The goal is salvation. God says He helps you overcome sin and rule over him. Repentance is a MUST if you sin (as a Christian), you’re in a relationship with God AND He teaches you HOW TO WIN by grace through faith. IF you sin, confess your sin and God is faithful and just to forgive your sin. 2 Corinthians 7: 10, “ For godly sorrow works repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world works death.” AND 1 John 2 is written to Christian’s about how to live and what to do IN CHRIST. Repentance is necessary, without it you’re not doing your part in the relationship. You’re in a relationship with God by faith in Christ. You can ONLY be in that relationship, because Jesus Christ was righteous and He paid your debt for sin (death) and He rose again ALIVE from the dead to make you righteous. Faith believes I am made righteous by the works He did. Then we live by faith…trusting that God’s got our back and we’re saved by His grace and mercy. Have faith in God. He will do what He says He will AND you follow Him (do what He teaches): love God and love other people HIS way. Faith has works, but it doesn’t work TO BE SAVED. Faith involves a fight, but it’s a fight of your spirit (will) against your body (desires of the flesh, physical) (Romans 7:21-25). God says in His word that He will help you (out of His love and mercy) to win that fight (Romans 8) BY FAITH IN THE LORD JESUS CHRIST. God helps you get your body UNDER subjection to what your spirit desires (God) and what your body desires (earthly pleasures, whether unnatural or natural). God saves you by faith, but faith works by love AND you won’t find how to REST in Christ’s work until you believe. Faith is entering the fight with the belief that you will OVERCOME SIN AND RULE OVER IT, because God will HELP you do it. God doesn’t force you to change…He does it AS you submit more and more of yourself in the relationship. He teaches you how to fight against your fleshly desire BY HIS SPIRT through faith. Anyway, there’s so much to know BUT ask God to give you His Spirit and power. He will. You have to know God by faith in the Lord Jesus Christ AND you rest in His works and His righteousness. I’m righteous because Christ made me righteous. I’m being made righteous by faith in Christ because I submit to God (by faith) out of sincere love (for God). I’ll be presented as righteous because GOD WORKS in me to be able to will (desire) to do God’s will and puts within me the ABILITY to do God’s will. Faith confesses sin and godly sorrow (for that sin) works repentance. You’re losing the fight because you have to fight until you give up on YOU being able to do God’s will WITHOUT God’s help. Have faith in God, doesn’t mean give up. It means give up on accomplishing a work of God WITHOUT His power and without His Spirit. It believing what God says. Jesus Christ said the word of God (as it is written, is truth) AND that He is Truth (the Word of God made flesh).
Some people he takes the desires from. Some he changes all together. And some he allows to live through the desires. The important part is Christ above all else and to allow the Holy Spirit to do what he pleases in you. God bless you brother.
@@christianconvos I know what I’m about to say is something that may be controversial but I am interested to know your opinion. I started experiencing SSA around the age of 12. By my late teens I had started giving into those feelings and was watching gay p*rn. By my early twenties I was living a complete homosexual lifestyle. That lifestyle lead me into a very dark and lonely place filled with idols. I was extremely vain, over sexualized, and very perverse. It seemed that the more I dated men and gave into the temptation to act on homosexual feelings, the more lust and perversion that grew inside of me. And the more lust and perversion that grew inside of me, the more dark my heart and mind became. I soon found myself in a world of vain conceits/idols. Drugs, Alcohol, partying, prostitution, orgies, etc… If it was a work of the flesh, I was involved in it. By 32 years old I had given my life to Christ and one of the very first things I asked the Holy Spirit was “if being gay was wrong, show me”. Soon after, I was convicted that it’s not the feelings that are “wrong”, it’s the giving into them and acting on it that is a sin. He showed me that the feelings themselves are simply a perversion of what God intended the design to be for mankind. A “twisting” of what God has in mind for his creation. In other words, unnatural. God has since shown me the roots of my homosexual feelings and tendencies. He hasn’t shown me how to get free from them or how to overcome them fully…..YET. Everyday I battle to keep my mind pure and to let God’s will be done in my life. I live a celibate lifestyle. One of denying myself and perusing purity. I do have peace and joy at times, but often find myself wanting a normal relationship with a woman and the “family life” However, my attraction to men is as strong as ever and I don’t know if I’ll ever be “free” from it. I realize my story is my own and not everyone has the same experience and opinions that I do. I believe in my spirit that homosexuality is unnatural and from Satan. I believe he finds a way in to a young developing mind and uses fears/insecurities to drive people into all different kinds lusts, desires, perversions, and immoralities. I believe “homosexuality” is one of the MANY things he draws people into through these various temptations. I do believe at one point or another there is demonic power behind the feelings and thoughts of homosexuality. However, after time it becomes a stronghold of the developing mind and eventually becomes a “part” of who we perceive ourselves to be. My question to you is what is your thoughts about what I have just said? And what do you believe is the root cause of these “unnatural” desires? Or do you have an entirely different perspective than I do? I’m genuinely just curious because I believe that the roots and causes of “homosexuality” is unique and varying in every person. However, I believe there are many common threads between all who experience these attractions. Sorry it’s so long lol. Thank you for taking the time to read this. I pray all is well. God bless
I'm struggling with same sex attraction. I'm choosing to live a celibate lifestyle. I liked the point of where it's about what God wants us to do, not what I want to do. I'm learning that at the moment. I walked away from Christianity for a while because of this issue. Now, I'm heading back to Christianity. Your video has helped me with that.
