Exactly! They will be in the rock history books forever, right along side The Beatles, The Stones, Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, The Who Sabbath, anyone and everyone. Maiden forever!!!!!!@@@
Iron Maiden is totally underestimated and gets not the honour they deserve. I love them especially since their reunion 2000. Everyone says always: Compared with 1982-1984 it would be "only average bombast rock". Those 6 albums are awesome. 6 absolute masters. The drummer is awesome. Now nearly 70! And still an ass. They are experts how to compose an epic song. No one can do this. Many people say the songs from the last two albums we're too long. They are not! They are perfect. The albums from 2006 till senjutsu have tendencies of progressive rock. I love them. So every Maiden disser should listen their albums properly. You always explore new things. Very complex music.Maiden don't need to deliver hits anymore. They make what they want. And since 2000 better than ever. The only really bad Albums were from '92 till '97. But 3 bad ones of 17! Chapeau✌️. Up the Irons🤘🤘🤘.
Fear of the Dark (1992) was NOT a bad album. In fact it's a great album. It's just done in more of a hard rock style, rather than the usual bombastic metal style. That's why people don't like it. But I love it!
4:23 = Eddie (Senjutsu) 4:54 = Eddie (Killers) 4:58 = Eddie (Dance of Death) 5:05 = Eddie (Somewhere in Time) 5:10 = Eddie (Powerslave) 5:15 = Eddie (Book of Souls)
I think the Killers one might also be the same one as Number of The Beast because of the hatchet (Which is shown in one of the pieces of art made for NotB)
How can this sound so Maiden, yet not sound like anything by Maiden? I guess that's what you get when you're old, skilled but still fresh and inspired to create art. As always - it's fucking good and rewarding to be an Iron Maiden fan.
3am it premiered here in Australia ... i was up at 2:55 ... & i was not disappointed ... been a Maiden fan since 1981 ... they are & always will be my favourite band & it's their ability to suprise & constantly deliver quality that makes me so proud to be a Maiden fan ... i simply love everything they do ... 40 years after and Mainden does it again. That's why there will never be a second band remotely close to this!!! Absolute LEGENDS. Can't wait to see you back in NYC 😎
Great Song and great Band. One of my personal favorites are helloween who just have released a fantastic new album in reunion with kai hansen (godfather of power metal) and michael kiske (for me the best metal singer from back in the days until now) ... check out the videos from skyfall and fear of the fallen 🤓🤘🏻
Exactly the impression I had, representing the past, the greed, the division of people by politics, from the great leaders, Chinese, American, among others ... and at the end where it all started...
Every time. The man is flawless a human metronome! Paiste cymbals Premier drums and an excellent micing and processor help, but if you ain't got it to start with all that is a waste of 100s of 10000s of dollars
Saw performance of this song live few weeks ago in Kraków, Poland. This is amazing song if you dont moving to this riff and melody there is something wrong with you. Everybody on concert 20 000 people in arena was moving, clapping, dancing and singing with Bruce 😁😁😁🎸🎸🎸 One of the best concert I have ever seen and I saw Aerosmith, Foo Fighters, Pearl Jam, Guns Roses and many other bands.
Man, that is so incredible!!!! I saw this music video when it came out, during the pandemic. I keep going back to it often because I think it's just one of their greatest works (of art, music, arrangement, symbolism, groove, solo, storytelling etc)! I keep seeing something new in the music video every time. As you can tell, I think this particular song is right up there with their best stuff from the early 80s, even better because it's modern but the groove is retro classic rock with more political urgency than even their old shit. So yes, truly an accomplishment.
I can say that, not just personally for me but for many of us, the impact of the Iron Maiden or Scorpions names are really fuckin heavy in music in general 🤟
@@melissalorre4628 indeed. But I don't know if they are that specific, it could mean the fight for fossil fuels and its routes, regardless of who are the victims either of the war or the environmental impact. Not only the USA is involved in this. The Middle East has been a battle ground mostly because of this.
It's amazing how much this band means to us all, after all this years. A band that never disappointed any of their true fans. Up the Irons from Croatia!
Been a fan of Maiden since I was a kid, 30 years or so. What I'm really liking about the stuff they're doing these days is that they're making songs that demand several listens to really appreciate. They're not just churning out a series of "rock on" moments. Each song has so much going on that you need to listen, and relisten, and relisten again...they're not a "greatest hits" band and they're not just coasting along. UP THE IRONS!
@limelight81 That seems like a very subjective thing though. For me it's gotten better and more interesting with each listen. It's not a song that immediately grabbed me and made me want to riff along with it, but the more I listen to it, the more I can appreciate the layers of it.
I give that a Hell yea! Khorne Approves i guess. :D There are quite a few of those types of songs out there over the centuries, not only from maiden. The literal ART imo is tho, that it can give you a different ... lets call it "vibe" - depending on your current situation. If you listen alone, while driving, while working, while relaxing, or with people on a party or working out doing whatever is also influencing it like your overall current mood. This could propably also be the reason why limelight81 does no like it.
@@ArgelTal_ I totally get what you mean. I’ve noticed that effect a lot from the “recent” Maiden albums (everything from Brace New World onwards is “recent” in my head for some reason). I react differently to this song when I’m driving or walking the pup compared to when I’m painting minis. The songs from A Matter Of Life And Death have a sad vibe for me because I was on anti depressants and had insomnia when it came out.
@limelight81 I have NOT heard ANY "Country vibes" in this song. And, I am in the USA, and COUNTRY music is VERY popular here, and I DESPISE it. SOME "country music" is a form of POP music. It is basically a slowed down version of POP music where they add some twangs here and there, and the vocalist sings it with a certain 'twang" in their voice.
I'm just shy of fifty, and yet I still feel like that ten year old boy picking up the number of the beast album for the first time. I've never looked back. Up the Irons.
Great comment! I have a question though. Im not a native English speaker so Im curious: when you say "I'm shy of fifty" does it mean that you are a couple years above or below 50? Thanks and Up the Irons!
I actually get a slight desert blues vibe from the repeating guitar riff and the desert imagery. I haven't listened to much Iron Maiden but maybe I should. I like this a lot!
Without accepting Jesus Christ nobody can be judged into heaven. God is a holy God who does not allow any sins to be in heaven. He was gracious enough to become flesh, sacrificed Himself, buried, and resurrected so that anyone who accepts Him as Savior for their sins will be righteously judged into heaven. Hope you will believe that soon. 🙏

