Very good movie. I know several actors and other people in the entertainment industry that have to deal with this very life challenge. You have addressed this issue very well. Thank you.
Hello Everyone. My name is Thor Moreno and I am the writer and director of the film. I just want to thank all of you who have found it, enjoyed it, and commented on it. I am so grateful.
You did a wonderful job capturing the emotional strain that dementia has on families! My grandmother suffered from it. We all tried as hard as we could to make sure she knew she was loved and cared for. It's got to be so hard, knowing you can't take care of yourself anymore. Lindsay did an amazing job portraying the spectrum of feelings that this awful condition can bring. ❤
I had my mom with me the last 12 yrs of her life. She was diagnosed with Alzheimer's within a few years after moving in with me. At first I cried myself to sleep every night thinking my single life was totally screwed as I was an only child and there was no one else to help. But, as time went on (even as her symptoms increased) I began to enjoy those special days with her and still look ack with gratitude for the gift of having her with me and all the crazy things dhe did that were hysterically funny in hindsight. No matter how bad her memory got she never forgot me and would break into the biggest smile saying my name with tremendous affection whenever I entered the room after leaving for a few minutes!
My mom had dementia, and I agree. Sometimes it was very challenging dealing with her illness, but we were on the journey together and that is and was so important to me.
My father died from symptoms of the disease. He lost his appetite for food and water. He starved to death. One of the last things he said, as he was looking at my mother, "There's Betty Barton, isn't she beautiful? I'm going to ask her to marry me." He had a smile on his face and a look in his eyes of how proud he was. What a gentle man he was. He was 85. I'm now 71 and have an appointment to find out if I have dementia. Family members are worried that I may have it. I like to think I'm a lot like my daddy. The only one I don't want to forget is Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior 🙏🏻💓
As the middle child of five kids you could say that I was the black sheep most the time. As my mother and father became advanced in age and began to need more and more help w/ everyday responsibilities, it fell to me to provide the help since all the others lived far away or too busy w/ work to be available, I often felt somewhat resentful. But after my father passed I was with mom about all the time and, like you, I hogan to cherish our time together, especially during her last few days here. Now I have many happy memories and few if any regrets. Now I thank God for the opportunity that living nearby her brought me. Thankful I had them as long as I did!
Much respect to Lindsey Wagner for her choice to age gracefully.. Truly amazing in these times of such insecurity that famous people find the need to hold on to their past and look like plastic clowns. Jessica Tandy was a class act that was comfortable in her own skin, too. Two amazing women. Such grace and class.
I agree. I'm 60. I get the omg I'm looking old...er. LOL But that's what happens! I believe there is beauty in acceptance and in every stage of life. I think when people can find that beauty in themselves, they don't have as great a need to defy nature. I understand the desire to feel better about your looks and of wanting the inside and the outside to match. For me, I take care of myself the best I can. That's enough for me. All the best to you.
Agreed everything has its time I’m 60 and I say I had my time now it’s someone else’s and I have no interest in looking like my daughter the younger generation are entitled to their time and place in life just like we were so I agree age gracefully 😊❤❤
No sh*t! I was surprised that someone as naturally beautiful as Goldie Hawn would go under the knife and, in my opinion, destroy those God-given looks. I kind of think her husband, Kurt Russell, did as well. People should just accept that we all, if lucky enough to live, will age and become old, saggy, and wrinkled, but aging is beautiful
You are an amazing “real life” storyteller. The simplicity projected on this film makes us (audience) look inwards to the relationship between parent and child. We indeed grow knowing so little about the real thoughts and feelings our parents experienced. We tend to fill in the “blanks” with our own thoughts, even judging and making conclusions which may be so distant from their truth… In this film you captured a human experience that we all have; the parent-child relationship and the controversial emotions that affects so much our adult life. Thank you so much for creating this film. I will not forget it. 😮😢😊
May God Bless you Mr. Moreno for this film. I found it comforting somehow, having lost both my parents in April, decades ago, under similar, heart wrenching circumstances. Peace and Blessings to all who made the film, and everyone who finds value in its message🌻
It was so touching to see Jack awaken to his love for his mother. Great acting. I'm glad I found this movie. Sending lots of gratitude from Japan. This movie will remain in my heart.