While to be physically intimate with a spouse is God’s plan; if you’re committed to celibacy because of ssa, then I’m sure that our life in heaven will be more satisfying and fulfilling as a reward than the gratification one experiences during sex because as the word says, there will be no marriage in heaven which precludes the act of intimacy itself. As a man who’s been celibate my whole adult life, it’s gotten easier really since you don’t miss what you don’t have. The feelings of ssa are still there after all these many years and I wish God would’ve changed that part of me when I believed but then there’s the problems one faces in straight relationships too. Learn to live life with the grace that God has shown us because in light of eternity, our lives here are so brief in comparison. Thanks Jack for sharing your thoughts on how to navigate life as a ssa person.
this was my reply to video. I am seeking help, not justification for my ssa. @glen3257 30 seconds ago (edited) I am who you are talking about.. sort of. I turn 55 in November. Going on 55 years struggling and from the age of 7 to age 47 I knew and believed I was damned to hell. I lived those years mad at God for making me this way. But after three times crossing over... Twice by my choice and actions and once by a drunk driver hitting me head on. I accepted Christ as my savior in 2010 and was baptized after hitting a dear on my Harley and years of rehabilitation after I came out of medically induced coma. surgery to save my left arm and years of pt. Jesus Christ is my lord and savior. My life story is way to long for a comment here. The sort of is because I am bisexual. I truly believe God knows our hearts; however I feel romantic with a woman and all that that is as a straight man, while my attraction to men is sexual. I do not hookup with random men as I am all about a connection and not empty sex, whether male or female. I care deeply for friends and the energy shared with one another while being intimate and much more than the sexual part. I have become a hermit for many years now, which is incredibly lonely but I still struggle with giving into my sexual desire even if it is much more than the intimacy. Sorry for such a long comment, just looking for christian guidance. thank you and I live by respect and respect you and others, while struggling to respect myself as a Christian. God bless you and thank you for your Chanel.
This video showed up on my homepage at exactly the right time. You are a wonderfull human being and honestly I can't thank you enough for making video's like this. Ever since I discovered your channel I feel like I'm slowly establishing a better state of mind within myself and a better connection with god. And like you said it isn't always easy to neglect the desire of the flesh but this video definitly helps to try to stay on the right path.
Amen...amen...amen x 1 million times. Wow, brother - this is such an amazing and powerful video! I am sure you helped many people like myself as a same-sex attracted Christian. I can't thank you enough, dear brother for all you do.
well, each person has his/her own unique path of life. being gay or same sex attracted doesn't necessarily mean that one must have sex or live with a partner. same is with straigh/opposite sex attracted people.
This was extremely helpful! Thank you brother of Christ 🙏🏽 I am a same sex attracted individual who became a born again Christian about a month ago and have been given the gift of Celibacy from the Holy Spirit and I felt alone so this video not only was super helpful but it’s good to know I’m not the only one :)
Thank you for making these videos ! I stumbled upon them and have found your videos so encouraging. Keep up the great work ! You are a great blessing to others! 🙏
I am a new Christian. I came out quite young so have always struggled with finding out where I fit in with the church. I have fasted so that the holy spirit could cleanse me and still struggle with thoughts of being condemned because I am not celibate. Now I have come to realise that acceptance of sin and living through grace is what has lead me closer to Him. Thank you so much for this channel and being a guide for those like myself who feel like this. God bless
Thanks for this informative video! This is an important message because many Christians, including myself, have this struggle and It can be very easy to feel alone on this battle. I am currently trying to find a like-minded community near me and would love to connect/ reach out to you when you possibly have the chance!
