This was very encouraging. I really needed to hear this. You’re awesome with making these videos. You really touched the lives of many people. It’s like that TV show touched by an angel. God is using you to change so many people and their heart posture towards Jesus thank you for being a light, especially in my life. Thank you for being obedient to Jesus. Thank you for just laying your life down for the gospel
Hey brother - Christmas blessings to you. You are a blessing and treasure. I do trust that whatever you are doing this season, you will be aware of God's great love.
Amen Jack !.. Good video. I agree with you that many Christians are sin (behavior) focused instead of being kingdom (spirit) focused. When we focus on ourselves instead of Christ, it makes our walk arduous and puts us as greater risk of relapse or abandoning the faith out of frustration. That is why Jesus said his yoke is easy, and his burden is light. When we focus on what Christ has done for us. It changes our perspective, which in turn changes our life by producing the good works and fruit.
Hey Jack, I hope you’re doing well. I agree the Cross of Christ has saved us, no works involved. But does this also mean the cross has saved us before we believed? Or is it only after we believe? If that’s the case then technically the cross didn’t save us, our choice to accept it did. Curious to hear your thoughts on this. Love, Grace, and Peace to you!
I think of it this way, we are hanging from a cliff, Jesus is reaching out, we have the choice to take his hand and allow him to save us, or let go and die
@ In this analogy Jesus doesn’t save us. We save ourselves when we grab His hand. Wouldn’t it make more sense for Jesus to grab your hand and pull you up without your help?
@@mickeymoose2583 Humour me for a moment. Is the good news this; Jesus has saved you at the cross? If yes, then why do we have to believe it in order to be saved? Think about it. If someone doesn’t believe it Jesus isn’t their saviour, yet He died for their sins… so did He save them or not? If He didn’t then why would they want to believe in a Saviour who hasn’t already succeeded in saving them? Are you understanding my point?
Thank you!

@ incorrect, we don’t save ourselves. Without the hand we would be dead. Saving yourself implies you have independence.

@ Believers are saved by the cross, if you deny the cross, how can you be saved? Not everyone is saved.
