Absolutely loved this. I'm returning months later with a comment I thought to silly to write. I lived in a suburb called Blackwood for my entire childhood & my family still lives there. We are in Adelaide Australia, dubbed with the dubious moniker of 'serial killer capital of the world'. I can tell you, that dreadful creepy things happen happen here. Monsters are real. Great film.

this was a long short , to be honest i had to watch in stages ,i didnt fast forward thru , because i wanted to see why it won a award . i liked the black n white it makes ir easier to set a mood ,plain things become creepy in black n white .dialogue between actors dragged , much of it was dead pan lacking emotion , some felt lines were read and and nor well. stiff bodies . the dialogue between the 2 brothers was emotionless . a lot o the shots of thomas walking . could have been used to explain the plot , i got he had no car , so a group o kids killed another kid and kept it secret . those kids had kids all having the same dream at 10 , i guess that was how old the kid was when murdered . some supernatural in the dreams and im guessing by dennis action and voice he was possessed . revenge . i know this was low budget . and family n friends in the film . when dialogue is used instead of flash back scenes , the dialogue needs to run smoothly and seem real , emotion ,movement there is a lot good in this film ,
Take note everyone this is what real movies look and sound like before adding all the "special effects" garbage to movies. I also appreciate the pacing and the slow burn to the climax. Honestly kids today have no patience.
A very boring movie. No rythme, nothing! Such a bad acting from each of them… The only original thing is this good choice of black and white. But that bri nothing to the story. A real disappointment!
This is a very compelling, complex movie. I never really understood behind the meanings of a certain sets of dreams especially when it involves something in mysterious circumstances. And that everyone involved seemed to be connected to one dream with a frightening, mysterious figure especially when it started with each individuals at age 10. And then, the puzzle gets deeper when one young man receives a mysterious envelope containing of several articles about some real concerning events that happened, and especially some crude photos of students and some interesting mysteries behind each students being shown in a photo. It's almost as frightening like a Nancy Drew detective story that takes real skills for one to figure out the clues behind every scenes, every dreams of every individuals who are involved whether they like it or not.

The therapist sounds like she's reading from a script. I can see some interesting aspects of this film but still fail to understand what's so spectacular about it...B&W, cool but not original, camera perspectives creative, acting feels labored... To each, their own, I guess. :)

You’re not crazy at all haha, yes there’s two versions, I consider this one the “final cut” I suppose, and it does include a few extra minutes of footage that were cut from the color version!

I'm so confused about the ending to this movie. So, apparently Dennis was possessed by the boy that Thomas's mother killed years ago before any of them were even born, okay I get that, what I don't understand is how the spirit of the dead boy thought that by killing these teens he would get his revenge? Or closure? The ones that actually killed him are still running around free and the police have no idea what happened in any of this so...does anybody understand why I'm co fused? The movie was progressing really well and I was really hooked until the possessed Dennis began killing and the reason he gave Thomas did not make sense. Then it ended leaving you thinking " what the heck just happened and why?".

Well shot film but the acting is awful. Like a dinner party full of boring people that secretly hate each other. No life, no feeling, unnatural dialogue and some sound issues. Learn to edit. Direct your cast. Never star in you own films again. But like I said...well shot and and good site scouting. Keep it up though. At least you had the the passion and guts to make a feature film. hi , Bombay India big bore, story is nothing not more than some talk of dreams, cameraman if showing eyes of artist, camera was put on the eyes for 30 seconds, shivering hands shot for 25 second, artist sleeping on bed camera set there for 30 seconds , Thomas walking in wood 40 second, car driving 30 second, half of movie gone wasted and uselessly increase movie time to 2 hours. I think may be necessary to get awards
Extremely low paced, too much dialog, a little bit of drama, but it's difficult to follow the plot when it's too slow. I fell asleep. Really, how can anyone enjoy or get thrilled by something at a slug's pace and with a mediocre end? 'Young, Always,' it should've been called 'Black and White Movie'. Not much to do with the title. This short film reminds me of Who's Afraid of Virginia Wolf, a classic film but just another mediocre movie with an incoherent title.