What a sick insane production, deserves +40 million view.
Who agrees that Bruce's singing is absolutely fantastic here ? 😍😍😍😍
Yeah, autotune's Maiden's best friend since Dickinson ruined his voice decades ago...

Exactly! They will be in the rock history books forever, right along side The Beatles, The Stones, Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, The Who Sabbath, anyone and everyone.
Maiden forever!!!!!!@@@
The most*
Every Iron Maiden song is like a story you can listen to over and over again, they are real works of art.
I agree! Up The Irons Ever! ♥️🎸🤘🏻
first school day be like*
So are Running Wild and King Diamond etc
4:23 = Eddie (Senjutsu)
4:54 = Eddie (Killers)
4:58 = Eddie (Dance of Death)
5:05 = Eddie (Somewhere in Time)
5:10 = Eddie (Powerslave)
5:15 = Eddie (Book of Souls)
I think the Killers one might also be the same one as Number of The Beast because of the hatchet (Which is shown in one of the pieces of art made for NotB)
You missed the Eddie of the book of souls.
@@OktboriaktIspektrll2711 you're right tho... it's in 5:15
This is so sick
@@GruelEnjoyer Killers and Dance of Death seem like the same Eddie.
How can this sound so Maiden, yet not sound like anything by Maiden? I guess that's what you get when you're old, skilled but still fresh and inspired to create art. As always - it's fucking good and rewarding to be an Iron Maiden fan.
Well, it sounded more like a Bruce Dickinson solotrack than a Maiden to, imho.
Sounds like it's from the book of souls honestly.
Sounds like Book of Souls, Red and the Black, or Pilgrim.
That's just what great musicians do. They develop new sounds and incorporate them into the store they've already developed.
@@supremeghost7950 I was thinking it sounds like a blend between Book of Souls and Chemical Wedding, but with something new added.
That Adrian Smith solo is out of this world!

Totally agree man. I love the big four as much as anyone but Maiden definitely deserves a spot in there as well.
The best band ever formed. Nothing tops Iron Maiden, their music and work is timeless.

46 years. They started in 1975.
Rush never had Blaze Bailey ruin their band even for a single album...let alone 2.
@@bottishg Can't wait to see them live again.
"Any similarity to actual persons, living, dead or fictional, is purely intentional." Masterpiece... Iron Maiden are timeless band.
Where does it say that?
Exactly the impression I had, representing the past, the greed, the division of people by politics, from the great leaders, Chinese, American, among others ... and at the end where it all started...
I think they are trying to defend against to the music's similarity to Feel Like Makin Love by Bad Company.
We are not invited to the Feast! We are here just to push the dying Empire's wagon 🤣🤣😥
Ive mentioned this in Maiden videos before, but I dont see Iron Maiden as a band anymore. Theyre an experience.
40 years after their first album they're able to make this. Unbelievable.
40 years after their second album actually.
@@BanjoSick You're right. 41 after their first album, 40 after their second one.
Anyone notice how phenomenal Nicko's drumming is in this track.
Absolutely! Love the drum sound as well.
Every time. The man is flawless a human metronome!
Paiste cymbals Premier drums and an excellent micing and processor help, but if you ain't got it to start with all that is a waste of 100s of 10000s of dollars
Nop, I was in a ecstasy , I didn’t knew who the hell I am
Also, just a little behind the beat which tells me they probably didn’t use a click track. Sounds so damn good.
Yes! Nicko is an amazing drummer! One of the best in my opinion! 🤟
I think never heard better Adrian's solo than this ! Mas

Bruce is a warrior!!!
Still singing even after throat cancer!
Still sounds better than 95% of music today! 👍🙏 🤘
Priest and Maiden still kicking ass
Yeah! I love rock and metal and don't wan't to listen to that rap shit so many does nowadays
I can say that, not just personally for me but for many of us, the impact of the Iron Maiden or Scorpions names are really fuckin heavy in music in general 🤟

It's amazing how much this band means to us all, after all this years. A band that never disappointed any of their true fans. Up the Irons from Croatia!
❤️
Well said, I feel the same way.
I give that a Hell yea! Khorne Approves i guess. :D
There are quite a few of those types of songs out there over the centuries, not only from maiden.
Incredible vid for an incredible song !
That transition though, from the birds to the riders. Simply 👌

Without accepting Jesus Christ nobody can be judged into heaven. God is a holy God who does not allow any sins to be in heaven.
