That color with those wheels … chefs kiss
In my opinion Trailhunter is the most good looking trim 💚
It is a beast
I was really scared that I would hate this new 4runner. Toyota killed it! I work at a dealership and can't wait to see one in person.
I have pathfinder looking to trade it in for this
These are going to be popular
@@nascartalksandopinionnewsw8589sounds like a plan!
Popular= markups!
Toyota was forced to go away from V6 and V8 engines …emissions mpg. Turbos are not as reliable. Toyota killed it? What is the price? Less ground clearance. Cup holders in back, no seats. Roof rack way too small! Cargo area too small with hybrid, seats fold up bad design
Raiti never takes a day off, good job Joe!
You deserve the best and I want to bring it to you! Thanks man!
Toyota really nailed it with the newly formatted 4Runner. Very aesthetically pleasing with plenty of power. Nice job with the unveiling. 😊
I love how they kept the rugged, ultilitarian look. In a class of it's own. They finally made upgrades on the inside tech. A true SUV.
Team Raiti's consistent and efficient I love it. Thank you for the review, great work!!
Thank you for sharing this with us and all your efforts to go through all the details!!!! Looks super sharp!
Thank you Joe for doing a video for each trim Toyota brought to the event. I really love the new 4Runner. It appears Toyota will have something for everyone.
Built in Japan?
Yes it is
@@watchreport Looks like it, based on shoddy quality.

Nice shout out to the Gracies. Your overviews are always interesting. Thanks for keeping this going and keeping it fresh.
I can’t wait to see it in person Joe
You are going to love it
Looks great, but we are keeping our 2022 and adding a TRD Pro Sequoia. Super excited to see everyone’s builds.
WHY? The sequoia looks 10x worse than this
Tiny headlamps on a huge car
This is the best Toyota designed suv of the decade
Joe and Lori and Steve keep up the good work real true and I love the video real true 👍
Real sharp looking...wheel style and color go good with this.
What up Joe? 4Runner Time!!!
Let’s do this Tom
@@RaitisRides ;D
Great color on this one. The styling is sharp. Looks like it will age well. 💙
Nice redesign but still love our gen 5 with the rear seat option and V6 so we'll be keeping that one! Great review Joe!
This is definitely the 4Runner I would buy. Looks great and love the color!
This thing is gonna break necks on the road lol. Oh how humble the 4 runner used to be
Man, I hope this is fun to drive. Looks great!
Awesome dude 🚚 😊
Looks great, just bought a 2023 trd 2 weeks ago.
I like it Joe ! And I love San Diego !! Does it come with those big rocks to park it on ? 😃
I get them to throw them
In for you!
It is a beauty.
Love it!
I really like it. Good power too.
I love it! TRD Pro is more my jam. I wish there were upper air vents in the back and/or screens for the windows.
Even more so I wish there was a panoramic sunroof as an option at least! (Hoping this is available! 🤞🏼)
Thanks Joe,
I still have my classic 2001 black4runner and I love it. Mint condition and so many offers to buy it. This may make me finally buy my next one and sell my baby!
Why would you sell the reliable one get the 2024 5th gen over this tree hugging nonsense.
@@lostalx You're probably right! It's a workhorse for sure!
Love it!!! Toyota nailed it! This Trail Hunter edition is perfect for us off-road enthusiasts!
Dear Toyota,
Please, please, please blackout the lenses for all the exterior lighting. Especially the mirror turn signals!
Awesome presentation & unveiling Joe! I have a 5th Gen Trail Premium Edition and will be doubling up on my payments the rest of the loan so I can purchase a new 6th Gen Trail Hunter! Can’t wait to see and drive one in person!
Love it I can’t wait to see more trim
PLEASE, PLEASE add a LEG/THIGH extension for the driver seat... PLEASE!!!!
TRAIL MASTER IS SICK GONNA GET ONE NEXT YEAR
Needs an heads up display
heads up display is offered on selected trims
Hey Raiti -
I've watched lots of your videos and I don't think I've ever seen you comment on the factory audio systems in many of these rides. Please start adding comments about the factory sound from the audio systems, especially if it's a trim line with upgraded audio.
