Very beautiful, what's not to like about it. All the privacy in the world in your own paradise. I can only imagine the freezing cold in the winter time.....but would you care about that in a house like that? Don't think so.

I guess I'm in my own lane because when I saw the outside I thought wow, how beautiful but once we see the inside, I personally felt all the white made it feel sterile. I would have thought because it's in Muskoka (cottage country) that the interior design would reflect a more natural, warm aesthetic. I expected more wood finishes. That's just me. Seems like everyone else thinks it's a dream home.

Truly stunning house, no question about it, but I’m sad that the ceiling timbers were all painted. Part of the Muskoka FEEL is wood in the interior and the great room cross timbers and the dining room coffered ceilings seem to be missed opportunities to bring in that natural wood feel. I’m not looking for wood everything (that old seventies style needs to stay back then!) but not having any wood inside the home seems an odd choice to me. Other than that, chef’s kiss.

It’s a cottage. Boat garage is what it needs. Most people just stay there during summer time. So garage isn’t a must.

Lake house is cool, but if I'm going remote, I'm doing mountains, and even then, only for a few days, then I'm back to the city, to the people.
Could be a cool retreat for a weekend, it actually gives off horror movie vibes to me. So I'd be down for that.

I’ve been going to muskoka for over 65 years. This is not what muskoka is about. That’s just a very expensive house on lake. All it displays is extreme opulence. Total ignorance for what muskoka is all about.

It's the same design as a house in smaller scale subdivision. Nothing special about this one except the exterior surroundings.