Your messages are always encouraging, inspiring, comforting, freeing. All the things we so desperately need to keep following our great Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Thank you for your ministry! It is highly appreciated.
Thank you for sharing your testimony on how you live your daily life with this struggle. I had to learn the hard way that I should rely way more in the Lord's plan for me and how much he loves me. Your video really helped me because as you say some days I am weaker and some others I am stronger. I pray that God would be always our strength, especially for those of us who have this struggle. God bless you. pray for you, brother. BTW, new sub.
Thank you so much for sharing. ❤. My parents are/were gay. I used to think they had to stop being gay so they could be saved. Fortunately I learned about free grace (after I quit going to church because of health reasons) and was able to reconcile my relationship with my mom before she was murdered by the hands of the medical model. Moms in heaven now. Please don’t stop what you’re doing ❤
I stopped wanting a same sex relationship after giving my life to the Lord, but I still struggle with my attractions. I don’t want to be alone but I can’t see myself spending the rest of my life with a man… :/
I understand Mary. That's the reason why I have found celibacy to be a good lifestyle choice for me. I definitely would rather marry, but can't see myself spending the rest of my life with a woman whom I am not in love with. God bless you!
57 here and I've struggled with this for most of my life. I see the beauty of women but don't have the emotional attachment to want to be married to one. My affections towards guys seems much more natural to me but yet I don't see me spending the rest of my life with another man...crazy paradox. I've been celibate most of my life but yet crave fellowship and I thank God I have it with a few brothers in the Lord.@@christianconvos
Love you, Brother. I totally understand where you're coming from. I pray that God set you free, and bless you with deliverance. I was a former Homosexual of 45 years: more than half of my life. It's a daily struggle. But I pray that God blesses you with the power of deliverance. Nothing is impossible for Jesus.
Yes, it's not a sin to be tempted but to dwell on the feelings but to resist and of course to do the act or look at it online. I've got to tell myself that constantly, but it's only by God's grace we can overcome it.
Hello , I was following the heterosexual lifestyle for several years. Thanks to god I could leave that lifestyle and my girlfriend. I am gay now and she is lesbian. Since two years I have a boyfriend and we are happy now. I also care much more now on my body, my health, my mind and my soul. Thank you god for your help. ❤❤ Have a great day :)
Thank you. I appreciate your video. I am looking for more fellowship now as a single and celibate man. I’m looking to get more involved at my church and in my neighborhood that I moved to a year ago.
I nearly drank/drugged myself to the point of death. Not an exaggeration. What I learned from all that was many, good, Bible believing, well-meaning folk lied to me. I had to learn to listen to what people say about the Christian life, but use the gift of the Holy Spirit of discernment. God is a very good God, beautiful boy. Please never, ever give up your thirst for knowledge. God bless and best to you.
@@pastorbri When someones grows up in a christian house and they grow up seeing how different people outside of the church act compared to what they have known their whole life, it is totally understandable why someone would want to try to not be ripped from that part of their life that has been so integral to them. I think it starts out of a well meaning place, but there certainly is a very extreme decision and sacrifice you are expected to make when you follow God if you grew up in that sphere that is completely not fair and a struggle. It doesn't help too that for many, the way the LGBT community is framed from within that upbringing makes the tradeoffs seem terrifying and not worth. I love that this dude understands the complexity too and the way he's trying to navigate these waters, even though I worry that ultimately, the sacrifices people make to be celibate in the church may be cope.
God bless you. You are laying up amazing treasures in heaven! Unlike the hypergrace movement that manipulatively preaches staying in sin, this is what TRUE Christians look like, TRUE denying of self and losing your life to gain it eternally. The Holy Spirit strengthens us! "Whoever finds their life will lose it, and whoever loses their life for my sake will find it." Matthew 10:39 But as you said, it is not perfection that is required and God's grace covers us during our times of weakness! Just like the Pharisee and the tax collector :-) Great video
Thank you for your sincere faith. You are doing something powerful for the glory of God. We minister to the homeless and alot of them are lgbtq. We are reflecting about many of these things during this season. I would like to ask: why did you arrive at the pursuit of christian celibacy instead of christian same sex marriage?
Hi Toronto Bible Study, as it says in Acts 16:30-31, we are to "believe on The LORD Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved." In Hebrews 10:12 it says “But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;” and in the Old Testament we see the blood of the lamb on the door of the Israelites as being what caused death to pass over them (a shadow of Jesus Christ's sacrifice). Personally, I see trusting is Christ's sacrifice and trusting in Christ as the same thing, though some people may have a different definition of what "trusting Christ" means. I guess my question for you would be how do you separate the two of them, so I better understand your point?