Love the power lift gate. I hope they changed the visors to a full slide. And not the cheesy little slide. Wonder if the merged the navigation volume with the radio volume. So when volume is needed for navigation you can change it when navigation is talking. I don't like that the blinkers on my Toyota you have to turn them all the way on. Most cars now have where you lightly move up or down for a short not full on blinker. Can't wait to see the full package!
I love Toyota's simplicity, and durability !!!!!!
I love the TRD Pro already… I plan to get one if it proves to have a reliable drivetrain in iforce max…and yes that one and the other 8 models will have enough wheel articulation to navigate safely over the curbs at the malls.
We have the 2024 Crown Platinum. The engine is freaking show of awesome engineering. That engine in that truck is amazing
The TRD and this Trailhunter look so good.
Nice looking vehicle. I’ll be in the market early next year and would definitely be interested in test driving one of these.
Hey Joe, does the rear glass slide all the way down? Thanks
F*uck Yeah JOE. Best car guy out there. Show these other Straight Pipe Betas what's up and howda do it.
Great job Toyota! On the TRD PRO fenders like the Trail Hunter would be more practical. Thank for the awesome video!
Was there a line of RUclipsrs all waiting to film the same SUV 😂
omg, I know. Doug has been shilling these junk Toyota's too. Ugg!!!
@@samtsui841 Let me guess, you're in the V6 cult?
@@samtsui841 so far ive seen 10 channels at the same spot with the same truck, no wonder youtube is over saturated
@@SlackersIndustry It's all a corporate push. Very few unbiased youtube reviewers.
Great job Joe! We have been waiting on this one for too too long! Is it just me, or does the floor look higher in the back so that it will be flat when the back seats fold down. The floor didnt look that high in the limited trim.
I'm sure the looks will grow on me.
But I just bought my 2024 F-150 4x4 V8
Would love for you to review it
You missed the air compressor in the back!
I would buy Trailhunter over limited. But I do have value in that rugged use and driving across Canada + the Rockies which is my home. Thanks Joe for the review.
can’t wait for the 12k mark up
Man I hope not
Maybe even more than $12k . They did to the big brother Tundra $18k more than the 2021.
Doubt it. The new Tacoma's are already being sold at a discount. People can't afford 60-70k cars anymore.
This Toyota event brought in quite the whos-who of YT car channel hosts.
Best looking new SUV, hands down.
10:21 great work as always - but what the hell did you do to your finger?!? Hope your nail doesn’t fall off! 😅
Tbh it just might be! Let’s see how it goes 🔥
This one looks so much better than the TRD PRO to me. Love it!
Definitely want one of these!!! Either a Trailhunter or a TRD PRO in black or white.
Hopefully dealers wont mark up sticker price on the new 4runner.
I think the TRD Pro should have the matte black fenders then gloss black, i really like the Trail hunter model
Joe, are you team V6 or V4?
“…get out the tissues…”
😂😂😂
Another great review Joe! 👍
My wife's favorite ride!❤
I like the Trailhunter design over the TRD Pro.
I'm staying with my 5th gen. Will consider a 6th gen once the mid-cycle refresh comes around.
Exterior - looks like they mixed a little bit of the new Tacoma front end with 5th gen 4Runner sculpting and 4th gen 4Runner dimensions. It basically looks like a 5th gen and a 4th gen hooked up and had a baby and called it the 6th gen. Gone is the Predator grill and now you have a Mario Party mustache.
Interior - sad to see them not offer the 40-20-40 split 2nd row seats. That was one of the main reasons I went with a 4Runner so I could stack my fishing rods and other gear down the middle and still put 4 butts in vehicle.
It's a Tacoma front end so it's not really anything new appearance-wise. And they'll want at least $10k more in price over the Tacoma which will make 4 Runners out of reach for many people. Sure, some will sign away the next 10 years of their life at 22% because they just have to have one until they realize that financing one of these will be a death sentence in today's economy. And it looks like that model there in the video equipped as shown will cost around $70k so there's that to look forward to.
😂 ikr
After I saw the engine bay I’m glad that I bought the last year 2024 4Runner TRD Pro. Sincerely, I have no regrets.
23 MPG vs 19 MPG? Pffff… I can afford that extra gas. Disappointed, I was expecting up to 30 MPG like on the Highlander.
The new Tacoma interior? Where’s the originality? The new Land Cruiser has more style.