That nurse is an Asshole. She had no right to judge him. She does not know his history or how he was treated. Her son does not owe her anything. She choose to have and raise him regardless of their differences.
MR. MORENO....... NOT ONLY ARE YOU EXTREMELY TALENTED, AND EXPRESSIVE, BUT YOU HAVE A GENIUNE INTERESTS IN THE THOUGHTS OF YOUR AUDIENCE. HOW RARE ! ALSO EVEN THOUGH LANCE HENRIKSEN ONLY MADE IT IN A FEW SCREEN SHOTS... HE IS A GREAT ACTOR. AND YOU WERE SO FORTUNATE TO GET HIM ON BOARD IN THIS FILM.....GOOD TO SEE LINDSAY WAGNER AS WELL. THANK YOU AND CONGRATULATIONS ON A GREAT FILM.... BLESSINGS !
Lindsay Wagner was always one of my favorite actressess. I named my daughter after her character, " Jaime". Shes still great! A very touching movie and it did bring tears to my eyes. My younger brother has early onset dementia. He suffered a couple of very serious head injuries when younger which I believe may be to blame. He was only 40 when we started watching it happen. Sadly, when our parents passed something happened to our family and Kens wife, who hated us, turned him against myself and our youngest brother and we can no longer have any contact with him. Despite reaching out to her, she wont even reply to let us know how he is or if hes alive. I sent police to do a check on him a few years ago and he told them we had a big argument and dont speak any longer. This movie made me think of him so much and Im going to continue to pray that God will bring us back together soon. Great movie!
Families are precious, mine mean a lot to me. I live in the U.K my dad lives in Spain, he's flying over on Sunday with his family. Even though my folks have been divorced for some 33 years, they seem to get on much better now. I'm like "Jack'" instead I'm much closer to my mother than my father. I really hope you can resolve things with your brother, because families are precious.
I hope everything goes well soon I know what you’re going through to some extent my children stopped talking to me when I got cancer it’s very difficult to deal with and heartbreaking too. Good luck hun xx
My mom also passed from dementia. She drifted in and out of knowing and not knowing reality. Spent days and hours bringing her back to acknowledge who I was. So incredibly rewarding when my mom did come back. Lindsey with Mark incredibly happy in the car reminded me of the joy we also had together. Thank you for sharing this amazing story with all of us. It's dearly appreciated.
Thank you for this beautiful film. 💖💖 My mother died just a little over a year ago and I spent more time with her in her last two years than I had in my whole adult life. I felt like I got to truly know her for the first time, and it felt like a wonderful gift. So, when Jack asked for a little more time with the mother he was just getting to know, I broke down and cried. I know just how he felt.
Lindsey Wagner is a very versatile actress…. And a real natural, unique beautiful woman. Love all her movies & TV shows. I had not seen Lance acting in so many years. I'm pleased to see both of them still acting in their prime ages.
I love Lindsey Wagner, she's an amazing and too often underrated actor. "The Bionic Woman" was a great show (as was "The Million Dollar Man" with Lee Majors and so many others!) Great memories, they don't make them like they used to! 🎬 They’ve made Ms Wagner look older and have actually toned down her looks for this movie. She does a great job in this role, such a wonderful actor and she's aging so beautifully! It's really nice to see an actor who hasn’t ruined her face with too much plastic surgery, to the point that they don't even look like themselves anymore! (And at younger and younger ages...)
The wonderful thing about women is that we see beauty in women of all ages and I'm sorry but it's kind of obvious that the person who wrote the comment was a man when he said that she was beautiful in her heyday because I can see her beauty still and she hasn't changed that much. She's just older. I know you meant well but it's just sad how shallow the male perspective can be. Of course if the person who left the comment was a woman well she's a little more judgmental than most.
My Father went to school with her in Portland, Oregon. He said she was a very nice person. I’ve always enjoyed her acting, especially The Bionic Woman!