@@christianconvos Many people do claim they are the same thing, but I separate the two because they are different. One is Him, the other is what He did. They are different. The idea that we should believe "on His finished work" is more of a Christianese slogan than a Biblical prescription in my view. Acts 16:31 says to believe on Him. The other scriptural references you point out are not directly referencing salvation. But other passages that directly reference salvation seem to be advise faith in Him , not in His work (John 1:12; 3:16; 5:24; 6:47; 11:25-27; 20:31; 1John 5:10-13). The Gospel of John says it was written for the unbeliever to believe and get eternal life (John 20:31). No other book of the BIble contains such a purpose statement. The only condition placed on getting eternal life in the book is belief in Him. Some argue we must know Jesus died for our sins, was buried, and rose again (1 Cor 15:1-4), largely because this passage is said to be "the gospel." But gospel means good news and it often appears with other meanings than merely "what we must believe to be saved." This passage says this is the gospel by which the Corinthians are being "saved," but it also says they must "keep in memory" what he preached to them, which is a work (v. 2). This "gospel" also carries on past v. 4 to at least v. 6 or possibly v. 8, yet most people will not say we have to include that information. I think the idea that 1 Cor 15:1-4 is "the gospel" we must believe to be saved from hell is man's tradition. It may seem like semantics, but it may not be. It may be that all a person has to do is believe that Jesus is "the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing ye might have life through His name" (John 20:31; cf. 1 John 5:10-11). If this is so, then insisting that people must believe in His death for sins, burial, and resurrection may actually conceal the gospel and prevent someone from getting saved.Saying someone has to believe on "His finished work on the cross" may be confusing, as with slogans such as "invite Jesus into your heart," and "surrender to Jesus." This kind of language may make it more difficult to be saved, I appreciate your thoughts on the matter, brother. God bless you.
I'm sad. I want a wife and I wanna be married sb but I love God more than anything and i'll be alone if thats whats gonna keep me away from sin. I alr just got out of a long term relationship n I've been buried in the bible bc i cant escape the.emptiness in me and the feeling of wanting to die. Can you pray for me if you see this.
Hello Nevyy, I'm very sorry to hear you've been feeling the way you've been feeling. Breaking up with someone is never easy. I will definitely be praying for you 🙏
Thank you very much for your video! I always have trouble with the idea of obligatory celibacy, I wonder about its relevance in God's plan, but of course one can be very happy remaining celibate, and I wish you that! I think you help a lot of people with your videos. I have a question: what do you think of abstinent couple? Having a boyfriend, doing everything couples do with him, except having sex. God bless you !
Thank you so much David! Regarding an abstinent couple, I have tried that in the past (before I started youtube) but it didn’t work out. That was just my experience personally, but I can’t speak for everyone else. God bless!
Meant to say PITY PARTIES ARE FOR THE WEAK ONES. Just correcting my sentence. And just to repeat, THE ONES WHO CHOOSE TO LIVE A CELIBATE LIFE FOR GOD, THOSE ARE REALLY THE STRONG ONES! Pastor J.W. Brand
I'm a trans girl and want to be a christian but don't know what to do, maybe transition but remain celibate? The bible never talks against transgenderism but it does talk about homosexuality and there's a verse in the old testament about cross-dressing, anyways I'm depressed all the time and have tried to pray the trans away but it just doesn't work, if I transition and have a cis boyfriend I would indirectly be committing homosexuality since we would both be biologically male, I guess the best option is to transition to not be depressed anymore but remain celibate so that I don't commit same sex intercourse (unless I find a trans man)
The bible does talk about it, but it’s a symptom. I’ve been studying this intensity for 4 years now. Growing up with a gay uncle I have always been a supporter of people with these feelings and assumed it’s how people are born. It’s not, it’s a symptom. Look up the changed movement, they might be able to help. Also try and pay attention as to why you don’t feel correct as a male. Queer theory and gender ideology is a lie. Of that I am now certain.
I fell into transgenderism after I got saved as a kid and temptations toward same sex attraction happened to me as well. Jesus was still there helping me understand why His way is better all along the way. Now as a married man I understand Jesus was right all along. It takes time. I get frustrated when I hear people tying our behaviors/works with our salvation. Its a total misunderstanding of how salvation works. We are once saved/justified, always saved/justified by the Blood of Jesus when we first trusted in Him.
Amen brother, mixing our works with salvation does nothing except lead people to confusion, hurt, and doesn’t save anyone. Much love to you brother, God bless!
