aren't they all the same though? It's just that whipping cream are called with a different double cream in certain region? The only thing that will change is the percentage of fat content in the cream so look for the fat %, not the name. Single cream, double cream or whipping cream.. they are the same type of cream, except for cooking cream. Now that's not the same thing.

Hi Kathrine, Today I try out your recipe for your burnt cheese cake. I'm using my new Rinnai build in oven and baking at the below second shelf with top n bottom heat.u Is that correct for the shelf. But turn out not very burnt after the extra five minutes.

刚刚烤好了,很成功哦!我烤箱比较大,就放中下的位置,因为不想表面太焦转烤上火时大概烤3分钟多。用8寸模烤出来的高度大概2寸多,第一次烤芝士蛋糕那么简单易成功,谢谢Kathrine Kwa

Yes, every oven is different. You can reduce the temperature.

I baked at 200c for 45 minutes. I also reduced sugar to 120g and add 1/4 tsp of salt and 1tbsp of lemon juice

If you’re using half of the recipe, then you shouldn’t use the same time, or else it might overcook.

Yes, I don’t think 5 minutes will make too much of a difference, so it should be safe to do that :)

I think the middle is meant to be soft. When she cut the cake, the mid looks very wet.