Lost my mom during covid never got to say goodbye but I got her in a assisted living place, my sister used to take care of her and she died from a overdose from stealing my moms pills I tried to work and take care of my mom didn't work threw the help of a social worker got her in but during all that I became homeless I remembering riding down the street with a plasma tv on my handle bars I just bought from the pawn shop for my mom so she could watch tv while I had to find a safe place to sleep I'm ok now living quiet comfortably thanks for this movie sometimes it's hard to cry gotta be strong right but today my tears are in celebration of mom she also was bionic and that is why I survived ❤
LIFE LESSON: Spend time WITH and love the special people in your life as much as you can., NOW. Don't wait until tomorrow. Send the flowers NOW, not when they're comatose in a hospital bed. Give them the memories NOW, so they'll have something to comfort them as life dims and fades away.
Right on @sagrammyfour Each+Every Word. Humans don't realise how Blessed they Are to have the Closest to them Still Breathing. Blessings to You Especially + All ✨🦘🪶🌠🐦🙏
Very good movie. My mom passed in 2012 from cancer. We didn't get along but when she got sick, i became her care taker for five years. I had to step back from my job keep up with her appointments and treatments. I was taking care of my family of two and running her home too. Taking care of someone sick, is not easy and will burn you out if there no other support. FORGIVE AND MOVE ON.
You are blessed and so fortunate to understand the importance of embracing forgiveness AND moving forward. I get it as well. However, I know people (and family) who put their hand up and say, 'No!!!' to forgiveness. Too bad and so sad for not giving it a try.
Mom and I never saw eye-to-eye on anything, and we didn't like each other. When she turned 80 and was in a nursing home, I visited every day. We became very close and loved one another dearly. We had a Mother & Daughter "forgiveness party." She started it by first asking for my forgiveness over a really stupid event, then that made her think of other stupid events she asked forgiveness of me. I told her I forgave her long ago and then picked out a bunch of stunts I pulled... asking forgiveness from her. At first, we cried. But, it didn't take long before our forgiveness party took a different turn! We began laughing at each other's funniest mistakes and misunderstandings. We laughed so hard, so long, and so loudly! We loved each other, and we knew it. Three days later, in the wee hours of the morning, I thought I heard her calling my name. Moments later, I learned via phone that she had just died! I'm so happy we held that Forgiveness Party. Neither she nor I have to get locked up in regretful grief over what could have remained unsaid forever had we not done what we did that day together. It was so wonderful to hear what we each need to hear... especially the words, "I love you."
I'm glad you made best decision for you but you're really not in any position to give advice n try to speak from on high to people you don't know. Not everyone will or should do this n this movie of course deals with mild estrangement. There are parents who have done far worse than what this man experienced as a young person. It would actually be a very toxic situation for some people to feel forced into a caregiving role. Some people however are still trying to seek the love they never got from the parent n it doesn't usually work out like a Hallmark movie. These are tough decisions for everyone n no right/wrong answer n honestly people should making day to day decisions with this often inevitable end in mind especially when parents are over 60.
@@nightbaby5101nice story n happy for you but I'm really curious knowing she was getting older n older, especially once in her 70's n you too getting older why do you think neither one of you reached out to do this earlier? Would she have been receptive? Would you? What did you most need to hear from her? What did you most need to say? Clearly you both knew time was running out n she would likely pass in next few years, so why didn't either of you do anything about the riff. What had you done in the past to try to work things out n why do you think it didn't work? Lastly is there another person in your life who is still alive you can speak with before it's too late?
WHAT A WONDERFUL MOVIE!!!!!!❤❤❤ I could go on and on about its unending virtues but I’ll just say this: I was prepared to watch this because Lindsay Wagner was in it. Usually, when older stars are in movies now their characters are watered down almost to be ridiculous and their acting, over-the-top. There was none of that with Ms. Wagner! To top it all off, is the character who plays her son. Can’t recall seeing him before but he’s fantastic! The rest of the cast deserves the best accolades, also. Thank you. thank you, thank you, for a lovely Sunday morning breakfast entertainment! HATS OFF TO ALL CONCERNED!!!!!!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😊
Thank you Thor Moreno. This is a beautiful movie and so touching. Great acting and great choice of actors. Thanks for telling the story that we all, at sometime, have to face. So well done 💯👌💕
Thanks for that film . I see the old American house with real family...as those are so many being abandoned all over USA and Canada. Great story with the real problem .Cheers from Toronto!
