The main difference between a reel life and real life is nothing more than reality itself.
A reel-life consist of a single person and his audience. Furthermore, a reel-life is what where there are no strict rules, there is the freedom to change while keeping a substantial audience. And you know how it goes: “If you have a community, you can have an economy. So if a person can make a living and spend most of his time living a reel-life, that would be his real-life, the boundaries blur very quickly nowadays. The same goes for the life, you can pick which is the real one and stick to that decision as long as you can sustain yourself.
