There is not a bad song in this album at all. Every song is a pure masterpiece and it shows what Iron Maiden can do, even with Bruce on crutches and having had throat cancer, Bruce, Gers, Harris and Iron Maiden have truly created an album like no other. Every song you can feel from the heart, the guitars, drums truly Iron Maiden fans understand this. I have heard "the album is too long. Kevin Shirley needs to be sacked" I don't believe anyone should be sacked for their part for the album, long songs, short songs, who cares? It's music, it's what we need, Instead of haters, they should appreciate what goes in to making an album, what an album it is too. I never want the album to end. You could hear this all day and never get bored of the songs, that's a fact. I won't be able to see Iron Maiden in concert but I wish I could, I would love to attend Donington next year to see Maiden live. It'll be one of their best ever performances. I hope Maiden will play at the Birmingham NEC or Manchester. Up the Irons!!!!!
Maiden's just the best! Everything they have ever put out is awesome! Even the B-Sides are pure gold! Hell, even the Blaze Bayley era is pure fire! This song's awesome!

Senjutsu is fucking phenomenal and I believe Nicko will agree with me when I say this is the best album they’ve ever done
This song would fit perfectly in The X Factor album. 1. Dark, mystical intro with some gloomy guitar sound. This combined with some mystical whispering/talking vocal 2. Turnover to a very heavy power chord based riff, but the same melody 3. At about 3 minutes in, sudden turnover to a high-pitched, fast guitar melody 4. New verse, followed up by the same fast guitar melody 5. Guitar solo, mostly based on playing fast rather than melodies. 6. Dark, mystical outro, similar to the intro Listen to "The Edge of Darkness" at 2:56. Literally the same riff as "The Time Machine" at 3:13 However one of my favourites from the new album!
0:00 The Talisman 3:08 The Edge Of Darkness 4:30 For The Greater Good Of God 6:16 The Sign Of The Cross This composition is just brilliant! Played a little bit differently, but I can feel the essence of the named songs above!

Reminds me of The Talisman, another Gers/Harris song and my favorite from that album.
I only think it's a cheap device to do something that resembles another song as in the Intro and the Outro with acoustic guitar. It really feels like The Talisman 2.0. They are genius musicans, wish they could come up with something new...
Good song nonetheless.
(Gers/Harris did the same in the intro for Shadows of the Valley in the preceding album, which is a Wasted Years rip off)
@@VNeto94 that doesn't bother me though. I like that it's similar to a song I really love. They have a different sound almost every album. But I like that they grow and try different things. People said the same about the new Tool cd. Which I really liked. I love music and it really is difficult to disappoint me. 😁 ✌🏻
@@KeithHammerTime it bothers me that they don't seem to be trying at those specific parts. At least they make something different for the rest of the song.
I'd completely forgive them if the new songs were better than the ones they are referring to (almost copying from).
I like this song right away. I haven't said that about a Maiden song since The Wickerman. Most of their modern era stuff takes me a few listens before i get into it. Remember how you loved NOTB and Powerslave immediately, the first time you heard it? Good to hear these legends out there crushing it again.
totally agree. i wasnt really digging a lot of these songs the 1st or even 5th time, now my favorite keeps changing, this is a really great collection of songs.
Another Masterpiece from Mr. Gers and Mr. Harris!!!! Up The Irons!!!!!
One of my top favourite tracks on Senjutsu. I love the epic main theme, and it's a very progressive track with many changes...something I love in Iron Maiden. Great instrumental sections too.
Even after repeated listens I’m still getting goosebumps listening to this track. Coming up with songs this good so far into a career. Unrivalled.
Hermoso!
I I ć
UP THE IRONS!!! 😎
Or take luck head in protectorate alphabetical southeastsivasian...
After Bruce's throat battles he is still BRUCE. No one will ever succeed him. EVER
This is one of those where Nicko shows in his way what an amazing drummer he is. Full of groove, smoothness, flair and little intricacies. He just has that unique talent of exactly feeling what a song needs.
Absolutely phenomenal work!
3:09.... someone bring me a beer, a cigarette and let me wear that smile that only maiden can bring.
A melhor banda de metal de todos os tempos.
This might be my favorite album of Maiden since the old days!!! They nailed it!!!
Agreed!
In my humble opinion, this is Iron Maiden's best album since Somewhere In Time.
For me this is definitely the best album since the 80s. My favourite Rock/Metal album of the 21st century.
@Naldo Castilla in my humble opinion - are you was in hypersleep last 30 years or are you just DEAF?
Anybody forgot about Brave New World, Dance of the Death and Book Of Souls? Early 21st century Maiden..no?
@@sarax2660 they were in a coma
The legend that is Janick Gers 🤘🏽🤘🏽
5 out of 5 !!!! Wonderful album !!! Thank you, Iron Maiden !!! This whole album will help millions across the globe...all those people struggling , trying to find inspiration, motivation through these dark times....You guys live in your so wonderful Universe !!! Thank you for sharing your music with us here...God Bless !
This track clicked instantly, great vocal melody! Cool 2 & 3 solo and riff, love the tempo changes with that dancing guitar melody! A different and fun Maiden track and very atmospheric. Not a boring moment. 10/10
6:15 I love this part so much but the whole song is just amazing
Hats off to the creator of this awesome band Steve Harris and his troopers!!!! Steve staying the course through times and changes. INTEGRITY!!!!! THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR THE MUSIC. Fan since 1988. Seventh Son Maiden. Up the Irons!!!!
