Great review Kevin. Having stayed at The Park Hyatt Bangkok 5 or 6 times, for exactly the reasons you mention, I agree with everything you say. It’s a great hotel, in a good location at a brilliant price point (globally speaking). Have recommended it to many of my friends and no one comes away disappointed. Keep up the great work Kevin - I love your channel.

Hey Kevin! Such great reviews! The video quality indeed being better each day!! Also the backsound.. it’s a very nice one.. I felt the excitement to explore every corner of the hotel.. love it and thank you!!!🎉
Waited for this so long and loved it! My family and I spent 5 nights in room 3012 also, and we loved it. Fully agree with the review in particular the food and hospitality during breakfast. That was really next level. And honestly before booking this hotel we were in a limbo with Rosewood next door. Hopefully you’ll review there too. You’re the best, Kevin.
Yet another fantastic, interesting, entertaining and useful report - many thanks! Great to see your followers, views and thumbs-up increasing - very much deserved!
I was eager to see your review of this hotel as it's my go-to in Bangkok. You nailed it. Especially the summary. I get the urge to explore other hotels whenever I have a reason to stay elsewhere in the city, but the Park Hyatt is just too nice & comfortable to pass up (esp for globalists).
Yeah, it’s quite incredible what happens when a hotel group actually does focus on its top tier guests 😂. I have two nights in Bangkok coming up and have a long list of hotels I ‘should’ be staying at… but I also have a Hyatt booked haha.
I’ve been waiting for this review! Last time I chose a hotel in Bangkok it was because of your Kimpton video and I think you’ve done it again with this one! Park Hyatt Bangkok is amazing, especially the pool area, very expensive burgers though haha (I checked the pool bar menu prices).
Go and eat in the Basement level of Siam Paragon next time, restaurant Quality Meals for no more than $7-10USD I don’t get why Burger King & Mc Donald’s is so expensive there either!
Thank you for the continued great work. As a globalist, after watching your video, I booked 4 nights in Feb. Unfortunately their deluxe suite was not available. But I used my SUA for the park suite king. I am sure it would be as great
So true… Bangkok is the Best place to Stopover city to stay when travelling from from Australia to Europe, for under $100AUD. You can get a good 4 star a hotel, whereas in Singapore ( another favourite stop over for me) $100AUD gets you a 3 star hotel, Namely in the Hotel 81 chain.. The Park Hyatt is centrally located as you turn east and you have a 10 min walk to Sukhumvit, turn west and in 10 mins you walk towards Siam Paragon, which would be one of the top luxury malls ( alongside Icon Siam) with great dining options to match. Also it’s around the corner from Ratchaprasong and. A 15 min walk to the Pratunam Market. By the way the Sky Bridge is actually known as the skywalk. Great review by the way!
Finally a video on my favourite Bangkok hotel. Great video as always Kevin. You should check out Grande Centre Point though. Not a lot of videos on them online. Hilton Pattaya would be nice too.
Will keep this hotel in mind when booking our trip to Thailand hopefully next year. Looks stylish without being contrived (apart from the bar which is not my vibe). Thank you for another great review 🙏🏼💫
I love each and every one of your videos, Kevin! I hope you don't mind, but I pause each of the info pages embedded within your video, and take a while to digest the content and take some notes for future trips. Lol. I love your breakfast scorecard towards the end!! I'm definitely going to give this hotel a try. Normally, I stay at the much older Shangri-La in Bangkok, for location and service, not architecture. You've kinda sold me on the Park Hyatt! Happy travels, Sir!! and thanks for the amazing content. xx
A stunning hotel and pool and an amazing review Kevin! If in Siam-Sukhumvit for luxury this review made me consider the Park Hyatt but I prefer staying on the riverfront and love staying at the Peninsula!
I'd been thinking that before my stay, but since the corner couldn't be guaranteed in any way, getting the Suite was better than just a high floor room- especially considering the hotel was near capacity!
