The acting is perfection. The story is amazing and seemingly, quite logical delving into the quantum world as it does. This is one of my favorite movies, and I have the dvd. My math is not up to understanding the equations, but I love physics and trying to understand our world and the universe (multiverse, other dimensions, etc). ❤

I watched this 3 years ago and didn’t realize it until 10 minutes into the movie. It’s as compelling as the first time… fabulous script, and an equally fabulous roster of quality actors! I didn’t realize how much I miss watching Gillian Anderson on screen til I saw this movie again. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

There are so many garbage movies that are in the theaters and then there are excellent movies, like this, that get buried.

This movie was incredible. I can't believe I had never heard of it but Im so happy i found it. This is being added to my list of favorite movies of all time. I miss seeimg true works of art like this instead of the woke garbage we have now.

WOW What an astonishing movie!
How is it that a movie like this isn't advertised when it comes out? It's probably too deep for the sheep.
Hehehe, as with most scipts playing out today. Not sheeple, but undergraduates having to experience the road of illusions.
Another great movie beyond the general appeal, and it starred Robin Williams, was " What Dreams May Come". More subtle but also extremely profound, was The Fisher King and a favorite was Contact and how it demonstrated parallel realities, not forgetting Groundhog Day of course.
My view is, those who were inspired to make such movies are time travellers, not in the lineal sense, or even conscious, but from simultanious parallel realities. There is always a thread between through which the inspiration flows. That thread is described in a number of disciplines and showed up in another inspired movie 2001. The thread was noticable at the end when the foetus appeared.
John Denver's songs filled my teenage and adolescent years. Listening to the timeless songs still fills me with intense longing for those very good times. He really left the world a better place, touched by his genious and intense personality.
Leaving us with a tear or two...
Strong emotion , heart felt wow❤ don't get too nostalgic mate some songs bring back memories sure,or is it just conditioning,they stir the emotions like a pebble ricoshade in still 🌊🙏

Noticed that too, even though I think make up may have added a wrinkle or two to forehead, or maybe removed them and changed the lighting to make Gillian Anderson appear a bit younger. Perhaps a little bit of both.

This is a sleeper kind of film. It's morals well established by the end. Normally we see this guy refuse to return for the sake of the love of his family. Was refreshing to see a man use his common sense instead of blindly following what could be disaster.
What was it he put beside her on the bed before he left?
His password hint was "I love" and the password was "Marika_Errol". Not his job.

Wow, that was a great movie. Great acting, great actors, and a great storyline, and the best part about it setting the side the commercials that you can just skip real quick was the fact that it was FREE!!👍👍 watch it!!
I didn't expect to enjoy this as much as I thought I would. Seemed slow building up then realised that the pace was perfect. Great acting all the way threw. A must watch.

Great movie!! "A" class all the way!! Good actors, and can't go wrong with Gillian Anderson! does have a great ending unlike many too! I don't recall this in the theaters, must have gone right to the video stores. Either that or it was up against some big block busters and got lost in the shuffle.

Absolutely right! I can't forget those eyes since Spielberg's AI. Artificial intelligence. That Osment's robot kid was so delicate touching and heartwarming, so dramatic and powerful with all that his passion to become a human,that the whole great movie was all around him like one big closeup shot.

This is the best movie, that I have seen in Years. The Actors are brilliant and the story line, so many of us would love a second chance with losing someone you love so deeply. I found this movie bittersweet and beautiful. Thank you so much in bringing it to us ,the audience. 😢❤
WOW! What a story! To my mind, this is the very best type of sci-fi, a head-on collision between the human condition and humanity's thirst to explore the unknown, aka "a little knowledge is a dangerous thing". The facts are easier to learn than wisdom.
I enjoy movies with Rufus Sewell. I believe it's the spirit within that draws me to him.
His Richard the 3rd on stage was legendary, exceptional Actor. He’s in the league of Olivier, Branagh , and few others.
A truly exceptional piece of science fiction,very thought provoking and beautifully acted by all the participants and one of my favourite female actresses (Gillian Anderson ❤️) thank you!!!!👌🏾👍👌🏾✌️🌈

She was oblivious. She didn't realize that she was holding him back from his passion and his life goal; to find his father. There would've always been a terrible hole in his heart unless he did what he was meant to do. I found herself and she had a huge lack of understanding. Hopefully this time around he sees it and meets someone else.

They have so many movies like this and now we have the CERN Hadron Collider in Switzerland 3 trillion dollars .. so much has happened with and because of it and so many people don't even know it exists and has been affecting things for a long time .. I believe it's bringing about Bible prophecy ..
I believe biblical prophecy includes CERN. Talk about time-travel. This story was already at the beginning. It just keeps getting more interesting.

If you like real science fiction, no monsters and a thoughtful story about the human condition, then this is for you. Very good cast with the excellent Rufus Sewell, the fabulous Gillian Anderson, a very natural Haley Joel Osment and the always sturdy Victor Garber. Do not believe the critics, they understand almost nothing about this genre. I doubt any of them have read good science fiction anyway.
I see, this turned out to be a good film with actual meaning.

Solid and beautiful story. I love the dialogues here. Just on point, no banalities or sentimental cliches you might expect. Maybe because the characters are introverts.

Great movie, great story, great cast. First time I've ever watched this and thought it was very well done. The only negative, is the ending. I feel it ended a bit too quick and that they could have carried it on a little further before finishing on that last scene. Still, thank you for uploading this, I'm glad I watched it 😊👍🏻
A really fabulous movie ... I watch a lot of scifi, and this is one of the very best in the time travel genre I have seen, even better IMHO than the 'Time Traveler's Wife'
