her songs most all bring a tear to my eyes even her happy ones, Reba is the best, it's been fun to watch her songs progress through the years they stared out about women being cheated on and stand by their men then to women taking control of the situation and most recently people falling in love every song to me is a hit love all their stories.She will always be my favorite country singer.
