For anyone new to car audio, always check that nothing is going to hit the window when it's down fully. I've seen this happen a few times when people have put larger magnet speakers in and haven't spaced them correctly at the front.
Also i like to put a bit of electrical tape over the crimps just incase they touch the window rail. Don't want to blow your new speakers haha

Awesome! Thanks for the videos, much needed help with my 2010 Toyota Corolla! I replaced my rear speakers with some kickers. I'm going to be dointbthe front door speakers in the next week or so. I do have to say that the stick radio is garbage. I just recently replaced the radio 2 weeks ago with the Kenwood DMX7706S. The stock radio kept showing signs of over heating for 3 years or so. Every summer it misbehaved. The screen would go out, knobs and buttons not working, and recently the aux would fail. I had to wait until the car cooled down in order to use it. I am very happy with my Kenwood.

My aunt had a Nissan Versa with similar speakers to these stock speakers. The thing with those is, they sounded perfectly fine in good weather, but when it rained, it caused the coil inside to rub against the magnet. Then once it stopped raining, 30 minutes and a little bit of music later and it would sound perfect! I don’t know how that is possible. We installed Kenwood kfc-1665s speakers, which are not anything special, but are good to use without an aftermarket amp, and at least they use poly cones. That car is sounding better now, but I am going to have to fix a few things: one of the rear door speakers is out of phase! Also, since they are 6.5 inch speakers mounted in a bracket designed that works best with 6.75 inch speakers, there are those extra holes that should be filled.

Hey Exo the message you are using to switch the wire I have been using for a couple of years now one tip I have for you instead of pushing the wire true the cable tie, cut that end off and electrical tape to attach The Wire and you would find you would be able to fish the wire easiest

The best way I found to fish wires through the door is....... to not do it! This zip tie trick will really help the next time I do it (hopefully never) so thanks exo!

New speakers don't have a much more height than the stock ones. And there should be a good one inch space between the stock speaker and the window already. The new adapters are much flatter than the original ones tho.

Cable tie is ok I suppose though really the cable sticking through the massive block at the end of the cable tie make the end to big and risk the cable pulling out.... Could only be fished through giant holes.
An even better trick that sparkys use is a metal coat hanger, cut the end of, bend it straight, put a tiny U bend in the end and plier crimp it down over a cable end and you can get it through some much harder to reach places and it wont pull out. Also can reach about 10 times as far as a cable tie and around odd bends. Sure if the run is very short I suppose the cable tie works :)
Coat hanger with the right hook bent in can also be excellent for fishing cables if that is needed though I doubt it.

To rout new wires, I would usually wrap a coat hanger around the wire... It does the same thing, but u get a longer rod to push through tight dpaces6

On personal vehicles? I cut the stock speaker wire that runs through inside of the cab, tape my new speaker wire to that, and pull the factory speaker wire in the door.. some vehicles are different and actually have the junction that comes apart inside of the door Jam with a pin connector. Those get more tricky to fish wire through and reattach

You should have ran some of that sticky rope stuff under the 6×9's just to avoid plastic to metal vibrations! Also if you are going to put any subs in the trunk I would isolate the 6×9's from any back pressure from the subs