I'm not meaning to come off as disrespectful so please know my heart as I ask this question, I am a woman who has same-sex relationship and identify as a Christian.. if it's Jesus plus nothing why don't you have a relationship with another male? Why is it wrong to be in the same sex relationship? I'm genuinely asking because I'm trying to navigate how to live a genuine Christian lifestyle
Hello GodsGIft2me! The reason why I do not pursue relationships is because after I got saved, it just didn't sit right with me. I did try dating for a short while a long time ago, but ultimately it felt like there was this "split" between the old man and the new man within me. This was just my personal experience, but it was strong enough to be impactful for me. God bless!
It seems to me it is because people have been convinced that certain men, who had a tiny knowledge of science, psychology, biology, heard from God and wrote that He is really not ok with gay people having relationships.
@@n24913nto answer this, in the bible it states that having and sexual thought or action is a sin outside of marraige, and marraige in the bible is when a man and women get together andcombine under one flesh, so if going from the bible, men and men or woman and woman cant get married. So thats why its a sin.
When You are 65 and denied a life time of intimate relationships might make You Rethink CHOOSING the Guilt Load Thrust upon You by others who enjoy intimate joy and no conscience in telling You to forever deny yourself that they would not a are not doing with out ! Oh how is conversion therapy working today ?😮😢Nothing Changes.
Can you, as a gay guy, not be sexually active and yet live the life of a good christian? Masturbation also being forbidden, what do you do to satisfy your most basic sexual impulses? I don`t think that a 100% life without sexuality is even possible.
But why ?? You just need to stop torturing yourself with stupid beliefs, and live your life joyfully and naturally. I'm sure you'll find a nice boy with whom you'll have a wonderful love story. The only thing stopping you from finding him is yourself.
But it’s not fair that we don’t get to have a significant other while most of the world is enjoying their married life and their kids.. it’s so hard. Why did God give is the hardest struggle of all?
The deeper you read the Bible, the less it makes sense. The Bible was written by man and ripped off other fictional stories. The Bible was translated by man thousands of times to the point where the original meaning of the text is lost. Think about this: if God really wanted us to be good Christians, why didn't he use his divine power to write the Bible, then install a copy of the Bible into everyone's brain when they get born. At least there would be less confusion that way
Be of good courage!! Hold your head up high! GOD has promised a GREAT BLESSING upon those who are declared eunuchs. Read Isaiah 56:4-5. And yes, just as the eunuchs were the "sexually different" in biblical times, those of us who are same-sex attracted today, we can be considered as some of the eunuchs of today. JESUS said it in this way (Matthew 19:10-12), that there are eunuchs born in different ways. HOWEVER, in Isaiah 56:4-5, the LORD tells us eunuchs that if we keep the Sabbaths (the LORD JESUS is our Sabbath rest), and we choose the things that please HIM, and take hold of HIS COVENANT (promise of the HOLY GHOST), that we will have a NAME BETTER THAN OF SONS AND DAUGHTERS (earthly families). A name is the WORD OF GOD always meant MORE than just a name given to us! It had MEANING, PURPOSE, AND VALUE FAR BEYOUND WHAT IT IS THAT WE CAN SEE HERE ON THIS EARTH!!! You are blessed of the LORD, IF you will hear and obey HIM AND HIS WORD. We as eunuchs have to find our purpose that GOD has for us on this earth. And when we do, we will be blessed as we persue GOD'S WILL for our lives. GOD LOVES YOU MORE THAN YOU KNOW!!! HANG IN THERE! GOD HAS A PURPOSE FOR YOUR LIFE RIGHT NOW! Begin to seek the LORD, as ask HIM to show you what it is that HE wants you to dowith your life. And if we ask with a sincere repentant heart, the LORD will hear us and answer us. Remember, those that wiat upon the LORD shall renew their strength! Lots of love in CHRIST JESUS, Pastor J.W. Brand (the eunuch preacher).
He realizes this life is nothing in comparison to ETERNITY!! He wants to end up in glory. I don't blame him. Once this life ends no redos...try and get it right now.
