Car Audio Fabrication - Master Car Audio - Design, Build, Install Авто/Мото
Saw that little hand and started cracking up, made a scene at work. Thanks a lot!
Little hand? ;)
Lol
Yeah that was funny
That's it. I need to get myself a routere
I cracked up so hard when I saw that!! 😂😂😂
You put in a HUGE amount of both TIME and DETAIL when doing your installs and fabrications. That shows quality work.
I started out back in 1992 reading every magazine I could in order to learn as much as possible about car audio before I got my first car and adding a system. Got bitten by the bug and for 8 years I devoted my life to car audio. Time changes all things yet after watching several of your videos I would love nothing more than to take some fabrication classes and possibly get back into one of the single best hobbies (only second to RC cars) I'd ever been involved with. Your attention to detail and the fact you understand that button head hex screws are the best looking screws even though they will never be seen again (if all goes as planned) and that you make sure all your edges are standalone show quality is inspiring. Pride in ones workmanship is missing in today's society. Thanks for the truly inspiring videos. You're the Chip Foose of car audio IMO.
This guy is a pro -- excellent router work, and very safe. you do not want a hand in a router bit.
You are one professional dude. It's nice to see someone who builds it all together and not just throwing it out there.
oh man the amount of effort and love you put into setting up an audio system is commendable!!
It's definitely a ton of work, but the results are worth it! And even though its hid behind a panel, I want to know it was done right. Thanks for the nice comment.
@@CarAudioFabrication I'm 100% sure the results are worth it.. checking each and everything for rattling or any other kind of noise sure is hard work.. you truly know what you're doing.. keep up the great work..
@@CarAudioFabrication
It's all the work that makes a proper install look so "easy" and simple.
I can't remember the number of times over the years where somebody has seen something I've done to integrate a speaker or piece of equipment into an installation, and then ask, "Oh cool. Could you perhaps spend a minute and whip one of those together for my car?" It's usually followed by awkward pause, lol.
PLEASE BROTHER DO MY CAR👊👊👊
@@CarAudioFabrication Might be a dumb question, but is there a benefit of going 6.5 with a separate tweeter vs going with a full range (3 way) 6x9?
I lost it when I saw the tiny hand lmao
me too haha
It's a great running gag!
😂😂😂😂
Always hilarious. And he never broke carricter. Great.
Love these types of videos ...from novice installers to veteran installers ..we all appreciate the techniques you demonstrate on your videos ...
Great timing! I’m just getting ready to install two sets of 6.5s in my Tahoe. Thanks Mark! Love the humor you throw in!
The hand reminded me of scary movie 2. "my germs"
Take my strong hand.
I have done many speaker changeouts over the years, and am amazed that I never considered external sources of rattle. This is an "a hah!" moment. Thank you for improving my future speaker exchanges!!
Hello, you have a lot of great video's on the channel. Can you please make a video on installation safety tips? It seems like everyone has installation tips but no safety tips on how to prevent fire and shorts and what can cause them. i think it would be a great idea for many views.
Aww, your tiny hand. LOL
K Frey
I literally laughed out loud when I saw that creepy little hand come into the frame. For anybody who is new to using routers, it’s worthy of noting that if you do flush trim or template cutting/pattern cutting, you’ll want to pre-shape the pieces with a jigsaw/bandsaw, just as he did when he went to do the acrylic piece. Less material to be cut away means less strain on the router motor, which equates to longer lifespan of the tool. Another similar practice that helps increase tool lifespan, is to cut less than the full depth of the workpiece in one pass, by breaking it up in increments, cutting a third or half of the thickness of the material to be cut away on each pass. Great knowledge included in a great video, thanks for sharing it. Aloha
Cant wait to see what Doug does with this one LOL!!! Your fab-kitchen is friggin SWEET!!!
How can people disslike this? Jealous? You are absolutly the best car audio builder on youtube!
I have to really hand it to you Mark, you really thought this one out! When most would have given this challenge the finger, you just went for it and got it done.....high five to you!
Hand puns anyone?
That was HILARIOUS bro!
Great work as always too.
You can really tell you're good at this stuff because you make it all look so easy.... Nice work mate...... I will definitely subscribe as I learnt a lot watching this. I used to do audio installs about 20 yrs ago, nowadays I just do it in my own car or helpmates. Yrs ago I did an install on my girlfriend's car, her brother purchased all the same stuff to put in his car that was also the same as hers. She complained because it took me 2 days to do hers and her bro had his all up and running in half a day... But like I said to her, I can do a half ass job like him and it would all work. About 1 month later his started shorting out and sub box was falling apart an it really looked crap. Hers run without for many yrs after...... My theory is, take your time and do the job the right way the first time....... I'm still the same today, I can't do a half assed job, research and install once and do it right the first time..... Thanks for putting the effort into filming your work...... Top job 👍👍👍👍
Your work and expertise is on another level. I've thoroughly enjoyed watching this series. Well done sir!
Your work is so clean, it makes me scared to start :(, my KRX 3 installation
I should’ve payed more attention in my high school wood working class lol. Great video, Mark!
