The only versions that existed were the Ozzy version from No More Tears and the Motörhead version from March or Die. This is a new version they just mashed up to commemorate the anniversary.
Hearing the legendary voices of Ozzy Osbourne and Lemmy Kilmister in the same song, just might be one of the most beautiful, and metal, things I've ever heard.
I said way back when "No More Tears", then "March Or Die" was released..."Why did Lemmy & Ozzy not create this as a "metal duet"! Now 30 years later. The masterpiece has spawned about to our delight! #RockOut #Hellraiser21
It’s rock n’ roll and Tenacious D said “Rock is dead….is rock still around no rock is dead, it’s all over! Rock ‘n roll is dead” Lemmy is gone, Freddie Mercury, Bon Scott etc. the majority of Rock pioneers are gone too. So I’d say it’s pretty dead not completely though.
Lemmy + actually hearing the bass in the audio mix is the way this song should've been from the beginning, since Lemmy did write the song after all 🖤🔥🖤
you are a 3rd right there dude, it was Lemmy, Ozzy AND another dude that wrote this together, cant remember the other guys name and that is why you will hear this done by ozzy also from years back, but i agree, it is good to hear the bass a bit more in this version :)
If only they could've included Fast Eddie, Mikkey Dee, and Phil Campbell, too. Maybe have Mikkey Dee under the hood of the van, whacking it with a wrench or something.
A warlock you mean? I think in the wow commercials he played back in early 2000s he picked Undead Warlock as his representative class and said that there can only be one prince of darkness.
Ok, I've listened to this so many times, it's nothing extraordinary anymore. But for the first time I've sat down to watch the animation, IT KICKS M'F*CKING ALIEN ASS!!! Especially Ozzy depicted as the bat from the Ultimate Sin was the most fitting ending
Not only is everything fitting, from the style, to Ozzy being a user of dark magic (as it should be), but it also does what oldschool music videos do best: telling stories visually WITH the music. if this was done in the 80's or 90's, it would fit 100% with no changes.
I lost count of how many times I've watched this video. I have to agree. The visual story fits this song so well. Excellent tribute to the legends that keep us rocking. So many easter eggs. Didn't notice the Mr. Tinkertrain arcade game until the third viewing. Lol.
Ozzys gift to Lemmy for giving him Mama Im Coming Home and a few other songs. Kindve sad this couldnt be included on the new Motorhead best of album but glad to see Ozzy dropping this at its release date to help out. 12/28/15 RIP Lem 🤘
I can't figure out what the "HBJ" means on the front of the Mr. Crowley van. I also like that the font for the Mr. Crowley is like the font used for Diary of a Madman. One of the arcade games is called Mr. Tinkertrain as well and that's the first track from No More Tears. Plus the constellation making a polka dot Flying V is a clear tribute to Randy.
We are immensely grateful to Ozzy Osbourne and Lemmy Kilmister for being rock'n'roll icons and inspiring generations of musicians and fans around the world. His contributions to music cannot be overstated, shaping the genre and leaving an everlasting legacy. Lemmy and Ozzy personified the essence of rock'n'roll, defying convention and living a life dedicated to music and passion for art . Their undeniable talents and captivating personalities continue to inspire and influence musicians and fans of all ages, leaving an indelible mark on music history. we love you Ozzy.
I like how Lemme just casually punches a demon in the face after witnessing Ozzy turn into a giant flying green demon like, "Damn! How the f'd he do that not teach me how!?"
Thought it was pretty cool with Ozzy and Lemmy playing an arcade game in the beginning, because Lemmy probably would be down at the Rainbow right now trying to run up the high score on the video poker machine if he were still with us.
@@sumthingwikked4257-- That'd be an interesting plot twist in a story. God makes the Devil. Millennia later, God says fuck it and takes over Hell as Lemmy, thus uniting all the realms in rock-'n'-roll. Meanwhile, the folks who used to call rock "evil" are left wailing in the corner.
In case you didn't know... Mastermind behind Dethklok music started his own project. Branden Small's Galaktikon. Have fun tuning in, shit is like the good old Dethklok.
It's such a tiny detail, but at 0:04 Lemmy uses his thumb to hold the stick on the arcade cabnet back while he downs his shot. That's legit the kind of thing someone actually playing a game with some skill would do. Most animators would just have him let go of the stick while drinking. Chef's Kiss to that little touch.
Another interesting little detail is that when the big bad guy transforms and Ozzy gives a shocked expression, for a split second his glasses flash letting you see his eyes, which adds to the scene really well.
I’m only 26, my Dad grew up in that era. God bless his soul, I honestly just assumed it was something everyone did when they had a drink they wanted to finish? 😂
Sometimes I dream that it would be badass to have all the legends back at their best age to have one massive hell of a show at one stage. Unfortunately, these are just dreams. It was a blast to see Lemmy rocking again, even if it's just an animation. Best wishes to Ozzy.
It's hard to believe that 30 years ago... I stood in line at Believe in Music, to purchase No More Tears. Also bought, by Randy Rhoads tribute t-shirt at the same time. And it still fits. But I'm right there with you man... 30 fucking years... where did the time go?

