- Welcome to the Blender Beginner Tutorial series where you will learn how to use the most common features, like modelling, materials, lighting, compositing, animation, rendering... while making a rocket.
In this video we will model a window and side engines of the rocket.

all the tutorial I've watched this one is the most beginner friendly.
everyone want to do a donut when is about to start, but a rocket is way better and fun. almost there 😎
I'm glad that you like it.
Really Enjoying this tutorial, its small and easy, yet Im learning a lot!
your so helpful man thank you so much, your tutorials are actually for beginners
I was having some issues before --- gave up --- tried again --- gave up --- tried again & again --- really really gave up this time --- but then I decided to give it another try and it worked!
That's the spirit 💪🏼
thank you sooo much, this tutorial is very helpful, simple, not too long and easy to understand!
im enjoying blender now😂❤
tysm, this is fun…just built mines, appreciate you for this channel S/O🔥
I'm glad that you like it 😎
Trust me i think i got the best mentor and i hope we will have more videos on your channel and your channel is enough to learn
It was very helpful for memorizing and getting used to many things. Especially I've learned that if the bevel doesn't work correctly, it means that I did something wrong with duplicate before. It is always duplicate mistake 😂
Im having trouble when separating the copied circle from the rim of the window. ( 11:34 ) Once I have separated it I cannot move it unless I’m on object mode. Once I click away from duplicating it and try selecting it again it seems impossible. When I try to select it under vertex mode it selects the window rim as well, even when I have the window rim hidden. It shows up as a separate object in the scene selection menu but it is not acting that way. pls help
Awesome.
Thank you.
Amazing you explain so nice for beginnen 🎉
Thanks a lot man, your tutorials are really awesome!
Amazing i will give you 100 stars
Again great again. 😁
Thank you 💪🏼
I swear I'm going to master 3D soon
That's the spirit 💪🏼
Very good videos
at 12:34 when you said press scale and double click z to get the local axis and press 0 . it didnt work correctly. only one side is effecting but i select all the edges like you did. can you please tell me
what should i do
How come I did exactly as you say in the tutorial 3:48 and nothing happened after I clicked "negative" and "z" in axis?😂
I had the same problem, but then I realized I hadn't picked the target...
So after I picked the target (rocket body) it worked...
But then something crazy happened to my window glass and I deleted the entire window and I tried creating the circle again...
This time, even after I picked the target, it didn't work, and I tried clicking everything (positive-negative-X-Y-Z) somehow it worked although I don't understand the difference... So yeah... I have no idea.
Anyway, I still have issues with the window glass after I pressed F ...
2 vertices go out of lines... at first I thought that maybe I accidentally clicked on something that I didn't realize, but after I rebuilt the window again, the same thing happened again, only this time the crazy vertices just moved locations...
@@vizeath i also have this problem how can i fix it 😩
My window has this dint in it, it's not smooth as yours but I'll get there. Great tutorial as always
I just redid mine, appears we should use the bevel tool in the side bar, drag it out (dont let the inner circles overlap themselves) add your segments after you dragged the bevel circle out and it should work fine.
Hey :) how do you change the cursor mine in edit mode is like a cross kinda frustrating xD also thanks for your tutorials helps a lot
In 3:48 my shrink modifier only works for "positive" axis instead of negative. I would like to know why
Your circle is a 3D object, so one side is the positive (top) and the other is the negative (bottom). Depending on which way you rotate it (90deg vs -90deg) the top and bottom will be pointing in different directions. So it is all to do with which way you rotated it before doing the shrink wrap. I hope that makes sense.
Hello im having problem here 8:11 when putting the cursor to active it take is to origin, i tried the other option but same it takes them to origin world
At 12:49 when doing control B to bevel, the center of the glass is sharp and not at all smooth and curved like in the video. Can you please advise?
i had the same issue. try selecting the circle, pressing crtl a and fixing the scale.
I had the same issue. It appears it comes from aplying the transformations. So i deleted it and did it again without applying transformations
I just redid mine, appears we should use the bevel tool in the side bar, drag it out (dont let the inner circles overlap themselves) add your segments after you dragged the bevel circle out and it should work fine.
nicely explained
Thanks.
@@3Dnot2D i started 3D with blender but blender UI feel hard maybe if you make video on UI ?
The best way to learn UI is to work on projects. My first video in this series is about interface.
Nice tuto !👍
What is the difference between ‘Edge crease’ and ‘Loop cut to sharp’ ?
Nice question, but it is not so simple answer. They are similar but also very different. At subdivision level 1 they are basically the same. But I would always suggest to learn to use bevel and loop cut, to better understand the modeling part and in thet way when you have some issues ypu will be able to fix it. Also if you want to export your model to a different software, crease will not work. But I like to use them from time to time. They can do a great job in a certain situations. Also with crease you have less control than with a bevel and loop cut.
Nemanja. When you expect the next episode(s) and whats the plan/path?
Later today, and tomorrow... Will release two of them this week. 💪🏼
Modifier is disabled skipping apply what to do someone help
I'm having trouble with the circle mesh, I go into edit mode and then it just disappears..... I tried to unhide and normalize layers, but nothing seems to work, can someone help me out?
Try tapping on the letter A on your keyboard when you change from Object mode to Edit mode.
12:33 i am pressing R Z Z but still its scaling on the globe z axis and i also tried to change the axis to globe to local still not working
Same issue, I tried switching to local z by clicking S (Scale) twice, but nothing happens.
@@bugxyba same issue
you say one more time as if we were supposed to know it meant click twice, bruh you lost me on that one
