Have been in love with Running Wild since UJR back then in the 80s in my secondary school when they came to Poland in 1987.. Have always been ranking them my number 1 with Maiden and UFO. This is an absolute hard-core band which defined my young age with their attitude and desire for perseverance in what I am and pursue with. Brilliant career and wonderfully fantastic story of how you can shape the whole generations of people (not necessarily musicians- I am not the one s well) for life. Have just returned from Lisbon where I spent a week with my wife and our 10-year-girl. Walking along beautiful Alfama district and telling her the stories of Magellan and Vasco, your Running Wild Stories was the music background, my daughter loved this .... amazing family time. THANK YOU ROLF!

Finally. Running Wild is starting to get back on track with their sound. It was a shaky recovery since their reformation until Rapid Foray was released. This is really good. I have high hopes for their next album. I have all of their albums and am very eager to get their new EP.

Almighty Rock 'n' Rolf. Port Royal is undeniably one of the best power metal albums ever released.
The Notrap and how about Pile of sculls? I think it is better than Port Royal.
Александр Семилетов I love Pile of Skulls, especially Treasure Island, which is one of the band's best songs, but Port Royal remains my absolute favourite, and it has Conquistadores, do I need to say anything else? ;)
The Notrap and I have another awesome album from that band, and I can’t remain this work: “Under the Jolly Rodger”. This album I listen for very much time, much more, than any other :)

@@grofvonchachar5070 RW never crossed the sea since 1986 or 1987, mostly because Rolf said he's terribly afraid of flying. Here in Brazil they're very popular and could easily play in a festival

Drumcomputer (oder was immer wir genau da hören) sind nichts ungewöhnliches, nur kriegen es die meisten Bands halt besser hin als RW.

I remember when songs by Running Wild were recorded and mixed properly. Now it sounds as demo tape. It seems that now musicians should pay for the listeners if they will obtain CD or download music :)
Dude. They (erhem, HE) still rule. Rapid Foray had some unreal gems on it (boof!), and Resilient is fun and solid all the way through, and ends with an epic of all epics. That being said, this song doesn't reinvent the wheel, but C'mon! When does a German metal band ever release their best upcoming tracks on the EP? It's like a curse: whatever preview tracks you get are always the poppiest, label-friendly. Even so, if this song came on the radio in public, you'd be through the roof.
Sounds great to me. Many of their albums I don't like the production on.
@@qayss8977 Sometimes I think they released this Crossing The Blades to give the fans something because they were starving for a new album so they gave us a little bite to whet our appetites while we waited for the grand main course being Blood On Blood which was in production.
This song is epic, total heavy metal masterpiece with some epic hooks. I never wanted Running Wild to release anything new in terms of reinventing the wheel, I love what they do and have never been disappointed by anything they've done ever, including the new stuff. That's me though.

Angelo Sasso was an pseudonim of onevery close friend of Rolf, it was not a metal artist, and cos he wished to be anonim...but he is die many years ago....dot saying bullshits about unknown things.

@@Krolis5 Before this EP was released there was a picture with Rolf, Peter and Michael Wolpers in the studio, it would be very strange for the drummer to be there and use a drum machine, but now the experts here think that every time is drum machine, just realize that the sound is different this time, especially on cymbals

Personally I'd say, it's a drum machine, just listen to the KISS cover...

На самом деле всем привычный RW начинается с порт рояля - 1988 год. До этого шлак. Какие-то поиски. Так что и не 40, и не 35.
И в принципе RW это всего лишь Каспарек. Поэтому ничего и не меняется.

For the first time since the last really good Running Wild album Rivalry I am satisfied not only with the melody but also with the sound, the drums finally sound naturally again and not boring techno pc one, so they do not kill the bands works - very positive fact!!!
Listen again, man, drums in this song sound like shit.
@@TerrionStarfall I have really no problem here with the drums such as it was after the Rivalry album for a long time but we will see on the cd, maybe youtube improves it a bit ;-), however, the best drums for me were at the beginning of the Blazon Stone song - killing passage!!! :-)