The mattress was Slumberland (no specific markings) and the topper was Ownia 10% Goose Down 90% Goose Feather (5220g for 180cm). Ownia for pillows as well 30% Goose Down 70% Goose Feather (50x75 1250g). Thanks very much for the support ❤️
Stayed there the first time shortly after they opened in 2017 since they offered amazing rates, have been back there 3 times now and even though I have tried other hotels in BKK this one remains my favourite!
Good review as always Kevin & agree with your BKK comments - So much good choice. Would be good if you could swing by the Shangri La to see what your thoughts would be. Recommend you get an Horizon Club floor room to enjoy the "full" experience. Keep it up!
Also my favorite hotel in BKK for the price and location. One tip if using a grab for pickup, manually move the pin further out onto the main road. The default pin has the drivers going into the mall.
Hi Kevin - Big big fan of your series, so thank you for the detail and stats for each video. Your reviews are always the best. Question: What brand of carry-on luggage do you use, and is it a two or four-wheeled model? Thanks!
You have status with Hyatt😅, you hit that right. Although Park Hyatt is an excellent hotel the choices are quite overwhelming for it to stand out. The power of distribution channels and I think this is one of the better executed Park Hyatt😘. Love that you forced yourself to film only one day😇
I'm a huge fan of your videos, Kevin! If I can provide a bit of constructive feedback? Check out 'Shutter Speed' as a filming concept! There are certain shutter speeds which will completely hide the flickering lights you see in your videos! To minimize flickering lights in videos, it’s recommended to shoot at frame rates divisible by the electrical frequency of that country (50 Hz in Thailand, for example). For example, shooting at 50 fps instead of 60 fps with shutter speeds adjusted to intervals like 1/100, (try to at least "double" the frames per second for your denominator, also known as a 180° shutter) can help reduce or eliminate the flickering effect! It's hard to explain adequately in a RUclips comment, but I'm sure it will lead to less distraction from the flickering effect in your future videos.
Thanks and yeah I’m aware of the conversions, but those don’t work for modern LEDs. Some LEDs flicker especially during movement regardless of Hz or frame rate- something I experimented with a couple years ago when LEDs became more prevalent. Plus, I film with iPhones, so 50fps isn’t an option 😃
When in Bangkok, I seem to be at hotels near places you reviewed. My last trip was to the Grand Centre Point Rachadamri, a street down from the Hansar, and my next trip will be the GCP Ploenchit, across the street from the Central Embassy.
Thanks! How can you not mention the extensive and amazing art collection at display in this amazing hotel? For me this is one of the reasons to go.The art is all over 😊
Great vid. The PHB is a great hotel, but if you want to see the best pool at a 5-star in BKK check out the Conrad. It is an oasis in the chaotic cacophony of BKK. Huge area, a super large pool, and amazing landscaping. The location of the Conrad however is the worst thing about it.
Nice review Kevin! We have stayed at Park Hyatt Bangkok last year and last January. Had a wonderful experience. Looking forward to more videos specially hotel reviews. Cheers!

You're not alone. As filmmakers even some of the greats have the same problem. Just look at Kevin Costner with An American Saga, or Ridley Scott with Napoleon. Both films suffered dramatically in the edit because both filmmakers simply shot too much footage. Your vlogs are extremely cohesive compared to those two big budget Hollywood disasters.
I like this hotel, based on your review. And as a globalist, I'm sure will check this out this summer and hopefully able to snatch one of its suite upgrade. Though the hotel looks like, the foods at its restaurant look too American/Westernized, kinda boring. I'd probably be doing lot of local dining instead as I want the authentic Thai food.
I also stayed there before, booked through FHR. I was able to use the $100 at the penthouse. However, the way they converted THB to USD at a very low rate upset me. smh
So many good hotels in Bankok, but this definitely one of the best. I've flown MAS/ Malaysian many times but I struggle to remember anything about them. Which tells me they are not good and not bad. Basically Meh.
