It is clear by now that if you are too sick to work or unable to work because of disability the state would prefer you to be dead. DWP staff must be held accountable.
Look back in history and you will find it has always been that way...
Everything seems so overwhelming when you have severe depression and it’s so much hard work to get what you actually need when you struggling to get through the day
If you have several chronic illness and have medical reports , Dwp should stop harassment and unqualified people in dwp should not qualify to decide your disability! If all professionals from Hospital and Gp prove your chronic illness what is the point to give unnecessary pressure and challenges of assessments for disable person? This is against to human rights!
How long before the disabled are offered M.A.I.D instead of PIP. Supposedly in Canada there have been disabled people who have taken this offer up. I am waiting to hear if my PIP will be renewed and I have notified that I will need to claim UC, which has always been my biggest fear. I am 63 with Arthritis, Fibromyalgia and Spondylitis, these cause Chronic
fatigue as well as excruciating pain. I worked for over 40 years and paid my dues. My children pay into the system too. Millions of people do every year and the system that is meant to help in time of need treats them like scroungers. It's time The Government and Civil Servant Mandarins realized they work for us. Not the other way around. The disabled are not criminals.
There a lady who had her leg cut off twice had a stroke can not use her hands and not talk to good been told she now fit for work and lost pip
In London a veteran who lost his legs in golf war also been told as he in wheelchair he is mobile and now fit for work
Come on what the hell why take it out of the weakest poorest people who works all their lives and fight in war be treated like this
all we need is help and compassion and support to live the best we can

I have lost friends to suicide as a result from losing pip and having basic universal credit it is frightening
I goto a mental health centre and out of 200 people or so there 100 lost their pip and benefits most are disabled or and mental health
I scared of losing pip I have a car on pip and I am disabled and can not walk or do much at all have I have to pay for a cleaner and help to do basic things and I have support pets with out me not be hear with out my pets
Been told by universal credit me now fit for work what can I do now I have no idea have a big list of medical things

Good morning rich the esa assers are also like this too the lie though there teeth and if you have mental health issues like depression they will make you feel uncomfortable so u give a nervous smile and than turn around and say to your face ha got ya. Its the same with people who have physically disability they would start ragging on the person arm or leg causing them serious pain and discomfort, i have witnessed this first hand. Its a shame that they are like this the lack of standards is wrong. Hopefully this can change in the future

My parents died last summer and although I done some hours of work the dwP really got on my back and it made me much worse ! Causing bad anxieties and I was forced to get sick notes or I would be sanctioned ! Finally they understand and a disability adviser called me but to get one the well-being centre kept writing to them ! I’ve told the dLA I will never trust them again ! Thanks for all you do Richard it’s very appreciated I’m sure ❤

I am being moved over to universal credit and im autistic and i sllrrady feel likd my life wont bd mine no more and just the tbought of it is making me feel suicidle my sons my carer 18 and has no idea of how universal credit works so cant even help me with thd forms or phone cslls not sure what to do or who to trust no more
Don't let them win, contact citizens' advice as they will help you, they have benefit helpers. My daughter is autistic, they were pretty good with her, everything is done online and they leave you alone. Get your carer to sort it out , as I do for my daughter.
It's beyond heartbreaking as we all understand thar the level of stress involved.
There's been a lot of times, I too was a breaking point, having dealt with the system for 16 years. What with DLA, PIP, and now UC.
You are spot on Richard. That's exactly it, and aa I have thought myself. PIP applications have shot up because they said they'll be no recognition for illness from 2025 under UC unless you have PIP.

it's obvious the DWP is in serious state of problems, seems the DWP cannot control the workloads or not support mentally unwell people it's getting worst not better is it and with the legacy benefit transfer coming for the next 2 million claimants will add more problems to the situation, and the growing workloads on PIP it's shocking beyond words now now they are not trained anymore

They are absolutely disgusting that dwp they will get KARMA back and the sooner the better, ive had a belly full of them in the past, and i was going through Cancer and am still suffering the aftereffects of cancer as well along with other health issues 😢 anyway all this as to stop ✋️ NOW.
I think 2024 is the year of karma.....
They need to employ people that have training in mental health. It seems to me that the staff need training in physical disabilities that can be seen. So if these arent recognised how on earth can they cope with mental health issues. I remember a tv programme years ago where someone went undercover with DWP. At least one of the staff filled in the paperwork before the claimant even got to the interview!

I believe the DWP staff are following orders from above and they are pushing the work coaches to sanction claimants, they havnt got time to handle such situations of vulnerability which takes time as the orders from above are limiting the times with each claimant. This should be taken up with the higher authority in DWP. Just for them to get their no’s down the staff are also bullied abused and given warnings if their standard isn’t being met. There needs to be a full overhaul of the system but sadly the people who need the help have no say.

Thanks for bringing this to the attention of your audience Rich, I’ll Never forget the headlines I read in a online newspaper approximately 10 years ago where a disabled guy in his 30s was found dead in his flat, because he starved to death 💀 why because the DWP stopped his Disability benefits, since that horrendous death there were thousands of similar deaths!, how the fuck can this be happening?🤬🙏
DWP is an entity. Office Manager is a title. No one at the DWP will ever put their name on any letter/contract sent. So no one is liable. We all have the right to ask who is making these demands/threats. Your civil rights are trampled on and on one is ever held accountable. Not only that the return address is always a PO. Box (Mail Fraud). This makes the letter/contract null and void. Look at The Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Act which became law in October 2023. Learn the rules of civil procedure. Learn contract law. Learn to say NO. If no man or woman is asking then why would you comply. Fear. loose the fear learn your rights, fight back.....Appreciate the videos you put out.
if you go to appeal..the judge has the names....everyone is held accountable even if they believe they are not..Karma will hit hard. I shared some of my experience and what was discovered and am not silent..even though I had death threats to not speak out or rock the boat about legal corruption in the courts - that made me speak out louder. Contract law is the most important law..you are in your right if healing to tell dwp you cannot enter into a contract under duress or coercion....that is a valid argument in a court with what they are doing.

