Great video .. 1. After you remover the oil pan, is there a good spot to support engine( where to put a jack on the cover side). 2. Is the upper oil pan heavy? 3. Do I need to remove the steering pump pulley(or pump) too? 4. How bad was the car before, noises? How is it now?
after the oil pan removal you can either keep a jack with a 2x4 under the engine or just use that passenger side mount to do the rest of the work you need to do.
oh man thanks for sharing this .. I'm in the process of removing the bottom timing cover and got to dropping the oil pan and the 2 bolts that hold the cover, but the damn thing is still stuck..sob... so i gotta go farther with the oil pan and remove the two 10mm bolts in the inspection cover?
i need help if anyone has an idea my husband is working on my car put new timing chain on its a 06 nissan altima 2.5 before putting the cover back on he had to remove a bolt and to do so he had to spin the ignition a couple of times he for got he did that and put everything back together and now its not in time anymore is there away of putting it in time with out removing the entire cover and dropping the oil pans again at the top of the timing chain cover there is an access point to see the top of the timing chain any ideas

yep, youll see why after its all done you just need a flex joint to get at the two back bolts.
