- An unexploded Nazi-era bomb has been successfully removed from a home in England.
A man building an extension for his daughter discovered the device in Plymouth.
The discovery led to one of the largest evacuations in the UK since World War Two.
The 500-kilogram Nazi bomb was driven slowly through the streets of Plymouth.
It was then taken out to sea for disposal.
Police are currently looking for a 104 year old Luftwaffe pilot to help with their enquiries
Well if it had exploded they wouldn't have been able to remove it from the home because there would be no home to remove it from
took it offshore to give our sub something reliable
Or maybe sold on the B.M to Hahahahaha mas.
Waa it Mark felton's house
This is illustrative of civilisation. The life of every single person matters so much that no expense is spared to remove real and present danger, if possible.
Another good argument for quarantine like interruption of normal free association and free access to all public spaces. Small inconvenience, big reward.
what about removing dangerous groups such as Ns?
A German Bomb .
Did Derick & Clive find it inside Jane Mansfield?

😊
That truck driver is a wildman....or maybe they didn't tell him what was in the back of the truck.
Not insured.
The home owners was
Hmmm… imagine if that happened again?
Wouldn't it be possible to know where unexploded bombs are by the chartering of bombing runs during the war?
If you knew the exact flight path of every single plane, the exact height, and release point of every single bomb, and whether or not every single bomb exploded, and could get hold of Dr. Sheldon Cooper to do the math.
lol alot of it was eyeballed no way of finding them and infrastructure has shifted over the decades
Just a simple equation
No .
they didnt need to evacuate 100% of those homes. seems theyre doing macro and not micro
Maybe not but better safe than sorry. I pretty sure i recall in Exeter they didn't evacuate enough homes and people were injured