Yeah! this movie touches on sooo many things... essential farmers being one... i was looking for "mother robin bird" to be brought up again... beautiful movie! Also, in Toronto here.
@@kristyw2953Lovely movie. Thank you for uploading it for people to enjoy. Folks in the earlier stages of dementia, and their families/ caregivers often feel so isolated and depressed. Dementia is so cruel. It’s nice they have this story to relate to. Nova Scotia.
Well done,it's a good story and good actors,I m taking care of my parent too ,they are both 82 years old,but my dad has cancer but he s fine with the medication,I left everything for them but I m not sorry,I love them so much
Lindsey Wagner is a very good actress. I remember seeing an old 70s or 80s interview with Bette Davis and she was asked if there were any new stars on the horizon? She thought for a moment and yes Lindsey Wagner.
I'm glad to see Lindsay Wagner being able to continue her acting career. It's often very hard for woman who naturally ages to do so. There is so much pressure in Hollywood for staying and looking young. I admire any woman who chooses to embrace her aging rather than avoiding it. It is a natural phase of life. I remember her from The Bionic Woman days. Jack surprised me by how well he handled that "that may be true, I brought you some clothes would you like to change now?" I LOVE the understanding and insights of the young nurse/caretaker who brings a lightness of being to this movie.
🎉 Congratulations 🎊 Bravo 👏 such a lovely movie 🎬....... Tears are streaming down my face....Reminds me of when I was caring for my mom and dad.....or we could say my son's papa rino......🎉❤❤❤❤❤❤ Thank you so very much....🎉😊🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
So much emotional movie of a mother and son. I love it. Mother lived in the movie. Fantastic. First time i am seeing a movie so much patience. I love that Mom. So nice. Of course the son's ordeal to make Dementia mother love him is so nice. Very good story. Worth seeing many times.
When he first walked into the house the I could sense the way he felt and with that and the music 🎼 just made my heart hurt. 💔💔💔💔And now the conversation between Jack and his mother, the sense of reaching out to each other and trying to help each other realize what each one felt or was feeling is so difficult to comprehend. It makes me want to help them so badly. 😢
This film is beautifully executed, endearing and emotional. It is one everyone should watch as there are many lessons that can be learned. Honor and respect those who love you in life. Care for them as they did you when they could no longer help themselves. Have no regrets. This memorable piece of work will be cherished as one of the best movies i have seen.
after my sister died young & my dad died my ma had Alzheimer's, I was abroad a lot, I tried to get someone to look after her, but my elder brother who lived nearby disagreed and put her in a home, against my opinion.. she didn't last long.. i feel shame that i couldn't do more to take care of her! i loved her very much & she & my Dad gave me so much love when I was a boy and supported MY decision to "see the world" see both sides!
Not all Alzheimer's patients are affable and sweet and compliant. Looking after an extremely aggressive Alzheimer's suffering parent can be not only emotionally exhausting, deeply stressful but dangerous as well. For their own safety, many psychiatric Alzheimer's patients benefit from high care facilities where 24/7 nursing care is provided..and the medical staff are prepared for violent behaviours. Sentimentalising parents suffering from Alzheimer's may prevent the best professional care being provided. Administering medications and changing nappies and bedsheets and feeding a fully grown adult parent who doesn't recognise you, who is non compliant and larger than you and stronger than you can be overwhelming ....
@@kiraalialeeonfairythegreenone yes this is an excellent point as well and I'm simply trying to bring a balanced perspective as their seems to a lot of humble bragging going on n most people have their own agenda and biases. But if for whatever reason you have a chaotic, volatile, toxic or estranged relationship with a parent if you are the only one left to possibly take care of them you need to realize stuff that is already difficult to do n endure( emotional abuse, outbursts, anger, etc) if you had a decent relationship prior but can be a nightmare if you didn't. You will most likely read into n take many things they say n do personally and at times it may actually be. That parent especially one who on some level knows what they did to cause the estrangement likely has guilt even shame although they never acknowledged doing anything wrong and always painted you as oversensitive n ungrateful. So instead of them appreciating what you are still doing for them they may have deep resentment n lash out at you with a lot of projections n God forbid you are still in the will or worse the sole heir if anything I usual happens in the home even if simply an accident or something the home health aide or nurse did, you could even face charges. Yes perhaps Ive watched too many Datelines
what a wonderful gem! So beautifully written, acted and produced. Touching, relevant, honest in its humanity. I give it 12 stars out of ten. I would love to see more movies of this caliber.
