Stop. Nowhere in the Bible does it say that homosexuality is a sin. STOP being a pick and choose Christian. Live your life, marry your man, have children and live life. The Catholic Church is in NO POSITION, to condemn any lifestyle. Most all major religions have eliminated all hateful language from their Book of Discipline or teachings.

I've been trying to be in a position where I would be considered up in the common 'christian culture'. I tried, and I couldn't. I'm very christian to a secular, but I'm so secular to the mainstream christian. I'm probably what you would consider an outcast in the contemporary christianity or otherwise.Thanks for this video because I feel like I am a stunted mushroom in my spiritual growth in Christ and sometimes, a few steps back and behind. But I'm counting on who He is, not on what I am.

thank you for this video. I am about to turn 55. I have prayed and struggled with being a bisexual man. One of my ongoing prayers is for me to be gay or straight but I am still bisexual. In Heart I feel if I was gay God knows my heart and that is pure. Emotionally romance and such I feel that for a woman. I feel sexually attracted to a man and it is not just sexual, but a deep connection as a friend. I love friends deeply and it is not only about the sex. I just do not feel romantically the same for a man. If I am with a man sexually it is not random but because of the energy we share and then sexually. Please hello with any advice and guidance from you and those seeing this. I know I am saved through gods grace as Jesus is my savior and died for my sins. I just want to know what you all think. So let me get this straight god made you the way you are. So God made you gay, but he does not want you be gay? Your saying he also made you so you can have a sad lonely existence with no partner. What a depressing way to live your life.

Why are you saved by grace through faith that is the question of all questions? And that does make a difference that you turn from your sins. Because of some of this that you have Incorporated is not the correct message. What is Grace and then what is faith? Grace comes from the holy Spirit and faith is a part of your walk. That's why Christ is your author and finisher of your faith. But if you do not turn from your sinful ways there is no way that you can be saved. Even if you're no longer indulging in the homosexuality you can still be led astray buy people out here that are not giving the correct message. About salvation. Repentance is a change of mind it's not turning from sin. But what are you going to change your mind about? To no longer live that life. That's exactly what it means at the end of the day. And yes you do have to repent to be saved. There are plenty of people out here that are going to say you do not have to repent and they are lying. And the only reason why you brought it up is because you listen to someone else out here tell you that. You didn't come up with that understanding on your own. The only reason why you cannot get yourself in the Kingdom because of what you have done is because God is a part and everything of the facet of a Christian Life. Whether it's the holy Spirit convicting you. Whether it's Christ that went to the cross. And then you find out where Grace comes from. Then you figure out that God grants you repentance in the first place. So every bit of it is a part of God. Do you have to change your mind on how you're living your life when you come to Christ yes you do. Not trying to be mean but you got the wrong message about faith and the wrong message about Grace. Grace is not some unmerited favor and then end it. It's more than that.

