Great Video!!! I was thinking about it until you sealed the deal. Also got almost $60 off using your discount code. Can't wait to install them (minus the rear caps LOL)
I installed Hikari LED bulb in van about 2 years ago for the same reason you stated. It worked great...for about 6 months. one was fine, the other was very dim. I took it out and the connectors were corroded even though they came with nice looking rubber seals. I asked a friend that was a FORD tech at a Ford dealership about dielectric grease. He said they use it on all electrical connections they install. He said just squeeze it in there. I also asked a electrical engineer I know. He said the same. I bought a new set of lights, filled up the connector with the dielectric grease. Tested it, worked great! Almost two years now and they are still working great. My two cents.
Great video. I recently purchased a 2024 Silverado 2500 LT and like you said, it was astonishing how bad the factory headlights are at night. I just installed the lasfit headlight bulbs and it is unbelievable how bright they are. I also installed the lasfit reverse lights and highly recommend those as well! Especially for trying to hook up to trailers in the dark.
I went LTZ on my 2024 2500. I’m glad I did. The only lighting upgrade I did was the license plate lights. Thankfully I got the updated tail light modules so no upgrades are needed. They are full LED’s.

My 2024 2500hd duramax ZR2 package headlamps are amazing. When ya buy cheap ya buy twice. You already bought the headlamps on the truck, not to mention financed em! now your buying more. Haha!
I just installed my 25 2500 LT. Definitely brighter, but mainly makes thing a lot more clear and that’s nice. Worth the upgrade. Definitely a bit of a bitch, but not hard.
Is there some kind of trick to getting that outer cover on? My truck's sitting? I can't drive it because we can't get that back. Cover to snap on. The top one went on at first but then by the time we got piddled with the bottom one and we still can't get it to click on it gets in there but slides right back off now the top one is sliding right back out. Got to be something we're missing
I found that if you start about half of it and you know it’s on fully. Rotate the cover and press in at the same time. Rotate back and forth while pushing and make sure the outter gasket stays in the correct location while doing this. Perhaps even a little bit of lube around that outter gasket could help things along. I know it’s tricky, but it does work, I promise. Good luck!!
im not a truck person but damn thats a nice truck. but yes LEDs should be standard for the price that we are paying at purchase the technology has been out for years unfortunately as consomers we need a damn vehicle.
Im curious if you saw flickering in the stock headlights before you switched to the LED? Im seeing it now with the stock headlights on dry pavement. I know Im not seeing things because my sons and wife see it also.
They don't ship to Canada, I looked as soon as I saw this video. Any recommendations on someone that makes similar kits and ships north of the boarder?
Great video! I almost went with the same cheaper bulbs you replaced. I'm glad I saw your video before buying them. Have you had to readjust your headlights at all now that they're so bright so oncoming traffic aren't blinded?
Got mine today. Now waiting for a shipping label to ship back. Fan doesn’t work on one. The fans that do work are pretty cheap sounding. I doubt they will last a year but I hope that’s not true. I also got the reverse bulbs and they are cheap. Says on them that polarity doesn’t matter but it sure does. I have the buyers remorse. Update. Lasfit sent replacement bulbs. All fans work now. 👍🏻
Does anyone know if there is any ability to swap LTZ lights into the LT model? Have an LTZ, and the headlights are so nice, but wanna trade down to an LT to save some money…
Did you adjust the headlights after the Lasfit install? I've seen a lot of claims from people who've done this upgrade say they get flashed a lot by other drivers before making the adjustment.
I have a 2024 LT and would like to do this mod. Have you seen ANY issues with these LED’s. The owners manual says not to make this substitution due to potential electrical issues with the truck. I have heard of other people who did this mod and have had problems with other lights on the truck and back up cameras.
My truck in the video is a 2024 LT. Iva had the lights in for well over a year now with zero issues. They don’t flicker, they don’t affect anything else in the truck at all. They just work. I couldn’t recommend these lights anymore. They have been a fantastic upgrade!
These reflector housings are not designed to work properly with LED bulbs. I've tried it on my 2022 Silverado 2500 HD. Even though they look great from the driver's perspective because they do throw more light, the reflector does not focus properly and scatters light into oncoming drivers eyes. You see it ll the time. You need to use these in projector housings or replace the headlight fixture with an LED housing. It's too bad,cuz halogens do suck but just throwing LED bulbs in these will blind oncoming traffic, even if you lower them.
How long did you have to fight with the high beam dust covers. I've been trying for over an hour and can't get either one to seat in. I appear to be maybe 1/8" shy of being able to get them lined up. Is there anything else I can try? Would adjusting the headlight one way or the other offer any assistance?
I started with putting the boot on the difficult side first and kind of rotating the cover on so it kinda slips into place. It was difficult, but I promise it can be done
@@dansproshop After seeing that the hard plastic part of the cover was up against the sheet metal so it couldn't be maneuvered anymore to get the rubber portion seated, I gave up trying to force it on and decided I would try a different approach.