Great movie about daily life so many families are going through the same as Jack. The movie was very special to me as my husband passed away from dementia.
I love Lindsy Waggner! She was awesome, and I was So impressed with everything about this movie! So Real Life! This hit me close to home! My brother is a nurse, and he took care of our mother for her last 7 years. I was there the last 8 months. I am so thankful that I was! She had a type of dementia so that she could not talk. I am so thankful for his dedication and I know it is a lot harder to do than one would think. This movie was beautiful. It meant so much to me! Thank you for creating it and for putting it on here so that I found it and watched it! God bless the writer and his beautiful message! ❤
I'm an in home Care giver and I've worked for two gentlemen with dementia and it breaks my heart to see people lose their memory I loved the movie made me cry a few times.
I’m born in 69, I had the bionic woman doll, kids have no clue what an idol she was to young girls back then, I was about 10 years old and cherished that doll, I loved her more than my Princess Leia doll!! We always made that sound when we ran! I’m so happy to see her!! Great memories of my childhood!
This movie hit "home" with me in several ways. Moms (turning 91 3.23) is struggling with dementia and Jack's home care experiences are so aligned with mine! In a way it is helpful to see this on film, to realize that we are NOT alone in this struggle,. And to learn a new way to approach our issues too, a different mindset. I know I learned something! This is a great movie.
Thankyou Thor this is such a true beautiful life meaning story/movie. I cried as my sons name is Jack and this touched my heart as he has a nature like the character "Jack", l also worked in a nursing home. Please everyone watch this movie, it's beautiful! Cheers Tracey from Australia xo
Excellent writing & direction: T.Moreno Exceptional story line & acting. ❤💯 Quote : Leo Tolstoy "When the suffering of another creature causes you to feel pain, do not submit to the initial desire to flee from the one suffering. But on the contrary, come closer; as close as you can to the one who suffers; and try to be of help to them." (Paraphrased) Thank you.🙏🏻
Lindsay Wagner, Linda Carter and Farrah Fawcett are my generation. As a mother I can relate to this story. How does it happen you do everything you can to guide and protect them and then when you need them the most they need you the least? Great story line.
And in same time can relate to the child/children - they are from you, but doesn't belong to you ( only to God) , as parents - they have duty to raise children, then children leave home ( even as Bible said - ) and make their own way, then some children can /want look after parents, but it's not as black and white - often they go along from distance, but as here,- even short visit is unbearable, as a carer I know often best is for strangers to look after elderly parents, for some children is too heart breaking watch parents degenerate ( specially with abnormal amount of dementia, which is absolutely devastating to observe in loved ones), so we need to be fair here...
I had and have no expectations of my offspring ever caring for. That is certainly not why I chose to give birth to and help guide them when young. I am my own response-ability, not theirs. I wouldn’t want to put that burden on them.
Beautiful movie. As an old retired nurse, I remember many of days wishing family would come more often to spend time with my patients. Time I didn't have with too many patients and so much to do. Alzheimer's/dementia patients were my favorites. Now I am 67yrs old. I have health issues and can't drive anymore. I live in the country and my 2 children are busy. I don't see them much anymore and FaceTime is just not the same. Ah well!!! "Cats' in the Cradle and Silver Spoon. Fork ran away with with spoon. Cow jumped over the Moon......" 1:41:13
@@sagrammyfour Of course. That's all any good parent wants for their children. There is no such thing as a perfect parent. We can try really hard but don't always get everything right. I thank my Lord Jesus Christ for the awesome people my kiddos are today.
I'm coming up 66yrs also and my two kids are busy and I don't see them much anymore. I also worked as a nurse and saw many patients that I wished had family or friends come to see them or more often. I loved the elderly patients and my favorites were those with dementia and Alzheimer's as they more than most, needed patience, love and understanding.
