Definitely true about no fjallraven reviews. Sweating now as ordered medium, probably need larger, but I've keb hardshell which fits, but I've shirts that are size small which fit, so yes definitely hit and miss with sizing, Enjoying your honesty, pretty funny 😉
Ordered a black one from trekkit for £114 on sale comes tomorrow. Already got a green keb jacket a baseball cap and a couple of t shirts, it's good quality gear..nice review mate 👍
Nice review. I have one of these that I bought 2 years ago but without hand pockets. They are really comfy on the inside as it has a fleece like touch. One downside on this is that it piles easily, but nothing a pile shaver can't fix. It is definitely extra slim fit but I like it like that like a second skin, the elastane makes it very stretchy so you don't feel tightness like compression gear
I got mine 2nd hand for £50, well chuffed, and I found the fit just right, I'm 5.10 and would go for Medium in Rab and most other makes, and I got this in a Medium, yes its slim fitting but similar to most Rab stuff it has long arms which I like and it does stretch quite a bit... i'll use mine in place of a fleece jacket. Keep up the great reviews.
The large looks like a perfect fit on you. Surprised you’re lamenting not having an XL. Awesome looking jacket. As soon as I can find one in my color and size, I’m pulling the trigger on it. Love the vidda pros too. Have two pairs already. My favorite pants.
I bought one of these yesterday. They are NOT warm at all. I went out with it on under the Sten jacket. It was about 4°c. Walking the dog in a semi rural location. No wind. I barely maintained a comfortable body heat. Trouble is IMO it's neither a base layer nor a mid layer. It's really hard to fit the Keb hoody into a catagory other than a nice pub hoody. Shame. I should have got the Arcteryx Covert hoody instead.
Great review! I just paid a premium for one of these on Amazon, but I owe you one - ordered the XL instead of my usual L! I reckon that I would have been pissed lol. We have a Fjallraven boutique here in Seattle, but they're inventory has been very thin lately. Great stuff though, love the brand and the quality. Cheers and subscribed!
Great Piece of kit, recently picked one of these up taking part in the Fjallraven Classic Trek. Mines not got the side pockets though, guessing there are varients of this fleece! ... keep the vids coming. Cheers.
