funny you posted this the same week I built a really similar ramp for my driveway, inspired by your concrete one but made without a trip to home depot using some scraps I had around. The plywood was too thick to bend so I cut it up into strips and laid two layers with glue like floor boards, then some masonite over top. Used a piece of steel shelving support for coping. Made it almost as a gag but it's a ton of fun to be able to take a quick break from working at home a few times a day. It's a good proof of concept of a different way of making a ramp that's strong enough not to need the sides, so you could make a curved one that only works when leaned against a wall
Great stuff! we made a wall ride ramp like this one, my buddy painted WAR on one side with spray paint, so we called it the war ramp! Cookie old skate memories
Great stuff as always. DIY is definitely very inspiring and not as hard to built as I thought. Makes me wanna go out and skate. Well done Zack. Big Al is happy;
Ahhh I love the stoke on Al's face when you said it's for him! Excited to see the other footage from the trip!! Looked like a good time on both of your IGs!
could you do a diy a frame/bump to rail? i was looking to buy one but there too expensive. also could you make more wood ramps i’m loving your content bro!
Dope, next time though put your 2x4 supports upright rather than flat, the 2 inch side will have a more rigid support and prevent flexing. Every 8 inches is the standard for supports but you can get away with every foot to save money and time
great content that you are putting out there !! whats your opinion on deck rails? and i‘ve seen people using only one, whats the difference? have a good one :)
Thanks homie, sometimes I'll put 1 rail on the side of the board I lean into more. So that way you can still have that wood tention/resistant but then lean on one side when you need to slide more.
Tip for next time you cut 2x's, don't make the cut with both ends supported. Let 1 side just overhang so it just drops after, you won't get the binding. Especially if you ever use a circular saw.
The end of this video is my favorite part, stick around! I feel like I need to make one for myself now.
gotta make a second one to put in a spot with two close walls make a little mini vert
@@nikosoup7999 Love that idea!

Thanks again Ronaldo! You're the man. It's always hard when you're thinking about it, I found diving straight in really helps break that ice.

He was hyped!! I guess it wasn't a surprise like I wished because it ended up on insta-story haha
So outside of the box! Love it!

Good Music, Great Vibes! Thank you for the content. ✊🏽💯🎯🔥
Thank you for supporting Nicholas!
Looks awesome! I wonder what’s the radius and height of this ramp?
It's about a 4.5 ft transition, so at 4.5 ft it would be vert.

@Zack Dowdy - what's the music that you used from the middle to the end of the Video?
0:43 Gimmie Danger
Iggy and the stooges riff