I'm surprised this hasn't happened, the metal community is a massive place to be able to support these kinds of projects
And they could be voice actors
(The joke is that lemmy is dead)
(The other part is that lemmy isnt dead)
(Because lemmy cant die)
Better. Team with monsters and demons to fight the bigots
There's no way to over-emphasize my satisfaction when Ozzy beat the alien monster-boss by biting its head off.
It's absolutely perfect.
Yes, he beat the bat-like creature by biting it's head off.
And when Lemmy punched the creature without even looking at it and it went flying😂
The world needed this, made me feel a lot better than I have in a while. LONG LIVE OZZY! ROCK IN PEACE LEMMY! LONG LIVE ROCK & ROLL!
I agree, this made me very happy. I feel better.
MAINLY FOR ME A BRAZILIAN BOY THIS SONG IS GREAT AND I CAN SAY THE SAME PROUDLY ABOUT THE SINGERS
Don't feel bad. Everything is going to be okay. We have to go through A to get to B
Lemmy did not die. He just went home.

Ozzy and Lemmy!! What two true icons!
What a day! What a lovely day!
I would totally watch an animated series featuring Lemmy and Ozzy adventures.
This is brilliant!
it would be really hard to find a voice actor for lemmy tho
This Will be fantastic !!! Maybe a cómics too !!!
For some reason I feel if that actually happened it would be along the lines of Henry and Glenn.
Honestly, In a sort of a weird way I think this video is the most beautiful homage to Lemmy that it could be... He's always gonna be missed.
I can't believe it's been 7 years... I mean, I know he's gone, but it feels like it's been 3 years at most.

This is the ultimate memorial to Lemmy and his legacy along with Ozzy and his legacy. Motörhead was what got me through a lot as a kid I was into older music and it helped me cope. It taught me when I was getting bullied to defend myself and not back down. It warms my heart to see this much dedication put into remembering Lemmy and Ozzy’s careers. I remember watching the full livestream of Lemmy’s funeral. I wish I could’ve met Lemmy in person just to thank him but I’m sure that day might come again…
I know man, it makes me want to cry, and that's what music is about, envoking raw emotions, this does it perfectly.
indeed sir 🤘
I miss lemmy man möterhead was killer
So what your saying is this would have been a great Saturday morning cartoon series. It would have been better that all that other dribble that The networks aired and it would have been inspirational.
This is the way this song should have been released 30 years ago when it was recorded. I'm glad it finally came together properly. It was worth the 30 year wait. Edit: It could've been 40 years and it would be worth it.
Yeah, some youtuber had mashed up ozzy and lemmy years ago. It was great, wasn't perfect but close enough for me.
@@lotsapasta0858 good enough, considering how Lemmy and ozzy recorded these months(or a year) apart. I'm not sure who animated this, so I'll reserve judgement. It's still great

Ozzy also did guest vocals on I Ain't No Nice Guy on Motörhead's March Or Die back in '92. It's a soft track but still gold.
The only versions that existed were the Ozzy version from No More Tears and the Motörhead version from March or Die. This is a new version they just mashed up to commemorate the anniversary.
There's one fan made version that is actually better than this one
Hearing the legendary voices of Ozzy Osbourne and Lemmy Kilmister in the same song, just might be one of the most beautiful, and metal, things I've ever heard.

Everybody talking about Lemmy and Ozzy, but can we take a minute to appreciate that the included Philthy Taylor aswell?
If only they could've included Fast Eddie, Mikkey Dee, and Phil Campbell, too. Maybe have Mikkey Dee under the hood of the van, whacking it with a wrench or something.

Ozzy turned info a demon
I love that Ozzy is like a necromancer with dark spells and stuff and Lemmy is a berserker rampaging everything on his way
A warlock you mean? I think in the wow commercials he played back in early 2000s he picked Undead Warlock as his representative class and said that there can only be one prince of darkness.
You could say Ozzy conjured Lemmy~ Necromancy 100
They're both Bards (obviously), though Ozzy Multi-classed into Warlock while Lemmy has few levels in Barbarian.
Lol.
Ozzy is called "The prince of darkness". So with this nickname people normally imagine a dark magick. I think this is the reason.
I lost it when the prince of darkness used black magic from the diary of a madman to summon bats and turn himself into a demon🤘
@@steveeveslage4873 or how the animator gave lemmy his skin tags on his cheek

One of the arcade games is called Mr. Tinkertrain as well and that's the first track from No More Tears. Plus the constellation making a polka dot Flying V is a clear tribute to Randy.

Takes an old schooler to spot that. I did too and I was looking for it (whenever I see arcades). We are old, but hey...
@@hristiyanhristov2480 Bro, that was our version of, "Hold my Beer"
Another interesting little detail is that when the big bad guy transforms and Ozzy gives a shocked expression, for a split second his glasses flash letting you see his eyes, which adds to the scene really well.
I’m only 26, my Dad grew up in that era. God bless his soul, I honestly just assumed it was something everyone did when they had a drink they wanted to finish? 😂
