I just want to say that i really appreciate your focus on building a functional body that is strong and we can use because i am not here to the aesthetics of a "fit" body, i just want a body that is fit
I’m love how these classes build flexibility and strength without referring to “problem areas.” I feel so much more at home in this kind of approach. No shame. Just gain! 😀
This second class was more difficult but still felt good ! Thank you again for this challenge ! I can proudly say that I done pilates 4 days in a row and 20minutes isn’t too much to move my body even if the day at work was long and stressful 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽
Started with day 1-2 yesterday, very nicely explained ❤ Today I re-did day 1-2 and started with 2-3…I feel nice burn😅 didn’t manage to do belly tuck and breathing at the same time but hopefully soon I will manage 😊
This is day 3 and the 3rd time I’ve attempted to keep active with these videos! I’m feeling stronger and better but my god girl you kicked my butt in this literally! All the love ❤
This is a wonderful beginners series. I have been doing a wall Pilates for several months to the point where I started doing the routines without any wall support so this is a nice and challenging change.
Good sunrise! After class number two yesterday, my wrist was hurting and it really made me focus today on balancing my body and Finding my center though one limb or two might be extended or off the floor. This is so wonderful because it really makes me body aware even throughout the day as I am moving about and working. Thank you!l
Phew! I don’t usually like to comment but I had to say this was a great mix of “omg I definitely feel stronger and more balanced from the first class” and “omg this is crazy; arm and leg?! My butt is going to fall off” lol. Suffice to say I’m excited to come back to this and redeem myself lol
Thank you Isa! I have been doing your beginner classes for a couple of weeks and I am already feeling stronger! You have made Pilates so much more approachable!
I've studied Pilates before but this is good - concentrating on the basics like placement and core. I used to dance and always enjoyed going back to beginner class (remaining in the back of the class so as not to be conspicuous) for the same purpose. 💠
Thank you for these classes. I stopped moving my body for a long time and my go to is always to try and start back at my old level. But really trying to be gentle, I have old injuries that have been sore, so starting right from the ground up feels wonderful on my body ❤
Very much enjoying your sessions, as some who is new to pilates, and slow and controlled exercises. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and insruction.
Thank you so much!! This has been a great return to movement for me. Do you have any tips on self-correcting allignment for hands and knees? I have a hard time knowing what "directly under hip/shoulder" means for me. What should I feel, or not feel? Thank you!
Thank you so much for such a great workout and also as a reminder of the positions that we should correct. Again thank you both for such a great job. Please Isa ,upload more power Pilates and/ or basic Yoga.
I subscribed to IsaWelly last year since I found that her pilates class is really good for beginners. Just recently, I found out that I have hypothyroidism and nodule. So sad that I cant eat everything I want and I keep gaining weight. Told myself to go back to pilates even if it's difficult for me since my joints became weak. This class is challenging because of kneeling but I still continue and one of my favorite is bridge plus Isa who keeps reminding about keeping it slow and breathing. From now on, I will be following your class! Quick question, should I do this everyday or 3 days in a week is ok? Again, thanks IsaWelly! 😊 From Philippines 🇵🇭
Love these classes. One thing i really struggle with is keeping centred when in table top and lifting a leg up. Any tips on how to stop leaning so much to one side?
This is amazing to get back into excercising! I always need to start soft and slow to keep the motivation continued. Do you maybe have more tipps for staying motivated?
I am in the same boat as you. What helped me for the first time in my 32 years it's been thinking a lot about the "why". Not the first thing that pops up like "to be healthy, look good, etc." but the real reasons for why I want to exercise and how it would impact my daily life, mi missions in life, the things I could do. As far fetched as it sounds (I'm not going to write down the whole thinking process), I am doing this to save animals -my biggest motivation in life-, and to learn discipline and become stronger (also mentally). And now I'm being consistent. Find your real reasons and you will keep it up.
oooof where do i begin Isa!😅 i can definitely feel the level up lol i love it. i love how you reminded us not to put our weight in our neck and shoulders during the bridge. really nice. & yes we do want to have a nice bum 😌but your input on the importance of them really stuck with me. whew the last pose with our leg and arm up at the same time was definitely a challenge. i had to slow it downnnn lol my favorite was the cross over. very slow. very engaged core. i could literally feel every bit of my body. loved it. one question though, i did find myself with too much pressure on the hands when it came to the last one. how can lessen my weight? was i too forward?
yes, do try and shift your body weight back a little. when you are on your hands , you want to make sure your body weight is shared across hand and knees or feet. does this make sense?
I enjoyed the class and had a hard time with the bridge releves, my calves kept seizing up and could not figure out how to transfer to more of my glutes.
Congrats :-) I was surprised too. I had to take a break and couldn’t complete a couple sets, especially crossing the leg across the mat but we made it.
You got this :-) not an expert just someone who dealt with the same thing… I found a lot of what helped were yoga movements that open/free the hips either ones with both feet together or side bands. I would suggest checking out some that might work for you.
stretch your hip flexors out, deep stretches throughout day... release any emotions from your hips too x for stretches...deep lunges are great to start with
I just want to say that i really appreciate your focus on building a functional body that is strong and we can use because i am not here to the aesthetics of a "fit" body, i just want a body that is fit
To all beginners out there. Everybody started once. If you start now, in a few months you will be proud 💪🏼😊
thank you !!!! ♥️
I’m love how these classes build flexibility and strength without referring to “problem areas.” I feel so much more at home in this kind of approach. No shame. Just gain! 😀
Day 3 completed! Those bridges killed me, but I made it through. Thank you!
This second class was more difficult but still felt good ! Thank you again for this challenge !

I am so glad I found you.The first time in my life that I just exercise because I want to feel good, not to lose weight or to look better.Amazing!
wow i was really feeling the burn with this class 😅! Thanks Isa !!
Day 4✅ Already feel my core getting stronger! Super excited for day 5!!!
The bridge relevés were a little hard, but so good !!!! Loving this !
I loved today's session. The burn.... such simple movements but yet so powerful.

Great Pilates class! I’m learning that balance is everything! 💜

Question if my lower back is hurting with the leg and arm extension (simultaneously), does that mine my core isn’t engaged enough?
Is it okay that my arms are burning more than my core in certain positions?
My lower back was tightening up was that normal or did I do everything wrong?
oh this is hard , but I will get better!!
I can't hold my knees😂. I just roll over like a rollie pollie🤣
❤😊❤😊❤😊
Omg My butt is hurting!!