It’s good to seek out other Christian’s that understand your specific struggles. However, the reason you haven’t gotten to the point of NOT conceiving the sin. You still think it (that sin) has a say in who you are.. desire (including sexual desire) is conceived and sin (the act) is born in you by you. Being celibate is something you may choose, BUT it shouldn’t be something you choose because you are not able to overcome sin and rule over it by faith through the Spirit of God and His power. That sin has no part in who you are in Christ, but UNTIL you confront the desires for what they are (sin) and confront the lies that Satan and the world has attached to that particular sin WITH THE truth (Scripture) by the Truth (Jesus Christ) with faith you’ll be hindered by ungodly and unholy desires (just like any other sexual sin). Sexual sin is sexual sin whether it’s fornication, adultery, incest, sodomy, etc.). God does NOT say that you have to be bound by sexual desires (of any kind). He says that He sets you FREE FROM SIN. IF you sin, confess to God by faith in Christ EVERY TIME (it’s God’s Will & it’s essential). God said do it! Do not be deceived, you can ONLY WIN THE WAR AGAINST YOUR SIN GOD’S WAY. Repentance is NOT a one time thing IT’S a lifetime thing. It’s not a denial of faith IT’S a work of faith. God says, “Don’t sin,” so you’re going celibate…GOOD. God says, “Repent, IF you sin,” so why would you drop that step UNLESS your faith is wavering. Do you believe God will do what He says? IF so, then do your part the way He says BY FAITH.
Pray the rosary twice daily go to church several times a week ask god for strength to carry your cross helped me so much with homosexuality my other mortal sins I’m a cradle catholic I took life of celibacy too
I still just do not get why we feel this attraction????? So straight people marry, live a happy religious life along with their partners and we just have to live a celibate, that just does not make sense.
Hello Aaron, I understand that it is hard to struggle with these feelings and I'd be lying if I said I had every answer as to why we feel them. I do believe however, that God can use them for good. God bless!
Please i beg You, leave religión asap i was You 10 years ago AND i was miserable,,, please leave that World there's nothing wrong with us gay people 😢be happy I regret so much yo have been on that lie for so much, no hate❤❤
Hello Rudy, I appreciate your concern, however this is not something I was forced to do. Rather something I am doing of my own accord because I feel this is how God has lead me to live. Hope this clears things up, God bless!
Rudy, I left the evangelical religion, due in no small part to my sexuality. I was gutted. Forced to choose between my spiritual life, community and who I love. That was over 35 years ago. Now happily in a civil partnership and have a wonderful spirituality. God is not a Christian. I still feel attracted and repelled by the church, but being in the twilight zone of Christianity (feeling neither a part of, nor seperate from it) has been so rewarding.
I'm so sorry for you. The fact that you believe you have to mutilate your own sexuality in order to be good in the eyes of a supreme being is something so toxic. Child religious indoctrination should be prohibited.
Hello Alberto, I appreciate your concern. However, I would like to make it known that my decision to be celibate was my own choice (I was never "taught" this or forced this from anyone as I didn't grow up Christian). I know that God loves me exactly as I am (regardless of my lifestyle). Rather I am living in a way that I believe is in service to God. Not to earn love, but rather because I feel like this is helping me serve. I hope this clears things up. God bless!
When you're old and tired and have lost your charm, you'll look back, and say to yourself, "How much happiness I've passed up for an imaginary god!" And you'll cry. But it will be too late.@@christianconvos

Hello, hello... I'm a French journalist and writer, specializing in history, and I'm currently doing a little documentary research about young people and the Catholic faith in the media, in different countries. That's why I came across your video. In the American media, most of the time, we come across people who are completely exalted, who seem to need urgent psychiatric treatment. That's not your case, you seem like a very nice, intelligent, well-balanced boy. Cute, too ! But what you're saying makes me very uncomfortable. I absolutely don't understand how a young person today, in 2023, can let such retrograde principles rule his life. I'm not criticizing your faith, you believe in whatever you want, but to refuse the love and friendship of a companion and true human fulfillment because of some vague deity invented in a distant Middle East where you'll never go seems to me an incredible waste. I don't mean this unkindly, but it saddens me. ruclips.net/video/-1rRucXbqOg/видео.htmlsi=R3BArM_quiWIc7W-@@christianconvos

It is YOU that I feel sorry for, so don't feel sorry for those who have CHOSEN to be obedient to GOD'S HOLY WORD. Why did you bother to watch the video in the first place?? Just to leave your disparaging comment?? Those of us who are same-sex attracted, and CHOOSE to follow GOD'S HOLY WORD, we don't need NO PITY. PITY RTIES ARE FOR THE WEAK ONES. HOWEVER, THOSE OF US WHO HAVE CHOSEN THIS PATH ARE THE STRONG ONES! JESUS CHRIST HAS GIVEN US HIS GRACE TO GET THROUGH DAY BY DAY! Pastor J.W. Brand (the eunuch preacher). Lots of love in CHRIST JESUS, From a Pastor who is same-sex attracted, but has chosen to live a holy life before JESUS CHRIST, as a celibate man. Blessing!