The door handles are not at the same level. And by the way the gas tank door is not opening from the outside anymore.
Finally I was expecting more cargo space, the battery pack eats some space from the back.
It’s got more HP and better torque numbers than any other generation of T4R. Some people don’t like change I guess.
From where you got this mpg numbers? 😂
@@alexforeri Because this new 4Runner has the same engine, same powertrain as the 2024 Tacoma which has the same MPG on the highway. Just search and watch for a lot of MPG tests on RUclips for 2024 Tacoma. That's it.
@@abirsanu not official yet…
That Trail hunter is my favorite edition that I've seen. I do wonder if performance is hurt by the full-time snorkel though...
Yow hooks if any are still very hard to get too and use.
Great review!!! Love everything except for it being a 4 banger!!! Bring back the V6!!!!
Might as well go all in and spend a bit more for the Lexus 550 overtrail.
Toyota may make great 4 cylinder turbos, but that beast is around 6,000 pounds according to Toyota.
That's a LOT of weight for a 4 cylinder turbo to move. That's just my take on things.
Imagine how much more weight it'll have to move, once you load it up with your equipment and gear.
@@garrettyamada9821 My thoughts exactly for a bit more the GX is well worth it as that engine packs a punch. Got my wife the new LX and she absolutely loves jt and it can fly.
@@garrettyamada9821 yeah how longs that engine really going last with all that, 4 cylinder and turbo and the weight and in a off-road vehicle were you are going be climbing and such gonna be alot wear and tear on these engines and faster too
It has some strong 4th gen vibes. Looks good.
It has ALL gen vibes. First gen all the way to now 🔥
Vogt Ranch, cool place!
Saw other RUclipsrs had reviews, but I went to Raiti first!
Does all trims come with dual climate control ?
What an amazing vehicle, spec, and color. Wow!

I'm buying one good job Toyota just need to know when there available in Canada and I want the I force max hybrid trailhunter thank you ! Hope someone gets a hold of me
toyota is doing great things with this.if i were in the market.the trailhunter is my option, especially with the snorkel
i know nothing about previous 4runners but i do know that thing looks nice
The Trailhunter looks impressive. I think the 326 HP and even better torque will more than do the job. Some die hards would want a six cylinder, but they don't need it. I look forward to pricing and a vehicle drive.
Can you review the Bentley continental gtc azure 2024
This new trim is sick. The only thing it’s missing is a moonroof.
Tacoma have always had this problem especially the 2nd gen and 3rd with lift. CV AXLE, Wheel bearing, and boots always blown. Due to the lift i wonder if toyota have solve this problem with the 4th gen ?
Joe, on the dash to the right of the steering wheel is that an electric trailer brake control?
Yes there is!
I like It but with my money I'd get the Sequoia TRD Pro
Nothing wrong with that!
Would love to know the overall height to see if it fits in my garage!
Ready for Tundra Trailhunter & Sequoia Trailhunter 🦾
2:35 “like the Gracie family” lol that was good
Like the new model but I would stay with the V6. I am more of a reliability over horsepower and torque kinda guy. As always awesome job Joe! You are by far the best vehicle review channel bar none! You my friend are the standard! All the best to you and Lori!
Awesome looking vehicle, zonk on the info screen just stuck on dash though. Not a deal killer though..
I’m glad they put a brand 🆕 8sp automatic in the 4Runner
It was needed
@@RaitisRides hell yea
Im not, that 5 speed was absolutely bullet proof
@@tedbell4416 I sweat the V6 crowd is a cult.
Great looking vehicle. The 4Runner has among the best stats for longevity of any vehicle ever made. Toyota may be dragging its heels with regards to EV's, but they are going to win big for the next few years, where transition products like Hybrids are a better match for those consumers who can't charge at home.
Will it be available in France?
I want!!!
Mpg?
Absolutely love this thing! However, huge ZONK for that hideous T-O-Y-O-T-A on the dash!
All these questions, but never any answers. This is why I go to Doug.
Manual from the taco and no double mustache front end pls
Nice
Thanks for that!
How are these different from Land Cruisers?
I wonder what the “market adjustment” is gonna be
I love the Everest color
