Today i am sharing a simple quick restaurant style veg kurma, its an indian dish. Its an excellent side dish for Chapati, poori, nan, rice, roti etc.. Veg Kurma
Ingredients & Tips
For Masala Paste
1. Soak 12 cashew nuts in hot water while you ready the other masala paste ingredients.
2. Take
1/2 Cup of grated coconut
1/2 Tbsp Corriander seeds
1 tbsp Roasted gram dal / channa dal
5 pepper corns
2 green cardamom
3 cloves
1 Tsp Fennel Seeds
1/2 Tsp cumin seeds
2 green chillies
1 tbsp gingergarlic paste
1/2 cup of water to grind
Blend all and keep aside.
3. Take pressure cooker pan, you can use cooking pan also.
Add
2 Tbsp oil
1 Medium size onion
2 red tomatoes
few curry leaves
1/4 Tsp Turmeric powder
1/2 Tsp Chilly Powder
1 1/2 Tsp Salt
1 1/4 cup of water.
4. Pressure cook for 2 whistles.
5. Kurma is Ready
6. Serve it with Roti, Rice, Pulao, Chapati, Poori, Nan, etc