Dear young brother in Christ, I have known since I was in kindergarten that I had a strong attraction to men, to the point (which at this age you totally don't understand) that when I saw a big strong hairy man, I would get this warm/hot feeling all over me and my skin would flush (imagine this happening to you when you were only 5 years old, how confusing that would be). I also would get this same feeling when I would go to the bathroom and a grown man would saunter up to the urinal and would get his member out of his pants, I would quickly look away as I was taught that was naughty. Because I was taught that homosexuality was the ultimate bad sin and that being a homosexual was an express ticket on the train to HELL. But that didn't happen until a bit later in school, because you have no concept of what gay/homosexual is at age 5. Skip ahead 14 years or so, I got married and just suppressed these feelings. Approximately 14 years later my wife divorced me, despite my insisting on going to marriage counseling. Six weeks into counseling right in the counselor's office, "I don't know what you didn't understand when I told you I don't ever want to live with you again sucker!" The counselor told me to let her go and to get on with my life. My divorce took so long because the court misplaced our file...etc. I had moved on with my life and had found a new lady and was engaged to her. My first divorce happened on 11/18/1991 and I was remarried on 12/11/1991, so it looked like I left my first wife for the second wife. Nothing could have been further from the truth. Then just 6 1/2 years later my second divorce came through. My sexuality did not play a part in either one of these divorces. I loved these women and marital relations were good during the first marriage (she was not that into sex) and fantastic during the second marriage, this is where I really learned about the art of lovemaking. But there is the old saying the third time is the charm, but I balanced this against 3 strikes and you are out. I did not want to take my chances and decided I was done with women after the second divorce and that I was going to explore my sexual feelings with men. I went totally off, and was being a man whore for about a year...while still trying to remain a Christian man. Looking back I realize how incongruent that really was. Once I got my head screwed back on my shoulders in the right direction I got back on track with being an obedient Christian. I had done my societal part and got married to women twice and neither of them worked out. Although my second wife did eventually come back to being friends, and a better friend I have never had. Then she died on me, and I found her dead in her apartment...a story for another day. With all of this said, I have struggled and I do mean struggled with my sexuality for 61 years (remember I told you I was aware of being attracted to men as early as 5 years old and I am 66 years old now). Because I have struggled, I have continuously sought information about being a Christian, gay, and having homosexual feelings. A Baptist pastor that I had when I was in Louisville, KY (he was not a young man, nor was he new to the ministry) said something to me when we were all out to dinner one day. Someone (not me as I would have been horrified to bring up the subject) brought up the topic of homosexuality. After there was some discussion, this pastor said something to me that just BLEW ME OUT OF THE WATER! He said it is NOT a SIN to be a homosexual. The sin lies in the sexual acts the homosexuals perform with one another. He said if you look at all the verses that speak on this subject, which by the way the word homosexual is NEVER mentioned in the Bible, ONLY the sexual act of a man lying with another man, the same way he would with a woman, being the issue. Young brother in Christ, I have been a celibate homosexual for the past 15 years. The fact of the matter is, I have not had any boy/male friends in over 10 years. That does not mean that I haven't been on the lookout for information and material on the subject of homosexuality. Just recently, I have been doing a lot of looking again. I am really, really tired of living alone. Nobody to talk to about daily life. Nobody to give a hug to. Nobody to sit next to and enjoy a move, a game, experiencing life, etc. I really wasn't getting anywhere. However..., I truly think that God sent me a sermon to help me. I have been an obedient Christian man, and I think that this is a reward for being true to what I believe was the law of God. I want you to listen to this Reverend's sermon on Romans 1 & 2. This might give you a new perspective on being a homosexual and a Christian at the same time. I hope this will help you, one way or the other. I know this has really lightened my thought process and I am going to dig into Romans 1 & 2 further and see if this helps me even more. God bless you my young brother in Christ. Homosexuality is never a standalone: It is always surrounded by and included with a list of other sins. And we know there is no hierarchy of sins, as the wages of all sin is the same -death. So, for street preachers and people to single out one sin, call them out in public (which is wrong according to the Bible, btw) and berate. weaponize the Bible against them is wrong. Idolatry is also equally included. If these preachers, people do that, they are doing it for their ego or RUclips, and they end up worshipping that over God. That is idolatry. If you are going to call out one of the list you must call out all of it. They are as guilty, according to the Bible, as the homosexuals they condemn. Jesus says this when he talks about the log in their own eye. Problem is they are so consumed by their own desires, they can't see the log, only the wrong in others.

I understand you want to fight against homosexuality, you are absolutely right about being saved by grace though faith! there is a misunderstanding about repentance, repentance is not confession, repentance is a change of the heart and mind. it means to walk away from sin and run to Jesus. but it doesn't mean we dont struggle, as long as we desire Gods ways and do our best to avoid falling into sin, that is a true mark of a believer. their is a difference between feelings/thoughts and acting on those feelings and thoughts. you have my support, not for a homosexual lifestyle but for your desire to run from it and to Jesus. if you fall, you get back up, confess to the Lord and keep moving forward. keep praying for God to help you and strive to walk in his ways. allow the Holy Spirit to work in your life.
