    Hey Kevin, I really want to say this. I am a visually impaired person who happens to love aircraft and travel. Your narration helps me to follow the video without any hiccups. I really appreciate the efforts you are taking to come up with such good narrations. Also, whenever I am watching any of your videos there is something to learn so I can see how much research goes into giving authentic information. I am requesting you to include narrations in all of your videos. Please don't stop them. It helps people like me to get an authentic experience. Putting ads into videos is a-okay for me (and will be something I do in the future) becuase they don't impact the impartiality of the creators opinion of the airline they're reviewing. Yet another low cost Indian airline is the first thing coming to mind. I have traveled to India several times for the past 15 years ( last time Nov 2022) and have seen several low cost airlines come and go. I can remember 2 that I frequented Kingfisher and Jet Airways. Also about to ride into the sunset is Vistara because of Tata acquisition of Air India. Delays in boarding and take off are not because Akasa is new but more so the norm in India travel. Just imagine doubling the number of flights in the country?

    • @tfft
      @tfft  Год назад

      Your analysis seems a bit broad. Jet and Kingfisher were not LCCs as we know them today and IndiGo is India’s largest carrier, 8th largest in the world and last year had one of the best on time records globally.
      Some smaller airports may struggle but major improvements underway/completed at the three main hubs (DEL, BOM, BLR) will serve the expansion well.

    No matter how many airlines keep coming here pricing of tickets will only decide the fight between railways and airways. Already trains r improving and prices of ac fares reducing .airlines finding very hard to reduce costs

    • @tfft
      @tfft  Год назад

      I disagree. There will surely always be a place for trains in Indian travel- likely it will continue to expand and improve over time- but India’s traveling market is not finite like it is in fully developed countries.
      In France, if the rail improves so much and is so much cheaper than flying then eventually everyone will just take the train.
      But in India, I reckon the rise of the middle class will fuel a traveling surge that the rail and aviation market will be struggling to keep pace with for decades to come.

    Why does my brain read this airline name as "Alaska" rather than "Akasa" 🤷‍♀️. That caramel popcorn did look good, l once watched a trip report, and l think it may have been a US carrier, they served freshly popped popcorn on board and all l could think of was how good that would smell throughout the cabin but also how it could be jarring hearing a whole lot of popping going on. OK that's my useless piece of information 🙃

    • @tfft
      @tfft  Год назад +1

      They served fresh popcorn on my Vistara flight from Delhi to Paris. And I never saw Alaska but have always read “a casa” (to/at home, in Spanish)… but I suppose that’s bc I speak Spanish lol.

    Is anyone is willing to shed some info,
    If you would notice, you would see Indian Airlines having Indian Flag near the front door.
    airlines of other countries don't do that... So why does our airlines do that? Is it their Patriotism ? Or is it there any rules regarding this?

    post covid inflation in India has been very visible in in-flight food prices. In IndiGo, I used to buy a chicken Junglee sandwich for INR 250, and now they charge 600. Akasa Air was charges 500 for a kathi roll today. These are 5 star level prices in India, but for an average-tasting item at best 🥲🥲
