I find it infuriating that someone sat down and seriously pictured someone like me sitting there, watching the game, saw this ad and was like "well shoot, I've always ignored seeing abuse before, but now I'm going to start standing up for people and get involved." It's demeaning. The people who don't stand up for someone they see being abused aren't going to suddenly have the courage to because a bunch of celebrities tried to guilt them in a commercial, and you sure as hell know that the people who are abusing women aren't going to change because of something like this.
Guilt trips pander to the lowest form of human thinking. Someone whose opinion is swayed by someone guilting them into it doesn't have an opinion that's going to be significant (not to mention it can just as easily be swayed back).

I disagree completely. Burr's use of his critically acclaimed "Trent Murdock" impression at the World theatre in New York on the 10th October 2005, made burr into the comedian he is today. The impression was said to be the greatest impression of Trent Murdock since 1935. It was at this moment in Bill's life he was nominated for 'Best Impression of the Year Award' in August 2006.