So sorry to hear about your health issues... 67 is not old!... I had health issues too @ 69 but completely recovered and have my old energy back and got my life back feeling like in my 20's again! Everything changed real quick for the better within 2 weeks. Happy to share my experience with you😊❤
wow that was exceptional acting and Lindsay was the big authentic actress that was the silken thread that connected the characters together very moving too ..loved it and having a Son I also understand those sometimes uncomfortable moments of ot quite understanding each other ..glad it all came right in the end even if the circumstances were sad ..it brought them together in a healthy way and a healing way .
It made me sooo angry that so many people were dumping on Jack and didn’t seem to see how painful some of the decisions that he had to face. He could had the choice of accepting them or turning them down, so at least give him credit for choosing the toughest choice. And as for the comment by the woman who said that when the mother tried to lead them to do the right choices and loved them, etc. Somehow I see some time that didn’t apply. She constantly said ugly things to him. When he said that he was sorry his dad died she told him that he had killed his because of a broken heart when Jack had run off and left them and other hurtful things like that. He knew that it wasn’t true but it must have nearly killed him to think that was the way his mother thought and blamed him for it. So please cut the poor guy a little slack. 😢😢😢
I enjoyed this very much. I am a senior citizen with a terminal illness. I have 2 sons that are estranged from me for 5 years now. I worry what it will do to them if they do not choose to see me again before I die. They had been estranged from their oldest brother when he died in 2018 and they both deeply regretted that they had resolved their differences with him while he was still alive and I wish they didn't have to have it happen to them again when I die but it's not my choice to make.
😢Beautiful, reality of living in every day situations, love how you gave her one last drive with her one Tru love ,even if it was in her own mind, she wished to have one more ride in that car,her son as an actor made her dream wish come true, her last thoughts were being with with that one more ride in tier favorite car 😢and sharing that most lovable moments of gazing into each others true love smiling and enjoying each other's space as she drift offs into her peaceful last moment of being with her true love and letting her son know she will be okay and that his mom and dad both were proud of him and loved him very much, I could watch it over and over, Thank you
Having lived this story myself, I can relate. Some days were excruciating. Some days I felt deeply grateful in the moments that brought me back to myself. All days offered something of value. Harvesting their value is what its all about.
I'm 76. This movie touched me deeply. My father died when I was 12. I left home at 17 and never reconnected with my mother before she died. At least I can use this movie as a stepping stone back into the remaining members of family that I have. This movie was a great lesson. Thank you!
Do u mean to say an american state can tell an adult child they dont have the RIGHT to take care of their own parent if they want to ?? Too much government interference in family matters !!
Unfortunately in the United States yes they can tell an adult that they cannot take care of their parent. All they have to have is someone anonymously making a phone call and saying abuse or neglect and they will come to your door and they will find a reason to take your parent or your child. And yes it should be criminal.
I just had this happen to me and my mother. Once the state was involved, an attorney and the nursing home have taken everything from her. And they took away my ability to be there for my mom. Every lie you can come up with these demons.
It is because they want to drain the estate and not have the kids bark at the fact that the government is stealing all of the money from the elderly and leaving them with nothing for their family to inherit… Even with the inheritance tax they want it all and they get it all at every cost to us. Our government is compromised and fraudulent. We just keep playing and paying
@@anitarose7915 Vampires. I took care of an elderly gentleman with Parkinson's and some dementia. When I started caring for him (helping his wife in their Virginia home) he was just out if a temporary stay in a facility after an injury. He came out of that place with lots of prescriptions including three different antidepressants and a caregiver discretion tranquilizer. The system literally sucks.
This was a very emotional movie, Lindsay Wagner played her part well, it was good to see her on screen again, playing in her older years, great actors "Barry" her son played a major role, thoroughly enjoyed it❤! The character Mark was a great actor! Dementia is a sad illness...
Lindsay you inspired me when I was only a child on The two worlds of Jenny Logan. I am an actress now, and your are still the most beautiful woman in the world to me. Thank you for this film!
