    I was on the fence regarding the Talon 33 and you helped me make up my mind to pull the trigger on it. Nice to hear both a male and a female perspective on these awesome packs. Awesome job!

    GOOD VIDEO TY! HOW DOES EMPEST 20 HOLD 20 OUNCE AND 32 OUNCE HYFROFLASKS ? CAN THEY GET LOOSE AND FALL IF YOU BEND OVER?

      Water bottles work quite well in the side pockets. There is a elastic mesh plus an adjustable strap that cross-crosses the water bottle. You can make that as tight and secure as you want. See you outside!

    I just ordered the Talon 22 for use as a day pack while out on the trail with my dog. I’m 5’11” and have a long torso so the women’s pack didn’t fit. Can’t wait to trail test it! Nice video, just subscribed!

      Thanks for watching and the sub. I guess that is one difference between the men's and women's version. They are made for the average of each sex. If you are a tall woman or a short man, the fit might be different. You will love the Osprey.

    Love my Talon 33. I take it everywhere! I look for reasons to carry it! For backpacking I carry the Exos 55. They are very similar in design and function. The Exos is just bigger but at the same time a little lighter. I need a bigger bag for my sleeping bag (synthetic), if I do any cooler trips I bring my self inflating Thermorest which is also bulky.

      I am in the same boat. I have the Talon 33 for summer, hammock camping and day hikes. But have a Gregory 65 for Spring/Fall or multi-day. And I have an old Lowe Alpine 90L for winters. My winter Adirondack bag is a -30 degree and is kind of bulky.

    Is it packable, if I need can I pack it into another back pack? Something with ridged internal from would not work for me.

      I would say no, it does have an internal frame. Both models flatten down really well. I make mine flat and usually strap it on my 65L pack on the outside if I am basecamping.

    Just the information I needed. I recently started researching a new daypack option. Thanks.

    Great pack! I almost got the Talon but settled on the hikelite 26 instead as my day pack. Is the rain cover included on this one?

    • @OutsideChronicles

      The rain cover is not included. I picked one up at REI. Thanks for watching!

      Outside Chronicles I think I remember going for the hikelite partly because the rain cover in already part of the pack.. thanks for your quick reply 🤙

    Do you think you could attach a tent and sleeping pack to the tempest 30 for a 1 overnight camp?

    • @OutsideChronicles
      @OutsideChronicles  Год назад

      Definitely! You can use the ice axe loops to attach your tent. You can probably fit your sleeping bag and pad inside. I use Sea2Summit eVent stuff sacks to compress my down sleeping bag. I use my talon 33 for summer overnights. See you outside!
