    Note: This video is for educational purposes only and may show street-use content with products that may not be DOT compliant for use on public roads. The video is not intended to imply vehicle-specific street legality. LED and HID bulbs are street legal in the USA for fog light use and not in low beam or high beam headlights because they are not compliant with DOT / FMVSS108. When looking for on-road-use headlight upgrades we recommend DOT-compliant headlight housings, not bulb replacements. Certain specialty vehicles strictly limited to off-street use and not having DOT registration or license plates may use these products exclusively off-streets. International street legality varies by country. For detailed clarification on-street use, go to www.headlightrevolution.com/s...

    Guys, please do a Kia Optima 2011-2015. I wanted to do a retrofit to LED but LED’s on those headlights don’t perform as well as HID’s.
    Have friends that have invested a ton of money on different LED’s and the performance is horrible.
    Been following your channel for a while and never seen a review for the Kia Optima 2011-2015.
    Thanks for all your great content.

    I just bought the fog lights. The clips to the light are vertical for the hook up and on the light no holes line up to align LEDs in the 3&9 position. Now I’m stuck.
    It appears this video shows the clips in the 3&9 position where it inserts however mine are in the 12&6. Would love some advice on what to do next

    On the 3500hd series, must remove quarter panel stabilizer bars to remove air box and for hand access.
    Also, with second battery, it is helpful to remove front driver side battery.

      The three all came out very good, but the GTR Lighting Ultra 2 bulbs definitely took the win here! 💡 They have performed incredibly well in nearly every test we've had them in!

    Thank you for the video! Do you guys recommend the anti-flicker harnesses that’s an option for the GTR bulbs? For a 2019 3500HD?

    Great video, I'll be going with the GTR Ultra. One question for those that have installed them on a Silverado. Did you need the anti-flicker harness? They don't mention it in the video. I call Headlight Revolution and the person told me I may need it since the DRL and the low beam headlights are the same bulb. Would like to confirm with someone that has installed these lights. Thanks!

    Can you use a LED bulb even if the truck comes with a factory installed HID bulb with projector housing? It looks like my high beams and fog lights both have Halogen bulbs but my DRL/low beams come installed with a HID bulb and a projector housing.

    • @HeadlightRevolution
      @HeadlightRevolution  Год назад

      You can't replace HID with LED, even if you found a way to make it work it would result in less overall light output.

    • @MacGyverUK
      @MacGyverUK Год назад

      @@HeadlightRevolution Are you saying that the led wouldn't work because it wouldn't plug in correctly into the factory wiring harness or you can't use an led bulb in a projector housing because it would provide less light output?

    • @HeadlightRevolution

      You can't and shouldn't use it for both of those reasons.

    Why does my 2015 silverado 1500 need a resistor , using sealight bulbs

    • @HeadlightRevolution
      @HeadlightRevolution  8 месяцев назад

      Due to the CANBUS system, some LEDs require additional resistors to prevent hyperflashing or bulb out warnings.

    Why don't you actually answere the legitmate questions that have been asked such as do I need the anti flicker harness or not for a 2023 Chevy 3500HD. Here's your chance to actually give a complete response giving us a definate yes or no and stop dancing around the question, do your job.

    • @HeadlightRevolution
      @HeadlightRevolution  5 месяцев назад +1

      We have not had a 2020+ Silverado HD in the studio for HR-Tested to be able to verify this fitment, which is why we haven't said yes/no. This vehicle is on our list, but it takes time finding the correct vehicles locally to test on. 15-19 HD models do not require resistors, and it's unlikely the 2020+ models do as well.

      @@HeadlightRevolution So you sell a product you haven't tested yet and expect us to spend our own money doing just that. Good to know. I would suggest that you advertise just that having customers being a beta testor. What a scam.

    • @RyanStyles44

      @@petebusch9069 Easy now tiger... How is this a scam?
      They are selling LED bulbs that fit a specific headlight design. eg: 9005 or H11
      This video simple shows the light output of a high quality bulb. Could they do a better job at trying to find this information for YOU specifically? Sure, that would be helpful..
      My guess is that these guys are the owners of @headlightrevolution, which means they are also the janitors, the shippers, marketing managers, and customer support reps.

      @@petebusch9069you seem like you'd be fun at parties.
      Like, do you actually think a retailer personally tests each and every individual item a particular brand offers?
      Do you actually believe a brand that has a history of excellence (like GTR, Morimoto, etc...) would give anyone a reason to NOT continue recommending them as a brand, given their superior track record?
      How TF do you shop at Walmart knowing the staff hasn't tested or tasted ever single thing in the store?
      Dude, get outside and touch some grass.
      It's clear you're only here to be negative and complain about things you were never going to buy anyway.
