Approaching the Berwyn range from the other side starting from Llandrillo is another great route. It was great fun and we met some lovely people last summer. A wise decision not to ascend. Although the ridge is wide, it is very exposed and the path runs very close to the edge in parts, with risk of stepping on a cornice after a snowfall.
Nice hike on a cold blustery day! Such beautiful mountain scenery. I know the feeling, I need to get outdoors at least once a week to reset and recharge. I believe what some people say about waterfalls and river riffles, our Great Lakes beaches here, evergreen trees and such giving off negative ions that have a calming recharging effect on us. Tin foil hat maybe but it works for me!😅 This year I plan on doing much more exploring, kayaking, fishing and camping. If I head out and the weather turns bad then at least I have a good drive in the great outdoors! Your day hikes are great and combining camping in those incredibly scenic areas is next level for sure. Thanks for sharing!
Yes so do I, it makes me feel so much better to get outside - I can’t wait for warmer weather to get my paddle board out again! I really want to do a wild camp/paddle boarding trip! Thank you for your comment 😊

Hiya... that is such a true commemt about getting out from work.. i have a new years resolution.. to finish building my camper van.. so i can get out amd stay over night ahead of some magical walks in summer
That would be amazing! I have been thinking of turning my car into a car camper but I’m not to keen on it when I tried it before - vans are much better I’m sure 😊
New Year’s resolution is to get out more this year! 😊 at least every few weeks anyway. Will be Staying at Snowdon base camp in couple weeks. Hopefully we will get some more snow 😊☺️

I 100% agree what you said about work not getting in the way with the things you love. I try to do something atleast once or some times twice a week if i can, i love the fresh air. Atleast you didnt nearly blow yourself up in this video 😂🙌.
my new year Resolution is to hopefully do Camino de Santiago.. well some parts..id love to do the full lot. .but work is work.. that looked familiar that place.. have you not swam in that pool? good content. .your videos are getting better, and you seem more confident as well..i couldnt do the talking..i feel daft ha
@@ethicalbunny it does take a month of hiking 14 mile a day something like that or you can do it in stages..7 to 10 days. .people do it for there own reasons.i heard its spiritual feeling .come do it pilgrim
Loved the video, was feeling a tad worried as you did look a little on the chilly side. Should really invest in one or two Down hiking Jacket, gloves and overtrousers. Not a good place to find yourself alone and maybe sporting a twisted Ankle or something. Certainly felt for you, that said would love to have had the pleasure of walking with you to discover the waterfall and the like. Plan is to get up that way for a good explore and walk some time soon myself. Take care and stay safe best wishes AlexW
