A lot of people will find that to be boring , but you have to connect the dots - he sings that part for short while in the middle section , but at the end he just makes it as a sad reflection on what is going on in this lost world

I postponed my drive back home for two days so I can set my self free to listen to this new album , 1200 km of road and iron maiden in the ear I just feel proud of being a fan of this band, I'm greatfull forever to this band, their music saved my life through a very tough time and depression poverty loneliness and lost hopes in darkness the only cancel I had was Iron maiden ...now that I survived, thank you for everything maiden

The last minute and a half of this song genuinely made me tear up. Possibly the most beautiful vocal performance Bruce has ever given alongside those haunting lyrics had a deep emotional impact on me. Just amazing.

The final minute and a half is absolute PERFECTION and proves how Dickinson is the very best vocalist in metal history! Epic, epic song all around that would be hailed as a classic now had it been on any of Maiden's older albums!
Maiden has been a big part of my life for almost 40 years. I started listening to Powerslave in 1984 when I was 12 and delivering papers on my bike while wearing a walkman. It's crazy to think they are still here and I'm still getting new stuff from them. Thank you Iron Maiden!

At last! I have found a way to put into writing the feeling I had as a child and still have when I listen to Iron Maiden. And how it has accompanied me since I was 12 years old (currently 40). Up the Irons, they are eternal.
Bruce's voice really sounds hopeful, his voice gets into your head and brings a sense of conquering the world and moving forward to achieve your goals...
The poetry and melody at the end of this song is simply masterful. Pulls at my emotions like little they've done before. Such beauty in this song.

Can we all just stop for a moment and appreciate the last minute of this song? I think we have witnessed the best Maiden outro to date... And it only took a bass, a guitar, some synth pads, a vocalist that’s been through a lot an a whole lotta heart.

For those of us who's been in love with Iron Maiden since the late 80's, know only one band in this universe can create music like this even in their 60's. Speaking about the whole Abum, it is an epic, an adventurous journey! It appears as a storytelling, progressing slowly to pace, like a movie, an opera it takes you away from you!! Each song gives you surprises and goosebumps at some point for sure!!!
And Yes! This is Iron Maiden - 3 of world's uniquely best guitarist, a master lyricist and best of the world bassist, a drummer that makes operatic sensation and the world's best heavy metal vocal beyond any question, who still sings this strong in his 60's and after surviving through throat cancer!!! I liked anything they did. It is not realistic to expect another Piece Of Mind from them now, and why they'd do that?! They can always do anew.
The most interesting thing (IMO) of this album is, this contains almost everything that Iron Maiden have been doing since then to till date. Like I found the Ancient Mariner, Wasting Love, The 7th Son, Clansman, Dance of Death, Chains of Misery, Hallowed Be Thy Name, Signs of the Cross, No Prayer for the Dying, From Here To Eternity, Stranger In A Strange Land and many more songs from their different albums in it!!! Don't believe me? Keep on listening repeatedly. You'll find all of the Iron Maiden in this album (except Be Quick or Be Dead or The Trooper alikes).

Words cannot describe how epic this song is. This is definitely one of my favorite songs off this album I really love that instrumental section in the middle.
I really like the riff after the intro also.
That mid section instrumental part is for me the one and only slightly weak spot on the whole album!It's too repetitive and should have either been sped up or even slowed down with a Strange World Murray style solo.It's not that it's bad because it's not and as the standard of this album is so ridiculously it just stands out amongst such greatness

@@IamaCosmonaut From someone who really, like extremely disliked the whole album (maybe except the 2 singles) at first please do yourself a favor and from time to time check if it still doesn't resonate with you! This is one heavy and very emotional masterpiece not easy to welcome and to digest. But it's worth a try.
Listening to Steves awesome epics in 2021 is always some sort of emotional homecoming for me. I've been a fan since 1986, and be it victory, triumph, pain, agony, death, defeat, love, hate, struggle, pride - Maiden were always there with and for me. Always!! THANX for that and UP THE IRONS!! Love 80's Maiden, but post 2000 Maiden is just on another level. Their music now absolutely demands your attention to get the most out of it - especially AMOLAD (my #1) and Senjutsu.
I'm a huge Maiden fan since seeing them with Paul DiAnno. This is amazing. The backing vocals and keyboards add a lot to Senjutsu. Bruce is definitely one of greatest metal singers. I've been waiting for new music from Maiden- this was worth the wait. Lost in a Lost World is already one of my favorite Maiden tunes. Up the Irons!

I remember on Aug 28th they were supposed to play in Minnesota. This was a few years ago. But that same exact day they played, I also received news that I was pregnant after years I was told I possibly couldn’t have children. Now my son and I are rocking the shit outta this! Love you Iron Maiden.

This song is one of the greatest songs I've ever heard. Absolute perfection. Everyone keeps talking about Bruce, who absolutely deserves admiration. But kudos to Steve Harris. He wrote this entire song on his own... absolute brilliance.

After lots of replays, I think this is definitely the best song of Senjutsu. It was a though choice between this one and Hell on Earth, though.

Maiden in purest form - emotion, melody, great performance. Smith pouring his soul into the solo as always. Actually, you can just feel so much emotion has been put into this, one can only marvel at the effects.
For 22 years, Out Of The Silent Planet has been my favorite Iron Maiden song but this right here...this I think takes that top spot. Perfection.
The last lines "As the clouds all drift away now / until we meet again" make me emotional.
A few years ago, I volunteered to help out at a nursing home where my relative worked. Even though I was a nervous wreck and obviously unfamiliar with the work, the elderly residents there treated me as if I had been part of their family all along. Although their memories were marred by dementia and other illnesses that come with old age, they told me stories, joked around, and treated me with utmost kindness while I fumbled around with the tea machine.
When it was time for me to leave, the staff insisted I teach them an English phrase (I live in Japan, where practically nobody speaks English). "また会う日まで" was what they suggested -- in English, "until we meet again".
I knew that they would not remember the phrase, and I would be lucky if they remembered my name by the next day. But as the residents waved and recited "until we meet again" as I left the foyer, I knew: they would not forget me, either consciously or not.
The song's lyrics tell of the native American race that was nearly wiped out. People disappear. Memories disappear. But bonds stay forever.

And the different parts of the instrumentals in the song, the chord progressions, changes of signatures, at first coming as if from nowhere, actually complement the lyrics in such a beautiful manner...As if musical representations of the conflicting thoughts, emotions ...such a build up of an inner struggle...with a gentle resolution..will there be peace, or just a helpless resignation...Oh, it's so gorgeous and so doomed...Thank you, Iron Maiden !
The outro is something clean, simple. Just two instruments and Bruce singing, but somehow its one of the most touching melodies i have ever heard.
This is basically just the Wicker Man with a helluva lot more self indulgence

I'm not the biggest maiden fan but boy this is a classic masterpiece well done to iron maiden for this its beyond beautiful I love the ending of it I love the lyrics as the clouds drift away now until we meet again it's just perfect. I dont think they can top this it's nothing I heard before absolutely amazing and incredible. I love days of future past and the time machine great album
