Adding Grills on Completed CSS 1TDX / 2TDX

Add grills to your CSS Criton 1TD, 1TD-X, 2TD, or 2TD-X using one of our convenient grill kits. This video shows how to retrofit on the older style cabinets that did not have magnet holes.

Does the grill alter the high frequency response?

There will be some measurable diffraction artifacts from the grille frame, but the audibility of that is questionable. If you can hear a difference with the grilles on, you can always remove them during critical listening sessions.