People are so misguided. You don't struggle with same-sex attraction. Just as a heterosexual doesn't struggle with opposite sex attraction. We struggle with lust. Lust is the sin. It drives us. It is our god when you abandon the holy spirit. A heterosexual would not give up on recieving love and giving love to one person for the rest of their life because of their lustful struggle. They learn self control and put God first. A homosexual who rejects to give love and recieve love from another man on this earth, is denying God's gift to him, and letting the devil to work in you through lustful passions to continue to tempt too outside of God's gift. In the past, all the men only had lustful passions,it is why it said the men should not sleep with men, but now men have learned how to love each other righteously. Practices have changed. Your best friend or your community is not your suitable helper, for they will have one, one day. And you will be physically alone in this world. If you can accept, do so, if not, gays, marry the man that blossomed from your youth.
People seem to misunderstand the bible on this issue and of course other issues. There is nothing wrong with loving someone of the same sex. There may be certain acts that were frowned upon. Attraction goes far beyond than just sexual activities.
@@jenisebrooks4308 Absolutely! We are not intended to be alone. A lot of people focus so much on just sexual activity. There’s much more to a relationship then just that.
JESUS IS THE ONLY WAY TO SALVATION? Then why did he only appear to a few amount of people? By appearing to only a very small amount of people and only 2000 years ago, 295k years after we humans already existed, Jesus accepted that 55 billion people, that lived before him, would never hear his words and that till today his words would not be heard by 2/3 of humans as those humans were socialized in other religions. He also accepted that his words would spread in vi ole nce on North Europe and especially in Latin America, where it caused the biggest ge noc ide of human history.
You are NOT a Pastor from the LORD to make such a statement as you have. REPENT of your false teachings BEFORE you meet JESUS CHRIST, because if you do not, the end results will be disasterous for you. I say these things in love to you. Pastor J.W. Brand (the eunuch preacher).
I have one dream left in life. I dream of one day having a loving Christian husband, a small cabin in the woods, I spend most of my time in study and prayer, we are part of a church, maybe raise a family, just live a typical and boring life. But that is little more than a delusion. As soon as I can throw away my last dream, the last thing giving me any hope for the future, I may be able to live my life alone, that which is expected of gays in the church, the very first thing God himself said was not good.
This is a great video. Personally I'm an atheist and I would have incredibly hot gay relations with you. But I can understand why you might not want to do that.
You're doing so much damage to yourself, punishing yourself for who you are, denying yourself a life of happiness with someone, and for what? Three sentences in a 3000 years old book, two of them just being part of a primitive code of law, much like it's illegal to be homosexual in some country's laws today. And if God really is a homophobic bully, why are you allowing yourself to be bullied?
A 3000 YEAR OLD BOOK??? MY FRIEND, IF YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT THE BIBLE, YOU ARE CERTAINLY VERY MISINFORMED!!! GOD PRESERVED HIS WORD FOR US TO KNOW HIM! YOU NEED TO KNOW HIM! JESUS LOVES YOU! BUT WE MUST ALL REPENT! WHETHER YOU WANT TO HEAR THOSE WORDS OR NOT! GOD MADE SURE THAT WE WOULD HAVE ACCESS TO HIS WORD. SATAHAS CONVINCED YOU THAT HIS HOLY WORD IS JUST A BOOK! BUT SATAN KNOWS THAT GOD'S HOLY WORD HAS CHANGED MANY LIVES! GOD ROSE ME FROM THE DEAD! GOD HAS ALL POWER! AND WHAT YOU DO NOT UNDERSTAND IS THIS ONE VERY IMPORTANT FACT.....THOSE WHO WILL ONLY REACH FOR THE THINGS OF THIS WORLD, THAT IS ALL YOUR GOING TO HAVE! BUT IF, IF, IF ANYONE ACCEPTS JESUS CHRIST AS THEIR PERSONAL SAVIOUR AND KING, AND HE IS GOING TO SHARE WITH US ALL OF HIS RICHES FOR ALL ETERNITY!! SO WHY DO I NEED WHAT ONLY THIS WORLD AND SATAN OFFERS IN THIS LIFE?? THE CHOICE IS VERY CLEAR FOR THOSE OF US WHO HAVE MET JESUS CHRIST! YOU OBVIOUSLY HAVE NOT MET JESUS CHRIST!! HE IS A WONDER IN MY SOUL! I WAKE UP EVERY DAY WITH PEACE THAT PASSES ALL UNDERSTANDING!! I WAKE UP WITH JOY UNSPEAKABLE!! I WAKE UP EVERY DAY KNOWING THAT I HAVE AN INHERITANCE THAT THIS WORLD AND SATAN CANNOT TAKE AWAY, AND I REPEAT, NOT ONE PERSON OR DEVIL CAN TAKE THAT AWAY FROM US!!! PRAISE THE LORD!!! YOU NEED JESUS CHRIST! HE LOVES YOU, AND HE IS WAITING FIR YOU TO MAKE THE DECISION TO SERVE AND OBEY HIM! DO NOT WAIT UNTIL YOU ARE STANDING BEFORE THE ALMIGHTY GOD IN JUDGEMENT! YOUR SOUL IS BEING WEIGHED IN THE BALANCE! REPENT TODAY AND BE SAVED, THAT YOU MAY KNOW THE JOY OF OBEYING GOD!!! Pastor J.W. Brand (the eunuch preacher).