Wow, came out in 1979 wh e n I was 15, loved that movie and the beautiful cinematography...always wanted to be in her time and time travel... reminds me of somewhere in time....love those romantic movies...❤❤
I remember seeing Lindsay sitting on a bench in Hancock Park in early 90s. She is a tall lady. Anyway it seemed like everybody who came upon her stopped to say hello. Its a beautiful area in LA and she helped make it so nice im sure. I love her works. ❤

Thor, What a poignant movie. I lost my mother due to dementia/Alzheimer’s last July. Lyndsay & her mother came to my wedding…haven’t seen her in years. She is a beautiful soul, inside & out! Thank you!🙏🕊️😇
This is so real to life, my mother at this stage of her life has Alzheimer's.. she's in a home , like Jack i thought my mother never loved me, its hard to say that. But through the Alzheimer's I found a person who says I'm lovely, your a good girl, and will say to the Nurse this is my daughter,, she has not forgotten my name or my son's. So I believe that even tho I never seen the love in her I truly do now. This has given me time to heal and forgive all the years of hurt.. I'm blessed to have found my mum in this terrible disease. This film is sad loving forgiving and all of the reasons to love the ones we love . Thank you ❤
Good movie, It reminds of my grandpa, my uncles and my aunties that passed away of alzheimer. Can't forget the good time I had with them and now I am afraid of having alzheimer too, I am almost 60, hope my sons and daughter wouldn't live me alone 😢
I found a diamond in this film. Authentic characters. Full of genuine family relationships and emotion provoking music. This movie will stick with me. Thank you to all involved in this production.
what a unique & beautiful story! There's no one that could have played the part of the Mom but Lindsay Wagner ! She's such a great actress! Loved seeing this "new" actor Jack, too!
Wonderful movie ❤,made me cry and remember my grandmother who had dementia. My mom and I took care of her and a couple years went by and she passed away at home in her bed ... I miss my grandmother dearly. Cherish your loved ones because they won't always be here ,sooner or later the Lord calls us all back home to him
@@danielaschweiger4715 I agree. I'd love my sons, who still live at home, to visit me, when they fly the nest. For us to always enjoy our time together . Great movie. A must see especially for Your mother. whether good or She is your Mother that brought YOU into this World 🌎. May peace be with her. Amen. 😇😇😇
I really enjoyed this movie. Lindsay Wagner was great in it. I always thought she would become a bigger actress than she became. She probably wouldn't accept many of the roles offered to her, though. She likely had higher morals than the majority of them.

I love this story! Thank you for sharing!
Funny, I'm in the same situation. Although she's 87 and doing well enough for now. I'm guessing that this movie is about surviving allheimmens
So very true. She’s a classy lady-and still beautiful!!!
I agree.
@@robinpayne7974 It's a clown show out there..Goldie was so blessed till she got possessed.
You are an amazing “real life” storyteller. The simplicity projected on this film makes us (audience) look inwards to the relationship between parent and child. We indeed grow knowing so little about the real thoughts and feelings our parents experienced. We tend to fill in the “blanks” with our own thoughts, even judging and making conclusions which may be so distant from their truth…
In this film you captured a human experience that we all have; the parent-child relationship and the controversial emotions that affects so much our adult life.
Thank you so much for creating this film. I will not forget it. 😮😢😊
Thank you for the kind words!
It's a true depiction of how many older people are living on the edge physically and financially. Bless us all.
Some of us- lol😅
May God Bless you Mr. Moreno for this film. I found it comforting somehow, having lost both my parents in April, decades ago, under similar, heart wrenching circumstances. Peace and Blessings to all who made the film, and everyone who finds value in its message🌻
Thank you!!!!

BOARD IN THIS FILM.....GOOD TO SEE LINDSAY WAGNER AS WELL.
Don't give up on him. Had similar problem with my brother but we're OK now.

Did you forgive your mom??
Lindsey Wagner is a very versatile actress…. And a real natural, unique beautiful woman. Love all her movies & TV shows. I had not seen Lance acting in so many years. I'm pleased to see both of them still acting in their prime ages.
I love Lindsey Wagner, she's an amazing and too often underrated actor. "The Bionic Woman" was a great show (as was "The Million Dollar Man" with Lee Majors and so many others!) Great memories, they don't make them like they used to! 🎬
They’ve made Ms Wagner look older and have actually toned down her looks for this movie. She does a great job in this role, such a wonderful actor and she's aging so beautifully!
It's really nice to see an actor who hasn’t ruined her face with too much plastic surgery, to the point that they don't even look like themselves anymore!
