@1:05 Mindlessly exercising? - wow, who does this? "Sorry Honey, I'm going to be a hero by getting some exercise right now.." Exercise is a great stress relief and can give ourselves time to process our thoughts and emotions. Do it whenever you can. @1:25 Blaming yourself, like, "I should be/do.." is good as a correctional process. But anything that we repeatedly dwell upon to the exclusion of healthy thoughts is excessive. Anything excessive is not good. Balance in everything, as much as it lies within you is the target. Thanks for the video, we need to keep the Drama Triangle in mind.
Thank you! Excellent and concise explanation of the internal/external human dynamic! Great example of how RUclips can help change the world! Jesus saves to the uttermost by setting us free from ALL bonds of habit, programming, and environment 🙏✨✝️🤍🕊️ put your faith in His finished work today and see what God will do 🙌
Great video!! Thank you for explaining the roles we play IN RELATION TO OURSELVES and how we play the roles first within ourselves and then project them out onto others. VITAL vital point. I would add another word to the presence archetypes - EMPOWERED :)
Yes is normal. In a discussion with your love ones (if the discussion happening unconsciously) you can easily be the three of them as the conversation/situation develops. Even after the discussion you can still be any of those roles.... I mean after the argument I keep been a victim and blame everything on my wife... that happen when i engage in the argument without self awareness.
Interesting material, in the right hands and right minds. But not if it's being used by someone who is using it as a weapon to hit someone over the head with, with an overzealous ambition to reform someone whom they personally have chosen to reform. That's how I came upon this video...some well-intentioned individual took it upon themselves to give me some unsolicited advice.
+Sarah Nolt yes we agree that this map can certainly be used as a weapon if we offer advice from within the triangle. It takes practice to learn how to offer feedback off the triangle and we appreciate that your overzealous friend is toddling. Regardless of how you got here, we are thrilled to have you join us in the journey of learning to be more conscious. Hope you enjoy some of our other videos.
+The Conscious Leadership Group, My "friend" issued unsought for advice re my online business, and used words such as cyberbully, monster and creepy regarding me, and gave me this drama triangle link to educate myself as to what she meant. She informed me that she recently attended a Mindfulness Leadership Summit in Washington, D.C. Clearly, something got her "weaponized". It's a very interesting time on the planet right now!
The term 'drama triangle' is already taken. I found this confusing as I didn't at first realise this video isn't about the 'drama triangle' used by Eric Berne in Transactional analysis. It was proposed by San Francisco psychiatrist Stephen B. Karpman. See Wikipedia.
They shouldn't spell Villain correctly because if they did, they would have to repost the video and lose all of the ranking it now has so more people can see it. And we empathisze with your "editor" many of us cringe too and we use the video to practice staying above the line.
Cheers. Watched this curtsy of NHS Elect. I was expecting to see a clip on 'Manager or Leader?' Instead the link took me to 'Drama Triangle'! Interesting concept. Will update provider too.
Working in the "presence" triangle: The company does not want to deal with valid complaints and valid critique, where it is appropriate. I am working at a company, that works like that. Where everything is braised and displayed in a positive light. Every week at thursday we have a 2 hours presentation of what has been "accomplished" and what kindergarden party has been celebrated at different offlice locations around the world. I am really sick of this fakeness.
I’ve watched a countless number of these videos and the triangle shit doesn’t make any sense! 😂 What does any of this have to do with real life? I don’t know! Maybe I’m just slow. 😂 I watched several times and I am honestly at a loss! I just cannot grasp this concept for some reason. 😢
You need to acknowledge TED The Empowerment Dynamic- David Emeralds work that is trademarked and precedes this and is based with permission on Stephen Karpmans drama triangle - which you don’t acknowledge either! So great drawing but not original ideas based on others work
wow! Such a brilliant video! I especially liked the conscious side of the triangle. Thank you!

Excessive exercise can be a form of anorexia. “Should” is a job. That’s fine as long as you don’t give yourself too heavy a job.
I'm impressed by the speed at which this artist works 😮
This is the empowerment dynamic (TED*) created by David Emerald. He deserves to be credited in this video as does Karpman for the drama triangle.
Both are credited in their book that this video is a supporting resource for. And it would be nice to see that here on RUclips too.
No 🥰
Amazing video thankyou! Very interesting
I really like the concept. I may use this in my work. Thank you

well created video - it would be helpful though to to see examples of the creator, challenger and coach roles in action.
this is a fantastic video, thanks for sharing

Great video
I can relate to being the hero, villain, and victim all at the same time lol

How is this video created. Love the animation

This happened three years ago, and, I'm just fine. Thank you. :) @@gaebren9021
@@sarah_jane9131 Just checking in.:-)
Great explanation of the Karpman Triangle. I love how you describe the references to ourselves
I want to know more about working from PRESENCE!!
Check out al of our resources at www.conscious.is/resources.

It was very helpful to recognize my pattern and to know what to do instead, I am buying the book too soon.
I must be a villain, because I can't get past their misspelling of "villian". 😢

Hero of the drama triangle
It's OK if text is just on-screen folks, I simply do not need it to be pretend-sharpied in every video I ever watch.
Critical concepts for any organization attempting to achieve a positive culture change via Lean Six Sigma or any other program
Yeah okay. .. but what does this look like in real life?
.
We recommend you read our book, The 15 Commitments of Conscious Leadership, to understand what this looks like in delay life.
So in other words, nobody cares about each other.
really annoying hand animation gets in the way and looks silly. Font doesn't match the style.
yeah and credit the author
And where is feminism on this map?
Hey, why did it suddenly get so quiet in here?
I’m too pessimistic for this bullshit.
Great video!
