We built this privacy fence to divide our doggy litter box from our deck. We had an additional planter boxes on the sides for decoration. This is the second phase of our deck build, and the next video will be finalizing it with a barbecue island.
We hope you enjoy our videos and that we see you in the ones to come!

loving your videos as we begin working on our backyard
Hey! Thank you so much. If you take photos of it when you're done we'd love to see them :)
Your backyard is really starting to take shape! Nice job you 2!
Thank you! Our backyard is almost feeling like one instead of a construction zone lol
Love those cute dogs!!! ❤️
Thank you! They are definitely the best part of the video 😊
Love that raised planter, I want to do something similar but not sure if I should anchor it to the deck or not, and if so, how. Anyways, awesome video!
I didn't anchor them, and they are still standing strong 2 years later haha
Looks nice . Where did you get the fence boards ? Can you please send a link ?
Thank you! We used 5.5" cedar pickets from Home Depot and ripped them down on the table saw to 2.5" each

Wish it was that easy digging holes here in Vegas! Nothing but caliche😡
Yeah you might want to rent a jack hammer for that haha
I do! A really small one and humongous one...lol!
Maybe black for the BBQ pit? 🤷🏼♀️
That would be a really nice contrast :)
Miter saw or circular saw for small beginner DIY wood projects? I have no experience w/ either and was wondering if you guys have a preference.
Hey, I would grab a 12 inch miter saw. They come in different sizes, but I would spend the extra money and get the 12 inch. That way you don’t run into pieces of wood that you can’t cut all the way through. Hope that helps!
@@BrocAndAimee That does, thank you!
Broc! I randomly saw a comment you left on a thisoldhouse video and the thumbnail looked familiar lol, so random. Awesome channel man 👌
Duuuuuude! What are the odds haha. Thanks brotha
Did you stain the cedar? I’m look at using the same cedar planks but not sure if I want to stain them or not.
Hi Ed! We did not stain them. Thankfully cedar is naturally weather and rot resistant, we just sealed the boards so the sun wouldn't fade them as quickly. Hope this helps!
This came together beautifully. This was exactly the video I needed to help me DIY this at my home. Thank you so much for sharing. ❤️🙏🏼
Thank you so much for the support! We replied to your other comment about the concrete :) please let us know if you have more questions on your DIYs!
UIC!
I love your builds
Amazing 👌👌💯💯
Thank you!
Loved that wall and the white planters... a lovely design and white makes the wood really stand out! 🙋🏻♀️🇬🇧💕
Thank you so much! We agree, the white definitely brightens that corner up :)
