  • the stock lights are good, but let's make them better with a 50 set of LED lights, Should take about 15 minutes per side, you'll need a 15 torx head, a 1/4 socket and 1/4 ratchet, take out six screws and one plastic retainer and your in. You'll appreciate the extra light and just as cheap as upgraded light bulbs. This is good for the 2020 2021 2022 2023 2024 Chevrolet Silverado HD with Base lights, and will work with Auto high beams. Both Duramax and 6.6 Gas.
    Everyone please see this correction. the 9005 is not going to work. You will need an H11 or both the high and the low which the link below will cover. Trust me it's two h11s for each side, plug and play. #afflink #affiliate

    Sea light H11 needs four bulbs-no 9005 needed, H11 for both High and low. Pack of 2 link below: you ll need four total h11 bulbs. Don't forget to click the coupon box to get the discounted price.

      So I tried every different kind I've used in the past with canbus and resistors, however, hyperplasia, could not be stopped. @mossman381 absolutely 💯. The rubber can on the back is for dust, air gets to the entire light. I drive always with my headlights on, just what I do. I had these in both my 22 zilla and this truck, the heat is less than the standard bulb and the standard bulb didn't melt anything. I feel that these manage heat better than the standard bulb. The bezels are cooler to the touch than when the incandescent bulb was in it. They must get enough flow around the entire bezel, but they are way cooler in heat.

My question, is the proximity of the pigtail of the two lights going to affect this? I tried to button up the installation a little with one zip tie per lamp. Might it be better to forgo the zip tie on the high beams and let that pigtail hang a bit lower in that cavity?

Its frustrating, but contact sea light and they'll need to be swapped out with new ones, but the6ly are really good about taking those back and replacing them at no cost. I'm bummed that this has happened with probably 30 people that did this swap, because it shouldnt happen. I'll apologize for them, but other than the time it won't cost more to get them replaced. I used to run the 200 dollar bulbs from other companies and encountered some flicker and got my money back and found sea light and I've never regretted it. I've bought 20 sets for all of our cars and never had flicker. But some Will as I did with the other companies. If you got then from the Zahn, you can just return or exchange them. Again bummer and so sorry that you had this. I know that once you get the new set they will be worth the time.

    I just installed the Sealight in my 2024 Chevy 2500 LT in one side. When turning the low beams the light was white and bright as I wanted. The original yellow is so old fashion, I cannot believe Chevrolet is putting this on in a new truck. Anyway, when I turn on the high beams I notice some flickering in the high beams but occasionally in the low beams too. Turning off high beams, the low are more stable but not 100%. I swap the lights and used the other box I have for the other side and the result was the same. I contacted Sealight and they told I may need a decoder. At this point, adding another harness, I thought it was too much wires already, so I decided to return it. Sorry, but at least for me it did not work out for some reason.

      Sorry to here that, there was one other watcher who said that he got a bad set, re ordered and returned the flickering ones and was all good. Flickering is definitely not right. • @automotiveinquiries9673
      @automotiveinquiries9673  6 месяцев назад +2

      Yes and I apologize for this, and the video had already went up and was rolling. So chevy says its an h9 and h11, however the h9 connector on the bulb,
      Not just the led, was different. The chevy wiring connector was the same on both high and low and an H9 bulb smaller. As I was looking at it the connector it was the same as the h11 instead. So I updated the description and the link. They come in a set of four, but you'll need 4 h11s, and you'll have no issues, thousands have done this swap with the 4 h11s, from this video.