(And at younger and younger ages...)
I recognised her immediately..despite her being older..❤
Sorry For Your Loss!❤ I Lost My Momma 20 Yrs Ago. I Was Her Caretaker Too....
They would never give pills to a Covid patient. Sounds like intergenerational addiction.
HERE FOR LINDSAY!!!! WOW!!! STILL LOOKS AWESOME!!!!

❤
Hello Mr. Moreno. Your movie is the only one that captures the emotions I went through with my mother. Thank you
What a beautiful, powerful film. Thank you all.
WHAT A WONDERFUL MOVIE!!!!!!❤❤❤
I could go on and on about its unending virtues but I’ll just say this: I was prepared to watch this because Lindsay Wagner was in it.

Great Movie! Love Lindsey Wagner ❤

"When the suffering of another creature causes you to feel pain, do not submit to the initial desire to flee from the one suffering.
Yes at 70 my two never ask about my day, health or opinion, its werd they are nothing like how l treated my mom.

Do u mean to say an american state can tell an adult child they dont have the RIGHT to take care of their own parent if they want to ?? Too much government interference in family matters !!
if true,it's criminal!
Dementia is a sad illness...
you made some tears well in my eyes Mr Moreno. Great work. God is good in many, many ways.😇🥰🤩
You're an actress? Really?
besides the music, the movie rang so true. Very heart warming tuthful story
What was wrong with the music?
Perfect soundtrack
Lovely movie, finely executed and superbly acted.
I remember seeing Lindsay sitting on a bench in Hancock Park in early 90s. She is a tall lady. Anyway it seemed like everybody who came upon her stopped to say hello. Its a beautiful area in LA and she helped make it so nice im sure. I love her works. ❤
Great movie, and fantastic acting ❤!!!
I feel so sorry for the young man. He is between a rock and a hard place. I do have sympathy for him in this situation.
One of the best movies I’ve ever seen. ❤
Thank you, Kati. I am truly Humbled!!
@@EverythingTrueCinema Hollywood should learn from you. A realistic story that hits home with every generation. Also very well played. Hope to see more of your work
Thor, What a poignant movie.
Thank you ❤
Loved the movie brought back special memories of love one's. Thank you, and God bless
Whoever the actor is who's playing her son Jack he is so Tarzan. What a beautiful man and he did such a great job portraying this situation.
Excellent movie, and well worth the awards. Many thanks for the upload.
Just watched and 😢 alot!!! Great movie! Thank you!
Wonderful movie ❤,made me cry and remember my grandmother who had dementia.
My mom and I took care of her and a couple years went by and she passed away at home in her bed ...
I miss my grandmother dearly.
Cherish your loved ones because they won't always be here ,sooner or later the Lord calls us all back home to him
Great movie! The older we get the more we can relate and pray our children will look after us.❤
Unsere Kinder haben ihr eigenes Leben, sie können und sollen dieses auch nicht ändern nur wegen uns.Ich möchte das auf jeden Fall nicht
@@danielaschweiger4715 I agree. I'd love my sons, who still live at home, to visit me, when they fly the nest. For us to always enjoy our time together . For them to be happy, healthy and to know real love in their lives. I don't ever want to be a person who holds them back from their own lives. Or for them to be my Carer. We shouldn't bring children into this World, just to care for us in our dotage!! We have a wonderful relationship. They tell me ,every day , how much they love me. And show me in so many ways....I'm very blessed with my 2 wonderful sons
So, you gave birth to slaves?!
Great movie. A must see especially for Your mother. whether good or She is your Mother that brought YOU into this World 🌎. May peace be with her. Amen. 😇😇😇
I loved the movie. It sure got me thinking about my mom and what i could do for her before it is too late.
I named my third child Jaime after Jaime Sommers who Lindsay played in the Bionic Woman ! Always loved her 💜
lindsy is aways bionic women and still the same actress she looks great and the movie is tuff real life .very well done GB
Why women,if it's actually 1 woman?!
The story line was beautiful
I really enjoyed this movie. Lindsay Wagner was great in it. I always thought she would become a bigger actress than she became. She probably wouldn't accept many of the roles offered to her, though. She likely had higher morals than the majority of them.
