Very good information. Thank you to all three for a job well done from a more natural perspective. As someone who has led a holistic lifestyle for 60 years, I am in agreement with all recommendations.
I’m a 45-year-old woman training to run marathons. My Dr just runs the standard panel. If I were to pay out-of-pocket for my own test, what biomarkers should I make sure are included? Ferritin, B12, vitamin D, calcium…Thank you!
I'm a little disappointed in the choice of guests. Why two naturopaths? Why not an MD, exercise physiologist, or coach to balance that perspective? As far as choosing doctors, an MD who does, or is familiar with endurance sports is good too.
As a PT, I've seen significant harm upon patients in the hospital who have followed the reckless advice from naturopath "doctors". Agree, bit of a fail by this group.
While your guests suggested a lot of tests, one must ask the question of what you would do with the results. If a test isn't going to change your protocol, why bother.
