The intro and some of the lyrics somehow,otherwise is far away from heavyness of The Clansman,imo .This is more melodic .

Maiden Fan since I first heard them in 1981. Now, at 58 years of age and so many hundreds of hours of listening pleasure, I call this their best album ever. Absolute magical historiology of their music over time. I cannot stop listening to this album - it is brilliant.
I feel so young and inexperienced seeing these kinds of comments. I’m only 15, I’ve been into them for just shy of a year. You’ve been a fan since… well, not the beginning, but pretty damn close to it.

@@emilyrattini8462 Been a fan of Maiden since my brother brought home the Iron Maiden 1984-85 live after death world slavery tour album in 1985. Took my daughter with me to see Maiden in 2019, for the Legacy of the Beast tour, we had a great time.
I am 54 and similar to you believe this is their greatest work. Senjutsu is truly an epic accomplishment. I am playing it over and over in my truck, etc.

the mid instrumental section of Lost World is a bit repetitive and should have either been sped up or slowed down to a typical Murray Strange World style solo and also would have lengthened the middle instrumental sections in Hell on Earth but otherwise it's on course to become a future classic

It's great to see Maiden entering this fantastic field of elementary medieval and natural conception, combining the magnificently constructed orchestration, mixing different and colorful sounds. Bruce's voice is again the highlight and reports us to sensations of sublimation. But, it doesn't take long and the heroes dump their guitar drives showing that it's Maiden who is once again calling the shots.
So far, this album is fucking fantastic! It's fresh, the vocals and musicianship is as good, if not better than ever. The song writing and structure is as good as it's ever been. I'm thrilled so far!
Never has there been a band like Iron Maiden, and never will there be another.

I am almost 55, have listened to Maiden since 9th grade. Love their music and have seen them twice live. Senjutsu is an amazing culmination of so many years of their work. My favorite album of all their 17 studio albums.
Was a senior in high school when NOTB came out. The first time I heard it, I sat there and listened to the whole record from start to end and realized afterwards that I had just heard the greatest album ever made!

I've been a huge fan of Maiden for 30 years and can honestly say that this album is a joy to listen to. One of there best and I like all of them. I love Priest, Metallica, Sabbath etc but Maiden are the GOAT.

This bass is Badass! The whole album is great! Each next listening I find something new! And I like how Bruce sings in this album without pushing his voice to his limits.
Yeah this album accommodates more to Bruce's range while still being able to hit some higher notes. I feel on Book of Souls he was straining alot to hit those higher notes. IMO there best album since Brave New World and right next to A Matter of Life and Death. Quite possibly in the top 10 or maybe 5 Maiden albums for me.
His limits are a lot lower. He doesn't do it because he can't.
Bruce is certainly aging gracefully. He still retains a powerful voice to this day. And with so much clarity.

Almost perfect song. The repetitions of patterns in the middle feel a little bit too much. Needed more variation or more straight ahead feel. It's good to dance while drunk though.
I think it had to be a little repetitive there just because of the main theme of the song... They probably decided to do this to create more emphasis

Everyone is talking about the albums from the 80s and rightfully so. However, deep down, I think this is the kind of music that Steve Harris has wanted to write all along. He just had to wait for the right moment to do it. If you would have asked a 20-year old Steve Harris about his vision for Iron Maiden, I think the current version of the band is the closest we're going get to his answer.

It just sounds like Iron Maiden doing a fairly stereotypical folk tune with a fairly normal typical dramatic operatic sounding chorus.

I agree. He might not be perfect like in his 20's but he can certainly deliver a lot of passion and surprising amount of power for his age.
Bruce just turned 62 or 63. They’re all in their 60s and still kicking ass, and I think Nicko is the oldest at 69... yes, 69, a favorable number to a lot out there, and I’m sure Nicko loves being 69, too. lol

I was thinking that he's lost a bit of range - happened to others of a similar style (Halford, Tate come to mind) but he's still got "it". This really does remind me of Maiden 30 years ago - and that ain't bad at all.

He used acoustic bass in several tracks from The X Factor and Virtual XI. The opening of Blood on the World’s Hands and long sections of The Clansman for sure.
Yeah they have pushed the limits on this album, so fresh but at the same time definitely Maiden! Love this album so much!

Yes sir. Sorry for the spelling error. The big secret in secret societies is that they are still worshipping the fallen angels. They are the pantheon and indeed the pagan gods of old. The masses are given atheism through evolution to believe in..the ones who wrote that curriculum know that it's nonsense. They want the masses to forget about God while they, in secret, are still pagans.

God would not tell you not to do something if you already couldn't. At the time of the hebrews and egyptians, the egyptian gods were honored. The pantheon, egyptian gods, even pagan gods are in fact the fallen rebel angels in the Bible. The different cultures just have different names and perspectives of them.

The intros could make up a movie score..
The Strokes as well if you like that genre. Not all albums are the best but the opener is always perfect.

Love this album! Just listened to strange world then jump to this! The evolution of Maiden! Absolute brilliance since day one!
Iron Maiden you are great. The reason I play a guitar and sing, just like an invisible Angel you are to me.
To the point. I'm 45 yrs young now but up to the age to 25 I could play the complete Maiden production with guitar. Nowadays I sing with by baba voice, dreaming of a new old guitar, amp and some nice to have technology around those. Bruce still have some great pipes, unbelievable.

Okay I'm sure it's already been said surely by now but I'm going to go ahead and say it again without a doubt this is the finest album ever released by anybody this thing is amazing front to back I just don't recall that ever really been done these these cats auto win every award there is in the music industry without a doubt hands down I've been listening to these guys since I was young when they first come out when everybody said oh my God they're too fast and damn what an amazing job congratulations Iron Maiden flipping fabulous album