The good news is there are plenty of woodworking channels and information out there, it seems much more useful now than building a birdhouse right? :)
On top of what Mark said, also remember this. If you acquire some essential tools, which include a router and a jigsaw, you can go a long way. Yes, you do need some things to start out with, but remember, you don't need the latest and greatest in router lifts and tables. You'd be surprised at what you can find on the used market if you look for say a Jessem lift and table. The bits are important though so don't skimp on those, and a bunch of basic templates are as well. But you will also be able to create your own templates over time. Every time I've done a template in MDF or another somewhat durable material, I keep it, so I got a lot of interesting odd shapes, and circles in just about any diameter there is.
But the important thing to remember is this. Wood is pretty darn cheap. When learning to use your router and jigsaw, you can use so many things. You don't need a nice piece of MDF or birch plywood. Get the cheapest sheet wood you can, boards as well. Anything you can cut, route or sand etc. Go to town on that stuff, make shapes, use templates, do freehand. You'll be surprised at how much skill you can pick up just by using your tools, especially if you combine that with watching some good videos about wood work.
Good luck.
Damn,... watching these videos is making me want to build a router table.
Can't wait to build new ones for my 8"s in my F150. Awesome guide!
You don't have any idea how much you help me with every video you make, as I am New mobile electronic Student I love you mark. Thank you so much MARK you make
it easy my try.
Why can’t this man live near me
Super meticulous work,love it!
That is some A+ work. I'm always super impressed and left with great ideas. Thx!
Man you killed me with the baby hand😂. I love your content bro. Big ups🙌
Very professional work! Excellent attention to detail, you could have cut a lot of corners.
When I saw that tiny hand I spit sweet tea all over my monitor at work! Ha!!! That was great...
I like KnuKoncepts. Their kits are reasonably priced and not junk like a lot of kits.
Nice speaker adapters! I had my installer use Starboard and YES they made a big impact on sound quality. I also completely sound proofed the doors using Dynamat and added BlackHole acoustic tiles in the door cavity.
Very very awesome job Mark!!!👌👌👌 You made that job look so simple and easy!!! Everything came out looking perfect!!! Great video!!!👍👍👍
You are a very good teacher 😬
You should check speaker fitment with the window down in case your vehicle's window will impact it.
He did he said that he checked to make sure the window cleared
Your work is Second To None Mark.. Cant wait to watch Your tweeter placing and fabrication video. Thanks
This is real commitment to make a quality product. Congratulations 👌👏
Yo you got me with that little hand thingy. ✋️ 🤣 🤣
Man your work really hits the heart. professional . I aspire to make systems like you. The correct way . Cool stuff with the acrylic.
With all those specialist tools work must be FUN
Workmanship over 9000!
Gorgeous man. Top tier work/application as always dude. Good shit... keep it up mate.
Man, I am so glad you have made this series videos. I just got a JGC and I definitely want to upgrade the sound system. I have started this week to purchase my components one by one. My Pac audio just came in yesterday and since then I have been watching your build. If you were in the tri-state area I would just hire you to do mine lol great videos A+++
Tiny hand made me laugh lol, awesome vid! I really enjoy how detailed you explain everything!
Best car audio diy videos by far. You have to want to be perfect to appreciate it. Like the Lil hand too lmao 🤣 was a surprise.
Holy hell those adapters came out swell. Nice work! Id buy a set if I had a situation that would use them.
absolutely beautiful work. I do not have anywhere near your skills but one thing similar I do is whenever I remove a panel or anything in my car, I do the tapping everywhere and deaden everything. So it was cool to see that it was not just me, and if you do it, then I know it is the right thing to do. wrapping the plastic fasteners was a new one though I have padded them with silicone gel. anyway, the videos are awesome..
Great tutorial....madd props man 👍👍
Looks great so clean my favourite part of your builds is the tighty finnish
I'm sure one day your going to find the cure for cancer in that workshop of yours. Crazy organisation and layout. Love it
You always work with the best of the best gear and products
Beautiful workmanship.
Beautiful work as always Mark!! 👌 Thanks for this video. It's really going to help me with my build.
Glad to hear it! Share some pics with me as you build!
Will do sir!!👍
Very informative, and well produced. Thanks you very much. I guess I need to invest in some router accessories!
Amateurs have a router table... professionals have a router bench! Slick setup w/3 routers in a row for your most commonly used bits. BTW nice touch of humor slipping the baby hand in there. Although, you went to way too much trouble for something nobody will ever see, the spacers are a work of art.
I know it's there and I accept nothing but the best from myself. Don't really care if others think it's "too much" it's my own standards I look to meet.
Nice work Mark! You should mention in one of your videos about router bit bearing screws backing out.... It has happened twice with me when cutting aluminum and destroyed my work pieces. I have found that using blue loctite on the screws prevents it from backing out. Cheers, Doug
love your work, so perfect !
Y pues claro que es un muy ilustrativo video gracias por conpartir tus conocimientos
very well done transition plate and very neat, better than the factory.I like it
