The Neighbor Was Strange To Begin With. The Little Girl Saying "Come Down Here And Find Me." My Initial Reaction Oh, Hell No!
I would’ve knocked that old lady over and told the cops! 😂 But that wasn’t in the script!!! 😂 Awesome film! I hope to see more! ❤
Yeah she froze too long looking at the old lady, i would have run up those stairs so fast . This was so creepy and terrifying .

Just entered into the world of horror short films. Only aware of this channel and alter. But recommendations on replys helped me!!
This was so good but very dark, deep, sad, tragic and unbelievably shocking when you find out what the storyline is to this film. It actually enraged me and made me so sad because (not this exact type of scenario in particular) but other stuff involving certain topics with children (if you know what I mean) happen every day to children all over the world at any given moment. The lead actress was amazing, and she nailed the role, and I can tell that the entire cast and crew involved with making this film really came up with some brilliant ideas on how to make it a story with depth and meaning. Thank you for sharing your work, I enjoyed this a lot!
Thank you for your comment and for watching the film. I am glad you enjoyed it. Horror can be hard sometimes when it reminds us of real life, but at the end of the day, this is a work of fiction and it's really just a creepy ghost story.
(and we have ideas for sequels and perhaps Vanessa escapes???)

WELL! That was disturbing. A compelling storyline in an ordinary, quiet suburb. It makes one want to look round the neighbourhood more closely. What really goes on behind closed doors. What's more chilling is, this could be happening right now under people's noses somewhere and no one will notice anything is wrong. It certainly held my attention the whole time. The acting, the gloomy atmosphere and the utter despair of her final predicament and obviously eventual death, were superbly done and will stay in my mind for some time. Credit to all involved in the production of this film. I will certainly be looking on Y.T. for more from the "Deformed Lunchbox" Team. 10 /10 (I am in New Zealand)
ok hear me out- so you make a sequel where its John's POV and he's like a prisoner or something, we get flashbacks from his childhood where we see that he was best friends ( or very close) to the little girl and the creepy grandma was like his aunt or stepmother who manipulated him and forced him to lure in kids so she could get their blood ( and call it FIND YOU). Loved the film ( and my sister who played in it !).

That's your best short film so far, it was short and concise but the story was very well written and had a sad twist at the end.
I really liked the makeup for the little girl who seemed actually dead (and that's something I wish to never see in real life)
This is a great film. I must admit that I thought I had it figured out. I naturally assumed the little girl was guiding the woman to her corpse to show her that the neighbor was a child murderer, and I figured she'd eventually find a way to escape from John's torture chamber and alert the authorities. Well! Imagine my surprise! Was the child ghost luring her to the cage or was the woman an unfortunate victim trying to help a child? Great short!
The way she says “it’s starting to feel like a cage” when literally at the end she is basically in one I feel so bad even though I know it’s just actors but it sure does look real

This is such a disturbing horror movie about a girl who mysteriously disappeared and the first person to see her dead was Vanessa who became the victim of physical manipulation. I wonder if it was based on an actual disappearance of girls who end up being imprisoned like a caged animal and physically tortured and manipulated through violent means. It’s also an extremely sad movie about a man who hides his violent past and possibly his dangerous criminal motives.
I thought at first he was using these victims to get their organs and blood for his mother as she's sick , but i guess he's just a psychopath torturing people.
My theory is that the old woman (which I’m gonna call Marcy because people say that’s what she looks like) needs blood to survive because blood was mentioned a lot. She spit out blood and because she spits out blood she needs more or else she’s gonna die. And John is her worker/son who traps people. The little child was forced to be a trap to Vanessa. And while Vanessa was entering they trapped her. So the old woman locked the door and John was hiding. He jumped on her and trapped her, now her blood will be donated until she dies a painful death. And while that she’s gonna be forced to be used as a trap. And they’ll trap someone else.
Man, your production is top quality, the actors you get are amazing. This quality tops a lot of the big budget films out there. I can't wait to see when you make a feature film.

This was pretty good it sure looked liked it was freezing cold out there while cast and crew were out there filming all of you guys did a fantastic job making this classic I'm not sure how actors in general ever get used to filming movies in the freezing freezing cold wheather but you guys did an awsome job .

Bah, esse com certeza o foi melhor short horror film da Deformed Lunchbox. Ele te prende desde o início até o fim, a atuação é muito boa, tanto que é que a gente consegue ver bem que a Vanessa, não só ela mas também todas as pessoas, sofreram demais no início da pandemia. Como ela mesma disse, trabalhar só em casa era como estar uma jaula. E também podemos ver que ela toma remédios com bebida alcoólica, não consegue fazer o relatório, recebe a notícia que seu pai está no hospital e sequer pode visitá-lo. Ela não está suportando, a equipe de produção conseguiu mostrar isso muito bem, e apesar de tudo, a Vanessa quer ajudar aquela menina
A história é sinistra, eu também gostei muito dos filtros utilizados, pois dá aquele suspense e sensação de frio. Enfim, quero parabenizar todos que participaram na produção desse short horror film, obrigado por se dedicarem e disponibilizar ao mundo um trabalho impecável

The creepiest thing I see nowadays is the disgusting-faces people make and contemptuous-disregard for their coughing: after masking for so long; people just let their mouths do the weirdest things and hack open-mouthed at other-folk; did one quarantine erase the last century of decorum. Any-way, this movie seems like a metaphor for living in rental units till you cant afford to bleed anymore and never even lived.