Iron Maiden keeps churning out classics like no other band.
Best maiden collection ever period !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So glad they're performing this live⌚
I can't wait for this upcoming tour and see Samurai Eddie take the stage on one of these songs and can't wait to see them play some of these songs
Bruce reckons they will play all the new album!
The Talisman, Dance of Death, The Legacy from Iron Maiden's previous albuns brought me in here.
The child of powerslave and somewhere in time with a touch of x factor and brave new world vibes! Up the IRONS!!!
A song about an immortal being is the perfect fit for this album, Maiden did it again, this track is just phenomenal !
The work of Nicko here is simply awesome
I am so proud to be a Maiden fan and I have been since 1984. I seen Iron Maiden 5x so I have been lucky to see them. Best British rock band and they know how to do a performance. I hope Maiden will play at the Birmingham NEC or Manchester. Up the Irons!!!!!
I love everything about this album!!!
@@mickyjones8500 Me too. Best music out there for 2021
One of the best Iron Maiden albums ever.
Keep imagining Bruce interacting with Eddie in live shows on this guitar part 05:30. Awesome!!! Up the Irons 🤘
The song started boring till minute 3:50 started to became interesting and suddenly in here 4:49 I loved it those crazy transitions Maiden mark
Maiden's just the best! Everything they have ever put out is awesome! Even the B-Sides are pure gold! Hell, even the Blaze Bayley era is pure fire! This song's awesome!
Hahahahahaha
Love X factor.
@@NothingToDismay The joy's contagious, is it? The new Maiden album is awesome. I'm happy about it too! Ha ha ha... (I see your sarcasm buddy)
The way Bruce sings the lines “Open your heart and I’ll open your soul” elates me in a way I cannot explain. I want to cry every time I hear that part. This song is absolutely fucking incredibly and I sincerely hope that if they choose to do a tour for this album and they decide to play it in it’s entirely, I’ll lose my tits. Senjutsu is fucking phenomenal and I believe Nicko will agree with me when I say this is the best album they’ve ever done
This song would fit perfectly in The X Factor album.
1. Dark, mystical intro with some gloomy guitar sound. This combined with some mystical whispering/talking vocal
2. Turnover to a very heavy power chord based riff, but the same melody
3. At about 3 minutes in, sudden turnover to a high-pitched, fast guitar melody
4. New verse, followed up by the same fast guitar melody
5. Guitar solo, mostly based on playing fast rather than melodies.
6. Dark, mystical outro, similar to the intro
Listen to "The Edge of Darkness" at 2:56. Literally the same riff as "The Time Machine" at 3:13
However one of my favourites from the new album!
E.... C...... D
@@diegomorales8616 and we love how they play it😉✌️
Ah, that's where I recognised it from! I knew it was from the X Factor but couldn't place it.
Along with Lost in a Lost world. As I said before it's a mixture of early Dickinson and X Factor
@@marchean83 and don’t forget book of souls 3 minutes in
4:00 i just picture how Gers will be dancing to it
Gers dancing and the concert crowd all jumping to the rythm. Cant wait to see that live! 🤘
0:00 The Talisman
3:08 The Edge Of Darkness
4:30 For The Greater Good Of God
6:16 The Sign Of The Cross
This composition is just brilliant! Played a little bit differently, but I can feel the essence of the named songs above!
Exacto!!.. el tema lo armaron básicamente con partes de los que mencionas. Una apuesta no muy novedosa paro efectiva.
that is precisely the problem, Maiden is way too talented a band to be recycling the same riff and and sometimes whole passages from previous songs
@@Unknown-mz3wwis just one song wtf are you talking about xd and still original, is for the real fans that can recognize these riff and references to their own songs.
The old gallop, the beautiful changes. Iron Maiden talent to compose amazing tracks is incredible.
Thank you Mr. Gers. You are the man!
Peace and love
Thank you for this song, Janick Gers
This feels like a mix between The Talisman and The Book of Souls
self-plagiarism like many others on the album from older men, unfortunately
@@Joseph_KleinWhat exactly do you expect? If Maiden just did something totally new everyone would complain that it’s not Maiden anymore. When they stick to their style people like you complain that they are doing the same thing. Lose lose. This song may have elements of previous songs, but still has its own unique feel at the same time.
So awesome watching them play this live at 3:05 when everyone starts jumping. 🤘
my favourite song on the album.
This song rings in my head all the time. What a song! This album is definitely different from others. Strategy and tactics. Senjutsu.
Dave Murray is the masterpiece and guitar guru in Iron Maiden history, past and present period 🎸
One of the best songs of all time....
When I always listen to Iron Maiden not only are they the best in the world, but their songs literally give me goosebumps, tears and lifts my soul.
All around favorite track from SENJUTSU; great lyrics, beats and melodies, and it goes from slow to fast to slow, truly epic. I nominate this track to the Hall of Iron Maiden's FOREVER CLASSICS
The whole record is fantastic. This is one of my favorite tracks. Great melody in the verses, the way it modulates up.
Es sencillo.....la vida disfrutando a Iron Maiden o sin ellos no es lo mismo!! Saludos a todos fans en el mundo, UP THE IRONS!!
Wow...
Ni más...ni menos!!
Greetings to you to mate from Tasmania