We were given a sort of trust fund when we were born just for living and breathing and well basically AS FAR AS I KNOW I COULD of course be wrong but if I’m not . Someone somewhere okd it to keep these really quite vast sums away from us . Again as far as I know these entitlements do actually come out of these funds which are ours anyway. We’ve all been shafted good and proper . Well done all whistleblowers. Also as far as I know I’ve never been nasty or impolite yet my comments keep disappearing. Not just on this channel either. Based on a bond built from the birth registration. We are " sold" on the money market. I might not have the words exactly right. But its all evil. The corrupt ones are in control. If its our money for living purposes then why do we have to pay bills etc.

pip is not being stopped , please don't worry its all designed to make u panic and nervous and so that idiot's vote in the likes of tory's and reform WHO want to stop PIP basically.

Dynamic duo, I had to move from ESA to UC a couple of yrs ago, and I will say that the work coach I had, on UC did what she could up until I had to have a UC assessment because I hadn't had one on ESA for many yrs I did ask her if she was able to tell the people doing the assessment the changes that she had seen in me , have been times that I have had to go to the Dwp office and she said that unfortunately she is not allowed to. But since I passed my UC assessment I don't here from anyone anymore.

Hello Richard and cara hope u are ok and enjoying this lovley weather ,They are not understanding I have a stammer along side other long illness the asser told me to go and see a speech and language specialist she was very obnoxious rude I replied for mandatory reconsideration and got it I hope I don't have to go through this again it was so horrible and horrendous I am worried about my son who as high functioning autism I hope to god they treat us with respect but I no they won't like last time they said why wont he talk or make eye contact derrr they are stupid autism people don't .
You can ask for a written assessment. Go to a local disabled charity or cab to ask for one to be sent to you.
My brothers friend died 2weeks ago because they stopped is pip money because they said his mental health is fantastic 😮and he was sitting with I carer and they said he looked fine, they had a video call...

I had three sanctions all lasting a month at a time ,no money at all, in my area you can only get 3foodbank vouchers for three days food a year, one sanction was for not being able to sign in on a new phone i had to buy to get internent.the job coach couldnt get it work....still got sanctioned.I still feel they must be illegal,for example even a prisoner is not left without food and heat for a month

I believe the dwp manipulate the figures for how much taxpayers money is spent on welfare. For instance the dwp are constantly having to payout large sums of backpay to claimants. Sometimes (maybe even often) years worth of pip benefits because that's how long it takes to get through the appeals and tribunal process. But all that money for backpay that should have been paid over years, goes into that one years dwp expenditure. It also manipulates the figures from previous years where the govt can say expenditure was lower. Yes that's because thousands of disabled people are stuck in the lengthy appeals process. The dwp also include in their expenditure how much they pay challenging appeals that they know will probably be overturned at tribunal. But it's always the claimants that get the blame from the public for the dwps huge expenditure.

They are not rolling out vouchers for pip , this was a Tory plan if they won the election which is a million miles away from happening now 😂

Excellent video host, wc caseloads are too high; they only have 10 minutes max for each claimant. Some work coaches don't even want to speak to you. My work coach look like she given up with life completely.
My daughter gets PIP for mental reasons but still has to attend job centre and they refuse to let her brother (who is her carer) sit with her during appointments which upsets her for days sometimes weeks afterwards.
Then ask for a room or quite area to conduct the face to face appointments meeting,, with him included,, ur quite within ur rights as tht is a disability adaption,, tht they can easily make to help with the mental health well-being ect,, if they refuse ask them,, is it urself as in the work coach refusing,, or is it the team leader,, or,, manager refusing,, lastly or is it the dwp " policy "ur saying is refusing,, get their response on ur phone if possible,,, trust tht makes a huge difference,, also ask these questions in ur universal account to leave a trail,, also ask if they are fully trained, , if they refuse to answer u will have proof because,, questions not been answered,, will b classed as a refusal to respond,, to very innocent but important questions,, they definitely don't have any valid reasons for not answering them 👍, vicarious liability look it up thts used to apply pressure to the team leaders and management ect they are bound by civil service laws they are responsible for training conduct ect of the work coaches there mistakes are costly also drop into the equation ur in touch with ur local mp about them not making resnable adjustments for ur disability,, remind the jobcentre manager about the Nolan laws been a civil servant she will definitely know tell her ur local mp mentioned them to u,, the 7 principles of public life, this should be off assistance for ur daughter,, also look on the Play store for an app called black screen it will allow her phone to record even using her camera video ect but look like the phone is off so if they become suspicious u can just turn the phone show them the screen and tell them stop being paronid lol and go bk to getting video evidence 🎉
You need to find a way to get legal advice have you tried citizens advice bureau where I live they are very good you can even email them via their website
Hopefully labour will sort it out, we will have to see though, disabled need more help