"The goal is salvation, not being straight." Loved that. Thank you so much for making this channel and sharing your videos.
Thank you so much Pablo! God bless you brother!
Amen Dustin, God bless!
God bless

I'm in my late 60's. Same sex feelings don't go away, even as you get older.
A great point brother. God bless!
You express yourself so wonderfully...thanks brother!
this was my reply to video. I am seeking help, not justification for my ssa.

I am who you are talking about..

When someones grows up in a christian house and they grow up seeing how different people outside of the church act compared to what they have known their whole life, it is totally understandable why someone would want to try to not be ripped from that part of their life that has been so integral to them.
@@shadix365 Its a shame that all in the homophobic community doesn't just repent

Are we supposed to "believe on the finished work of Christ" or "believe on Him" (John 3:16)?
If this is so, then insisting that people must believe in His death for sins, burial, and resurrection may actually conceal the gospel and prevent someone from getting saved.Saying someone has to believe on "His finished work on the cross" may be confusing, as with slogans such as "invite Jesus into your heart," and "surrender to Jesus." This kind of language may make it more difficult to be saved,
I appreciate your thoughts on the matter, brother. God bless you.

God bless!
I don't struggle with homosexuality, but I know that practicing homosexuality is wrong, but why is it wrong?
exactly this. why is it wrong? why is it ok to be gay as long as you don't have sex? what if you meet someone you really love?
I am a gay Christian and I struggle so much with the idea that I will never have a romantic relationship. 😢
I'm sorry to hear that you're struggling David. You are definitely not alone. God bless!
But why ?? You just need to stop torturing yourself with stupid beliefs, and live your life joyfully and naturally. I'm sure you'll find a nice boy with whom you'll have a wonderful love story. The only thing stopping you from finding him is yourself.
@@podcasthastings9501 Lol I’m not going to renounce my Christian faith for temporal pleasure.

Brand (the eunuch preacher).
wonder how much longer this dude is going to stick with his diy conversion therapy. i feel bad for him
I feel so sorry for you.
Hes really hansome too :(
You are sorry that he became a child of God….. Let that sink in.
@@laladuina2045 I'm sorry that he has grown to hate himself because others won't accept him. And I feel sorry for him because he chose to hate others
He’s got serious problems for sure.
He realizes this life is nothing in comparison to ETERNITY!! He wants to end up in glory. I don't blame him. Once this life ends no redos...try and get it right now.
The Catholic church has managed this for hundreds of years
Prayer is the #1 weapon against the sin of homosexuality. Ask God to help you, we can't do this on our own.
God bless!
Becuase god is cruel. After all, he murdered thousands of people in many stories in the Bible (the cananites, first born children, the flood etc.)
Jesus did not marry anyone other than at the End of Time when He'll marry The Church (Followers of Christ) 🎉🎉😊
God bless!

It isn't about needing to be good in GOD'S EYES. It's all about wanting to PLEASE THE LORD IN ALL WE DO! By the way, to the young man that did the video, you have a wonderful heart from the LORD! You are in our prayers!
100% correct
People seem to misunderstand the bible on this issue and of course other issues. There is nothing wrong with loving someone of the same sex. There may be certain acts that were frowned upon. Attraction goes far beyond than just sexual activities.
Amen! Very well-said.
@@peraman2022so are you one in favor of a celibate same gender partnership.
He also accepted that his words would spread in vi ole nce on North Europe and especially in Latin America,
where it caused the biggest ge noc ide of human history.
Lol. Couldn't be me
there is no sin in being born LGBT.......why make it so?
Maybe he's scared of going to hell
@@Muhluri Almost everybody will go to hell anyway, and there's no way to make sure you're not going to hell.
